Abstract

Abstract. The G20 is a multilateral cooperation forum consisting of 19 major countries and the European Union (EU). The G20 represents more than 60% of the world's population, 75% of global trade and 80% of world GDP. The G20 members consist of South Africa, the United States, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Germany, Canada, Mexico, the Republic of Korea, Russia, France, China, Turkey and the European Union. Companies that need funds can sell their securities on the capital market. Securities newly issued by the company are sold in the primary market. The newly sold securities can be in the form of an initial public offering (IPO) or additional new securities if the company has gone public (these additional securities are often called seasoned new issues). The results of the research show that the Indonesian capital market towards the South African capital market obtained a value of 0.553 so that the level of closeness of the relationship is moderate. The Indonesian capital market against the United States capital market obtained a value of 0.473, so the level of close relationship is moderate. The Indonesian capital market against the Australian capital market obtained a value of 0.435 so that the level of close relationship is moderate. The Indonesian capital market against the British capital market obtained a value of 0.699 so that the level of closeness of the relationship is Strong. The Indonesian capital market against the Chinese capital market obtained a value of 0.713 so that the level of closeness of the relationship is strong. The Indonesian capital market against the Japanese capital market obtained a value of 0.597 so that the level of closeness of the relationship is moderate. The Indonesian capital market against the South Korean capital market obtained a value of 0.693 so that the close relationship is strong. The Indonesian capital market against the French capital market obtained a value of 0.508 so it can be concluded that the level of closeness of the relationship is moderate. Abstrak.  G20 adalah forum kerja sama multilateral yang terdiri dari 19 negara utama dan Uni Eropa (EU). G20 merepresentasikan lebih dari 60% populasi bumi, 75% perdagangan global, dan 80% PDB dunia. Anggota G20 terdiri dari Afrika Selatan, Amerika Serikat, Arab Saudi, Argentina, Australia, Brasil, India, Indonesia, Inggris, Italia, Jepang, Jerman, Kanada, Meksiko, Republik Korea, Rusia, Perancis, Tiongkok, Turki dan Uni Eropa. Perusahaan yang membutuhkan dana dapat menjual surat berharganya dipasar modal. Surat berharga yang baru dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan dijual di pasar primer (primary market). Surat berharga yang baru dijual dapat berupa penawaran perdana ke public (initial public offering atau IPO) atau tambahan surat berharga baru jika perusahaan sudah going public (sekuritas tambahan ini sering disebut dengan seasoned new issues). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pasar modal Indonesia terhadap pasar modal Afrika Selatan memperoleh nilai sebesar 0.553 sehingga tingkat keeratan hubungan yang dimiliki adalah sedang. Pasar modal Indonesia terhadap pasar modal Amerika Serikat memperoleh nilai sebesar 0.473 sehingga tingkat keeratan hubungan yang dimiliki adalah sedang. Pasar modal Indonesia terhadap pasar modal Australia memperoleh nilai sebesar 0.435 sehingga tingkat keeratan hubungan yang dimiliki adalah sedang. Pasar modal Indonesia terhadap pasar modal Korea Selatan memperoleh nilai sebesar 0.693 sehingga keeratan hubungan yang dimiliki adalah kuat. Pasar modal Indonesia terhadap pasar modal Perancis  memperoleh nilai sebesar 0.508 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat keeratan hubungan yang dimiliki adalah sedang.

Abstract

Abstract.     This article discusses how the financial crisis has had a significant impact on the effectiveness of fiscal policy, particularly in relation to Income Tax (PPh) and Value Added Tax (VAT). Complex changes in consumer and business behavior during the crisis created real challenges in maintaining state revenue. Declining tax contributions and changing consumption patterns demand an in-depth review of income tax and VAT policies. The main focus of the review involves tax rates, collection procedures, incentives, and tax breaks. The importance of responsive and efficient policies during a crisis requires a deep understanding of the crucial role of income tax and VAT in supporting economic recovery. A thorough evaluation of the state budget is important in optimizing the role of income tax and VAT as a source of state revenue. The transformation of the state budget should include simplifying tax rates, improving the efficiency of tax collection, and adjusting policies to stimulate economic growth. The integration of information technology in the tax system can improve accuracy and transparency. Important considerations in dealing with the crisis involve social protection, equity, and special support for productive sectors. State budget flexibility is key in maintaining stability and supporting sectors that need stimulus. The integration of sustainability elements in economic policy reflects a long-term commitment to inclusive growth. Collaboration with Abstrak.  Artikel ini membahas tentang krisis keuangan memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap efektivitas kebijakan fiskal, khususnya terkait Pajak Penghasilan (PPh) dan Pajak Pertambahan Nilai (PPn). Perubahan kompleks dalam perilaku konsumen dan pelaku bisnis selama krisis menciptakan tantangan nyata dalam menjaga penerimaan negara. Penurunan kontribusi pajak dan perubahan pola konsumsi menuntut peninjauan mendalam terhadap kebijakan PPh dan PPn. Fokus utama peninjauan melibatkan tarif pajak, prosedur pengumpulan, insentif, dan keringanan pajak. Pentingnya kebijakan yang responsif dan efisien selama krisis mengharuskan pemahaman mendalam terhadap peran krusial PPh dan PPn dalam mendukung pemulihan ekonomi. Evaluasi menyeluruh terhadap APBN menjadi penting dalam mengoptimalkan peran PPh dan PPn sebagai sumber pendapatan negara. Transformasi APBN harus mencakup penyederhanaan tarif pajak, peningkatan efisiensi pengumpulan pajak, dan penyesuaian kebijakan untuk merangsang pertumbuhan ekonomi. Integrasi teknologi informasi dalam sistem perpajakan dapat meningkatkan akurasi dan transparansi. Pertimbangan-pertimbangan penting dalam menghadapi krisis melibatkan perlindungan sosial, keadilan, dan dukungan khusus untuk sektor-sektor produktif. Fleksibilitas APBN menjadi kunci dalam menjaga stabilitas dan mendukung sektor-sektor yang membutuhkan stimulus. Integrasi elemen keberlanjutan dalam kebijakan ekonomi mencerminkan komitmen jangka panjang terhadap pertumbuhan inklusif. Kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan eksternal menjadi krusial untuk efektivitas kebijakan. Keseluruhan, kebijakan yang merespons cepat, terintegrasi, dan berkelanjutan akan menciptakan landasan kuat bagi pertumbuhan ekonomi yang inklusif dan stabil, meminimalkan risiko terhadap ketidakstabilan keuangan.

Abstract

The optimum revenue of an oil and gas industry is subject to the production volume deliverability and relatively volatile product market price which depends on demand and supply level. Naturally, mature production wells will be dominantly producing water instead of oil and gas, meanwhile, the central processing facilities are having their limited capacity to handle it. This study intends to gain the optimum oil and gas production in mature fields by deciding the opening of well choke valves and considering process facilities limitations as constraints. The model is developed using a simplex LP-based spreadsheet. Three wellhead facilities with a total of forty-seven active producing wells gas, oil, and water data are taken as input parameters. The developed model is validated using the last ten days’ actual production data to identify the error margin consistency, a total of 1,410 data combinations were used. It results in an average error margin of 4.57%-gas and 0.9%-oil. The model could be used as an operator decision reference in opening the well’s choke valve to get the optimum production rate, a minor adjustment might need considering the dynamic process parameter condition. Abstract

The rapid growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) has motivated the Indonesian government to continuously support them in order to compete in the international market. In line with this, business matching has become one of the government's initiatives aimed at assisting MSMEs in introducing their products through social media, with adaptation to the developments in digitization. PT Wastra Etnik Design is one such MSME in the fashion industry, specializing in the production of Balinese Endek woven fabric, facing challenges in adapting to digitalization, particularly in the development of product marketing. This research aims to provide support to PT Wastra Etnik Design in formulating a business matching strategy through the utilization of social media as a step towards capturing the international market. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive research, with primary data collection through interviews and a design thinking approach applied to data analysis. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the design thinking method, with a focus on the development of an e-catalog (digital catalog) in three formats (flipping book or PDF e-catalog, Instagram e-catalog, and Whatsapp Business e-catalog), is considered an optimal and highly effective approach. These e-catalogs assist PT Wastra Etnik Design in better introducing its products and reaching a broader market, thus supporting the goal of MSMEs to compete in the international market.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to analyze the impact of Business Capability and Digital Marketing on Business Sustainability in 100 SMEs in Sambas Regency (Songket Weaving) and Bengkayang Regency (Bamboo Crafts), border regions of Indonesia. The analysis results indicate that Digital Marketing has a higher positive impact (0.493) compared to Business Capability (0.348) on Business Sustainability. This suggests that Digital Marketing strategies have a more significant contribution to enhancing the sustainability of SMEs in the border region. Furthermore, in the context of SEM construction, all items related to Business Capability (X1), Digital Marketing (X2), and Business Sustainability (Y) have high outer loadings, with most values above 0.9, verifying the reliability and validity of the measurements. Model-fit indicates that the estimated model fits the observational data very well, with an R-Square value reaching 66.6%. These findings provide a strong understanding of the factors influencing SME sustainability in this border region, emphasizing the importance of implementing Digital Marketing strategies to support SME growth in the future..

Abstract

Employee performance is an important factor for measuring the success of a company or organization. This research aims to measure the effect of workload and work stress on employee performance with cyberloafing as mediation. The research sample consisted of 117 employees who worked at the Manpower and Transmigration Service of Bengkulu City. The instrument used in this research is a structured questionnaire that measures workload levels, work stress, employee performance and cyberloafing. The data that has been collected will be analyzed using the SmartPLS3 application. The research results show that workload, work stress and cyberloafing influence employee performance both directly and indirectly. The conclusions of this research provide a greater understanding of employee performance which is influenced by factors such as workload, work stress and cyberloafing and how all of this should have a positive impact on improving performance.

Abstract

Abstract.     MSMEs, which play an important role in the Indonesian economy, cannot be avoided from the serious impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result of the decline in production and trade values, a number of workers lost their jobs. In times of crisis, many businesses have to close down as a result of restrictions in the social and economic fields. But apart from that, there are also many MSMEs that can survive and are able to get through the pandemic. Therefore, the phenomenon of business resilience is important to study and research. The aim of this research is to look at the factors that influence the resilience of a business. The focus of the research is on businesses in the MSME classification, especially in Manado City. The sampling technique is purposive sampling by determining the criteria for respondents who are MSMEs in Manado City, who have been running a business for more than 4 years. In this study, the sample size was 63 respondents. The results of this research found that Entrepreneurial Characteristics and Technological Capabilities have a significant effect on Business Resilience, while Government Support has an insignificant effect on MSME Business Resilience in Manado City in the post-pandemic period. Abstrak.  UMKM yang memegang peranan penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia tak terhindarkan dari dampak serius oleh pandemi COVID-19. Akibat turunnya jumlah produksi dan nilai perdagangan, sejumlah pekerja yang kehilangan pekerjaannya. Dalam masa krisis, banyak usaha yang harus gulung tikar sebagai dampak dari pembatasan di bidang sosial dan ekonomi. Namun terlepas dari itu, banyak juga UMKM yang dapat bertahan dan mampu melewati masa pandemi. Oleh sebab itu, fenomena ketahanan usaha ini penting untuk dikaji dan diteliti. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ketahanan suatu bisnis. Fokus penelitian adalah pada usaha dalam klasifikasi UMKM khususnya di Kota Manado. Teknik pengambilan sampel bersifat purposive sampling dengan menetapkan kriteria responden yang merupakan pelaku UMKM di Kota Manado, yang telah menjalankan bisnis selama lebih dari 4 tahun. Pada studi ini, besarnya sampel sebanyak 63 responden. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Karakteristik Wirausaha dan Kapabilitas Teknologi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Ketahanan Usaha, sedangkan Dukungan Pemerintah berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Ketahanan Usaha UMKM di Kota Manado pada masa pasca-pandemi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Determinants of Disclosure of Sustainability Reports as measured by Financial Performance and Company Characteristics with the Board of Commissioners as a Moderating Variable. The population used in this study are all non-financial companies listed on the SRIKEHATI Index for the 2019-2022 period. The data used is secondary data for 19 companies obtained from the Company's website and the Indonesian Stock Exchange's website. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis and analysis with the SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Square) method. The results of this study indicate that the ownership variable has an effect on the disclosure of sustainability reports and the variables of profitability, liquidity, company size, company age have no effect on the disclosure of sustainability reports. The role of the Board of Commissioners is proven to moderate the influence of the Profitability variable on the disclosure of sustainability reports.

Abstract

Abstract.  Shopping is an activity carried out by individuals to fulfill their needs and desires. Yuniarti, Tan, Siregar and Amri (2021) argue that purchases through e-commerce itself cause changes in consumer buying behavior to impulsive buying, namely making unplanned purchases. V erplanken and Herabadi (2001) argue that impulsive buying is an illogical purchase, associated with buying spontaneously, without any plans, resulting in a discrepancy between thoughts and emotional drives. This study aims to determine the effect of hedonic motivation on impulsive buying at twin stair shopping festivals. This research uses quantitative methods respondents in this study were 200 respondents. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling. The measuring tool for impulsive buying is skaӏa compiled by Verplanken and Herabadi (2001), while the measuring tool for hedonic motivation is skaӏa compiled by Аrnoӏd and Reynoӏds (2003). The results of hypothesis testing in this study used a simple linear regression test. These results indicate that there is a significant positive effect of hedonic motivation on impulsive buying in e-commerce users during the festival double days. The implication of this research is that e-commerce users are expected to be able to prioritize shopping needs which can reduce the emergence of impulse purchases. Abstrak. Beӏanja merupakan suatu kegiatan yang diӏakukan oӏeh individu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginannya. Saat ini, cara berbelanja konsumen telah mengalami perubahan yang lebih praktis dan canggih yaitu melalui e-commerce yang dapat menimbulkan perubahan perilaku pembelian konsumen menjadi impulsive buying, yaitu melakukan pembelian yang tidak direncanakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi hedonis terhadap impuӏsive buying pada festivaӏ beӏanja tanggaӏ kembar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah 200 responden. Teknik pengambil sampel menggunakan accidental sampling. Alat ukur impulsive buying adalah skaӏa yang disusun oӏeh Verplanken dan Herabadi (2001), sedangkan alat ukur motivasi hedonis adalah skaӏa yang disusun oӏeh Аrnoӏd dan Rеynoӏds (2003). Hasil uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan motivasi hedonis terhadap impulsive buying pada pengguna e-commerce saat festival belanja tanggal kembar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini yaitu pengguna e-commerce diharapkan mampu untuk mempriotitaskan kebutuhan dalam berbelanja yang mampu mengurangi timbulnya impulsive buying.

Abstract

Fintech lending is currently growing very rapidly, but has the potential for default by generation Z and millennials. This study aims to determine the effect of financial knowledge, financial attitude, financial management behavior, and self-control on compulsive buying behavior. This research is quantitative research, with a sampling technique using purposive sampling on the millennial generation who use fintech lending in Batam City, totaling 370 respondents. This study uses structural equation modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS software. The results of this study found that financial knowledge has an insignificant effect on compulsive buying behavior, while financial attitude and financial management behavior have a significant positive effect on compulsive buying behavior. Self-control is unable to significantly mediate the effect of financial knowledge on compulsive buying behavior, but self-control can significantly mediate the effect of financial attitude and financial management behavior on compulsive buying behavior. Based on the results of the research above, psychological problems such as stress, and anxiety as well as a high sense of prestige by spending excessive money will increasingly make people fall deeper into compulsive buying. The role of policymakers in regulating the use of FinTech lending and outreach to users through advertisements is suggested so that the public and fintech lending companies can get optimal benefits from using this technological advancement in the financial sector.
