Abstract

This study aimed to determine the Effect of Incentives and Work Environment on Civil Service Performance and Job Satisfaction as Intervening Variables in Disperkimtan. South Sulawesi. The method in this study was a descriptive method with a quantitative approach with the aim to determine the effect of the variables studied. The population in this study were all Civil Servants covered by Disperkimtan Sulsel, amounting to 135 people. While the sample used in this study amounted to 134 people. Data collection techniques using survey methods through observation, questionnaires, and literature study. Data analysis was performed using SPSS ( Statistical Package for the Social Science) version 25. The results of this study indicated that direct incentives and work environment have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance in Disperkimtan South Sulawesi. There was no positive and significant effect between incentives on performance through job satisfaction as an intervening variable. While job satisfaction as an intervening variable that mediates between work environment and performance has no positive and significant effect. In this case, job satisfaction weakened the influence of the work environment on the performance of civil servants.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance and work satisfaction at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk., Makassar Branch. The analytical method used is path analysis. Samples in this study were all amounting to 90 permanent employees of the company of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia ( Persero ) Makassar Branch Office, Then, the size of the samples that can represent the population to be examined was 83 respondents with the t-test as a research hypothesis test. Based on the results of the research which have been done, it can be known partially that the independent variables, namely compensation, has a positive effect on employee performance and job satisfaction, the research results also prove that there is a positive influence of compensation on job satisfaction and employee performance of the employees of PT.Bank Rakyat Indonesia Persero Makassar Branch Office.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of evaluation effectiveness application of information systems at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a survey method, the sample used by 172 respondents from Lecturers, Employees, and Undergraduate Students in the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University. The research data was obtained from a questionnaire (primary), brainstorming, literature study, and direct interviews with relevant parties according to the research objectives. Analysis of the data used in this study is a SWOT analysis (strength, opportunity, weakness, threat) to formulate an academic information technology system development strategy. The results of this study indicate that the total score for internal strength factors is 3.02. This number is needed as a process to find out where the intersection point (E) in the SWOT Diagram is. The total score for the internal weakness factor is 2.55. This number is also needed as a process to find out where the intersection point (E) in the SWOT Diagram is. Based on the determination of the area, quadrant I is the most extensive, as well as the location of the intersection point located in quadrant I so that the main strategy of developing Information Systems at FT Unhas Makassar is the SO strategy. While alternatives to the development of Information Systems at FT Unhas Makassar are ST, WO, and WT.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of leadership sale and work discipline on service Quality and Employee Performance in the Investment Office and One-Stop Integrated service in Makassar city. The approach taken in this study was a quantitative approach with the path analysis method. The population in this study are employees at the Department of Investment and one-stop integrated service or the city of Makassar. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and questionnaires while data processing using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service solution) version 23. The results showed that there is a positive and significant influence of leadership style on service quality. There is a negative and insignificant influence of work discipline on service quality, there is a positive and significant influence of leadership style on employee performance, there is a negative and insignificant influence of work discipline on employee performance, there is a negative and significant effect of service quality on employee performance, there ia a positive and significant influence of leadership style on employee performance through quality service. There is a negative and insignificant influence of work discipline on employee performance through service quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, sales growth, capital costs, and asset growth on firm value, and analyze the exchange rate moderating the effect of profitability, sales growth, capital costs, and asset growth on firm value. The sample used is the Food and Beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Stock Exchange totaling 12 companies, data collection techniques through observation and websites. Data analysis techniques using moderate regression analysis (MRA). The findings show that ROA has a significant and positive effect on firm value, WACC has a significant and negative effect on firm value, sales growth has no effect on firm value, asset growth has no effect on firm value. The exchange rate against company value is not significant, while the moderating variable of the exchange rate moderates the relationship between the effect of profitability on company value, the exchange rate that moderates the relationship between the effect of capital costs on company value, the exchange rate does not have the potential to be a moderating variable that affects the strength of the relationship between growth variables sales with the value of the company, and the exchange rate does not have the potential to be a moderating variable that affects the strength of the relationship between the variable growth of assets with the value of the company.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine and analyze the influence of the work environment, work motivation, job satisfaction on the performance of Dispatchers at PT PLN (Persero) UP2D Makassar. The method used in this research is the Descriptive Analysis method using multiple regression. The population in this study were employees who worked at PT PLN (Persero) UP2D Makassar, namely Dispatchers, the sample in this study were 34 Dispatchers. Data collection uses observations, questionnaires, and documentation while testing the hypothesis used to use validity analysis techniques, reliability testing, classical assumption tests, partial tests, and simultaneous tests. The results of this study indicate that first, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of dispatchers. Second, work motivation has a positive and significant influence on dispatcher's performance. Third, job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on dispatcher performance. Fourth, if simultaneously the influence of the work environment, work motivation, and job satisfaction on dispatcher performance together have a significant effect on performance. The most dominant variable in the model is work motivation, 34% explains the relationship to dispatcher employee performance variables.

Abstract

This study aims to know and to analyze the effect of service quality strategy, marketing mix strategy on Household Loan Credit (KPR) customer satisfaction, the influence of service quality and marketing mix strategy on KPR customer loyalty, the effect on satisfaction on KPR customer loyalty, service quality strategy and marketing mix strategy on customer loyalty through KPR customer satisfaction at PT. Bank Central Asia Tbk Makassar Branch. To achieve these objectives, techniques of collecting data carried out through observation and distribution questionnaires by using data analysis techniques, namely descriptive analysis, validity and reliability testing, assumption classic tests, and path analysis. The results of this study proved that the service quality strategy and marketing mix strategy gave a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Service quality strategy and marketing mix strategy gave a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty, the customers' satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty, customer satisfaction could mediate the effect between service quality strategy and marketing mix strategy on increasing customer loyalty at PT. Bank Central Asia, Tbk. Makassar Branch.

Abstract

One of the three aspects that influences the success of the stock investment, uses to understand the various data and information available in the financial market for investor’s decisions. There is two analysis, fundamental and technical. The fundamental analysis applies Net Income, Equity, and Cash Dividend, while technical analysis applies Average Prices and Volume. All of these variables will be examined their effect on the Corporate Market Capitalization. Samples are stocks that have been or currently in the LQ45 index for the period 2008 - 2018. This research utilized path analysis for the analytical method, on the SPSS program. All variables need to be transformed to get through the normality test. It transformed again with the Cochrane Orcutt method because of autocorrelation. The method applied outlier data tests, multicollinearity, the Sobel test without heteroscedasticity. The results show that Net Income and Equity simultaneously or individually, have a positive and significant effect on Cash Dividend, which is a mediating variable to the Corporate Market Capitalization. Furthermore, Net Income, Equity, Cash Dividend, Average Price, and Volume simultaneously or individually, have a positive and significant effect on the Corporate Market Capitalization.

Abstract

Today the competition in the business world is getting tighter, this is indicated by the number of competing companies that have sprung up that are engaged in the same type of business in capturing the market so that consumers buy the products offered and try to keep their customers so as not to turn to the same product from different companies. This study aims to analyze the effect of Brand Image and service quality on customer satisfaction, Brand Image and service quality on customer loyalty, the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty, the influence of brand image and service quality on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction at PT. Bosowa Berlian Motor in Makassar city. To implement these objectives, data collection techniques are used through observation, questionnaires and documentation, using the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis method. The results of the study found that brand image and service quality had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Brand image and service quality have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction can partially mediate between brand image and service quality on customer loyalty. It can be indicated that the better the quality of service, the more satisfied the customer will be, thus impacting customer loyalty.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the right strategy development of Makassar New Port through the SWOT approach, Boston Consulting Group and General Electric. This research uses a quantitative and qualitative approach, the sample used is 30 directors and all levels of PT Pelindo IV (Persero). Analysis of the data used in this study is the SWOT analysis, BCG (Boston Consulting Group) and GE (General Electric). The results showed that with an established company condition with consistent profitability achievement, the strategy selection used by using the QSPM method was to strengthen its strategic position in developing the Makassar New Port and to map business potential in order to support the Makassar New Port as part of the Main Sea Corridor in Indonesia East. From the results of the BCG and General Electric matrix analysis, the position of Makassar New Port is in the position of Stars and Growing Selective. Associated with Makassar's position in the SWOT analysis, the strategy to strengthen the strategic position of Makassar New Port is most suitable for use in business development and competition.
