Abstract

Government policies that restrict imports of beef also lead to high domestic beef prices. This study aims to identify internal and external strategic factors that become strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and formulate the right strategy for the management of RPH-R Mopah in increasing the PAD of Merauke Regency. This research uses descriptive approach with qualitative and quantitative research type. Qualitative methods will be used in the stage of collecting various data required and reduce the gnats in accordance with the needs of this research then at the stage of the analysis will use quantitative methods. The results of research indicate the strategic factors that become the strength is Access to information and regulation, Financing and infrastructure facilities. the number and skills of officers pengolala and socialization and promotion are the strategic factors that become weaknesses. market, regulation, technological development of animal husbandry and area potency are stratgeis factors which give opportunity to increase retribution of RPH-R Mopah as one of source of PAD and transportation outside Merauke Regency become strategic factors become threat. Alternative strategies obtained in this study can be ranked based on the highest attractiveness to the lowest as follows: Increase in Number and Skills of Human Resources (7.70), Improved Supervision of Cutting and Circulation of Meat (7.60), Regulatory Improvement (7,13) Socialization and Promotion Efforts (6.43), Addition of Other PAD Source from RPH-R Mopah (5.82) and Addition of Operating hours (5.83).

Abstract

In achievement organizational goals, the teachers as human resources play a very important role to other resources in the Organization. Improving teacher performance, occupying important and strategic positions. The Science and technology as capital by human resources will be more effective if handled by capable human resources and have high performance. Therefore, this research aimed to analyze the influence of Organizational Culture, Organizational Commitment, and Job Satisfaction on the Performance of the teachers of state high School in Makassar. This research used quantitative method. The research sample was 89 teachers in the school. The techniques used to collect data were the questionnaires observation, and the various data with were related to the research. The analysis method used in this research was the SEM PLS 3.0 analysis with SPSS 22. The results indicated that organizational culture, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on teacher’s performance.

Abstract

Human resources are the most important asset for an organization because of its role as the subject of organizational policy and operational activities. This study aims to determine to determine the influence of organizational culture, organizational commitment, and compensation on employee performance through job satisfaction at the District Health Office Tomohon City. This study explains the influence and influence of the variables to be studied. Using a quantitative approach because the data used to analyze the relationship between variables is expressed by numerical scaling or scale. Test results have been done indicate that organizational culture has a significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment has a significant effect on employee performance, compensation has a significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a significant effect on the performance of pegawaI. Simultaneously organizational culture, organizational commitment, compensation and job satisfaction will have an effect on the performance of employees at the District Health Office Tomohon.

Abstract

Eksistensi perusahaan dalam pada perubahan pasar atau kondisi tertentu menjadi sangat penting bagi semua perusahaan karena mereka semua menjadi bagian dari globalisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi posisi bisnis pelabuhan kelas I di lingkungan PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero); meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif unit bisnis pada masing-masing pelabuhan kelas I; dan menentukan strategi yang efektif diterapkan bagi masing-masing pelabuhan kelas I. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengarahkan keputusan strategis pada pelabuhan kelas I. Keputusan strategi manajerial dalam penelitian ini dalam cakupan analisa GE (general electric) dan analisa tipologi Miles & Snow. Lokasi atau tempat penelitian di Balikpapan, Samarinda, Bitung, Ambon, dan Sorong. Data yang dikumpulkan mencakup data data sekunder. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini mencakup general manajer, manajer dan asisten manajer di kelima cabang pelabuhan yaitu Pelabuhan Balikpapan, Pelabuhan Samarinda, Pelabuhan Bitung, Pelabuhan Ambon dan Pelabuhan Sorong sebanyak 40 orang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis RBV,SWOT, TOWS, General Electric, dan Miles & Snow. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bisnis pelabuhan kelas I di lingkungan PT Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (Persero) secara umum berada pada posisi yang menguntungkan dengan potensi sumber daya yang memadai. Upaya meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif unit bisnis pelabuhan kelas I dengan memaksimalkan seluruh kekuatan dan peluang yang dimiliki, dan sekaligus meminimalkan kelemahan dan ancaman. Berdasarkan analisis Miles and Snow yang digunakan maka berdasarkan indikator strategi fokus Pelabuhan Bitung, Ambon dan Sorong menerapkan strategi prospector, Pelabuhan Balikpapan mengadopsi strategi defender, dan Pelabuhan Samarinda revelan dengan strategi analyzer.

Abstract

Over the year the marketing world has turn into a massive change, it is mostly caused by more consumers did the buying activity merely not due to their needs of the products but instead of their wants, while some others did buy as an escape of stress or anxiety feeling, not to mention the existence of more stores, more products, more influencer has major impact to the buying behavior of a customer. This research aims to investigate the relation of this so called self-presentation and compulsive buying, as mention earlier customers buying activity has change, it was no longer needs instead it became habit that can lead to abruption or addicted behavior. One of many addicted behavior is compulsive buying. This research applied multiple regression as an analytical tool as an attempt to measure the relation between self-presentation and compulsive buying. Self-presentation is a way of people to present their self to others, some people present their true self while some use a perfect persona, self-presentation proved has a relation with compulsive buying, but only one dimension out of two proved has significant effect toward compulsive buying. Self presentation has two dimension which are protective style and acquisitive style, the protective style proved has no significant effect toward compulsive buying while acquisitive style prove has significant effect toward compulsive buying.

Abstract

PT. VALE Indonesia has many employees in its area of ​​operation, approximately 3000 permanent employees owned by PT VALE Indonesia at this time.This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on satisfaction and the word of mouth resident housing employees of PT. VALE Indonesia in order to design a strategy to increase the satisfaction of residential residents who are company employees who are closely related to the company's strategy in the long term. This research method using descriptive format is a method in researching the status of a group of people, an object, a set of conditions, a system of thought, or a class of events in the present. The result of this research indicate that service quality have positive and significant influence to satisfaction, service quality have positive and significant influence to word of mouth (WOM), satisfaction of housing resident positively and significantly influences to residential resident of PT Vale Indonesia. While the quality of service and satisfaction of occupants positively and significantly affect the WOM housing residents of PT Vale Indonesia together.

Abstract

Business strategy is very important in developing and optimizing future business potential. The aim of this study is to understand the condition of business performance Logistics and Supply Chain Toyota Spare Parts at PT. Hadji Kalla and to measure also to determine the business strategy of Logistics and Supply Chain Toyota Spare Parts at PT. Hadji Kalla. The study applied qualitative and quantitative descriptive, which conducted at PT. Hadji Kalla for ± 2 Months. Analysis method used SWOT analysis & TOWS Balanced Scorecard. Data were applied in research consist of qualitative and quantitative. Primary and secondary were source data. The results of study shows that 1) The performance of business Logistics and Supply Chain Toyota Spare Parts at PT. Hadji Kalla has different distribution of each kind and type of cars. 2) SWOT analysis of fourth BSC perspective indicates dominant position of company at quadrant I than progressive action should be taken through utilization of internal strengths for reaching a big enough marketing opportunity. 3) The business strategy determination of 4th perspective BSC: finance that is management in new business selection can be immediately prepared and socialized to the whole organization; customer that is to rais customer touch point to the customer; internal business process that is technological innovation to in facing digital era; and learning and growing that is to strengthen the position company’s employee in prosperity and completion. From this is condition of business performance with SWOT & TOWS BSC analysis application can be mapping the position of company and giving the output strategy of the fourth company business perspectives.

Abstract

Valuation of initial share price must be undertaken by companies that conduct an initial public offering (IPO). This study aims to assess the initial stock price made by PT. Bintraco Dharma, Tbk a car sales and finance company. The design of this study uses data proposed sampling collected by researchers from various sources such as company websites, automotive related agencies and departments as well as website provider financial reports and stock prices on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The result of research with three valuation methods used by the researcher shows that the initial share offering of PT. Bintraco Dharma, Tbk for Rp 1,750, - is undervalued because each method produces valuation value above the offering price ie discounted free cash flow to the firm stock price Rp 1.967, -, the relative valuation method with the average price to earnings ratio industry based on 10 automotive companies in BEI Rp 2.472, - and method of price to earnings ratio with multivariate regression analysis resulted in price Rp 2.084,. Multivariate analysis showed that return on asset (P = 0.0081 <0.5%) had a significant influence on price to earnings ratio while the other four variable such as dividend payout ratio, cost of debt, debt to equity ratio, and risk (beta) earnings ratio for shares of PT. Bintraco Dhama, Tbk is less significant. The result of determination test shows the value of R-square = 0.1603 or about 16.03% stock price is determined by the independent variable used in the research and the rest (83.97%) is determined by other factors, so that the next researchers can do the valuation by using variables other than used in this research. It was concluded that PT. Bintraco Dharma, Tbk is offered undervalued based on valuation using three methods used in this research, so that investors should buy and hold within a certain period until the price approaches its intrinsic value considering the good fundamentals of the company several years.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership style, work discipline and motivation on the performance of employees at the Social Service in Merauke District of Papua Province. The type of this research is quantitative research that is to know and analyze the influence of leadership style, work discipline and motivation to the performance of Social Service of Merauke Regency of Papua Province. The results of this study found that leadership style negatively and significantly influence on performance, work discipline positively and significantly influence on employee performance, motivation has positive and insignificant effect on employee performance. Work Discipline Affects the Dominant positively and significantly to the performance of employees of the Social Service of Merauke Regency of Papua Province

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the level of work discipline, work motivation and work commitment to the performance of employees at the Public Works Department of Merauke Regency.This research uses quantitative research, quantitative research is a process of finding knowledge using numerical data as a tool to analyze information about what want to know.The results of this study found that work discipline, work motivation and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, high work motivation can be proven to contribute positively and significantly to improving employee performance , the commitment of good organization proved to give positive and significant contribution to the improvement of employee performance at the Office of Public Works Department of Merauke Regency.
