Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menulis surat resmi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual di kelas VI SD Negeri 01 Ngabang, Kabupaten Landak, Provinsi Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah sebanyak 19 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kelas pada kemampuan menulis surat resmi yang diperoleh dari siklus I sampai dengan siklus II secara berurutan yaitu 69,47 dan 75,52. Hal ini menunjukkan kemampuan siswa menulis surat resmi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya.   Kata kunci: Penerapan, Kontekstual, Kemampuan Menulis, Surat Resmi. Abstract: This research aims to determine the ability of students to write an official letter in grade VI SD Negeri 01 Ngabang, Landak Regency, West Borneo Province. The research method that used is descriptive and the research form that used is action research. Sample of this research is 19 students. The results of data analysis showed that the average class on the ability to write an official letter obtained from the first cycle to the second cycle in a row is 69,47 and 75,52. It showed the ability of students to write an official letter using a contextual teaching learning has increased in each cycle.   Keywords: Application, Contextual, Ability to write, An official letter

Abstract

This research using interactive multimedia to improve digital literacy of Junior High School students in natural science learning, focused in the material structure of the earth and disasters. The study consisted of two meetings using innovative technology in the form of interactive multimedia with different sub-material, namely (1) earth and volcanic structures, and (2) earth natural disasters and disaster mitigation. The aspects of digital literacy will be assessed in this research such as: accessing, analyzing and evaluating, creating, reflecting, and communicating. This research is qualitative research with descriptive method. Samples were taken with simple random sampling technique. Samples were student of grade VIII in 2 Junior High School in Bandung as many as 30 students. The result showed that natural science learning on the material structure of the earth and disasters by using interactive multimedia can improve digital literacy of Junior High School students with a difference overall percentage of 4.00 % from 1st meeting (70.33 %) to 2nd meeting (74.33 %). Thus, it can be concluded that by using interactive multimedia can improve digital literacy of Junior High School students in the material structure of the earth and disasters. At the end, it is expected to do a similar study related to the effort to improve digital literacy with other material.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring saat ini menjadi sebuah fenomena baru bagi sekolah, karena guru dan siswa diharuskan untuk berkomunikasi secara virtual. Hal ini tentunya perlu penguasaan literasi digital agar terjadi proses pengolahan dan penyampaian informasi yang tepat. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran virtual ini menuntut siswa agar dapat belajar mandiri di rumah. Inovasi dalam pembelajaran virtual yang dilakukan dapat menggunakan modul pembelajaran digital melalui penerapan mobile learning. Mobile learning dapat dimanfaatkan siswa sebagai sarana belajar di rumah karena dapat diakses sendiri melalui telepon pintar. Mobile learning yang dapat digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran dapat berbentuk modul digital yang di dalamnya memuat materi ajar berbasis penerapan model pembelajaran Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM). STEM dapat menjadi sebuah alternatif pembelajaran agar siswa dapat belajar secara mandiri di rumah dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital yang dimilikinya.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan mobile learning berupa modul digital bermuatan STEM yang layak pada materi IPA SD agar siswa dapat belajar secara mandiri. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan pengembangan Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE). Adapun hasil validasi pengembangan modul digital oleh para ahli yaitu validasi materi sebesar 94 % dengan kategori sangat valid, validasi media sebesar 85 % dengan kategori cukup valid, dan validasi praktisi pendidikan sebesar 93 % dengan kategori sangat valid. Selain itu, hasil angket respon siswa juga memperoleh persentase sebesar 72 % dengan kategori baik. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa hasil pengembangan produk dan respon oleh siswa berada pada kategori baik. Penggunaan mobile learning berbentuk modul digital bermuatan STEM ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan literasi digital serta pola belajar mandiri siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to describe an imagery of children’s poems collection from Bobo Magazine on January 20th 2015 edition. The research problem is about the types of imagery that contained in six children's poems, namely (1) Selamat Jalan, Cut, (2) Duka Aceh, (3) Aceh (Puisi Buat Anak Bangsa), (4) Ngarai Sianok, (5) Raporku, dan (6) Bencana di NAD. The types of imagery that will be examined in this research include (1) visual imagery, (2) auditory imagery, (3) tactile/thermal imagery, (4) smell imagery, (5) taste imagery, (6) movement imagery/kinaesthetic, and (7) feeling imagery. This research is a qualitative research with non-interactive qualitative method using an analytical approach. The results showed that not all types of imagery were contained in children's poems collection from Bobo Magazine on January 20th 2015 edition. Based on the results, it can be concluded that in one childrens’s poem can have two to five types of imagery.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the types of errors and to identify the number of students who made each type of error in solving math problems with fractions. This research is a descriptive qualitative research by using a checklist sheet instrument. Researcher in this study collected the data with documents. The main data sources used in this study were 25th grade students and the answers of fifth grade students for the 2020/2021 academic year. The results showed that there were four types of errors made by students, namely conceptual errors, operating errors, careless errors, and notation errors. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the researcher, as many as 18 of 25 students or 72% of students made operational errors,  17 of 25 students or 68% of students made conceptual errors, 4 of 25 students or 16% of students made careless errors, and 25 students or 16% of students made notational errors in solving math problems with addition and subtraction operations on fractions with different denominators.

Abstract

Penggunaan media dalam proses pembelajaran diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan kegiatanbelajarr mengajar guru. Menariknya suatu media mampu menjadi daya tarik dari media itu sendiri. Pemanfaatan media dalam belajar dapat membantu meningkatkan konsentrasi siswa. Video interaktif adalah tayangan gambar bergerak disertai suara yang bersifat untuk mengendalikan suatu perintah.Video pembelajaran interaktif menyediakan materi-materi dengan ilustrasi visual dan audio sehingga diharapkan untuk mudah dipahami. Selain menampilkan materi ajar, dalam video pembelajaran interaktif berbasis materi dan soal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk pengembangan media video interaktif tema 6 subtema 3  pembelajaran 1 kelas III yang layak dan efektif pada peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Peneliti menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan model pengembangan yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementasion, Evaluation). Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah data kuantitatif dan kulitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hasil dari validasi oleh ahli materi mendapatkan penilaian sebesar 87% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”, ahli media mendapat penilaian sebesar 87% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”, hasil uji coba respon dengan mendapatkan penilaian sebesar 94% dengan kategori “Sangat Baik”. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media video interaktif ini layak dan efektif digunakan oleh peserta didik di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Memasuki abad 21, berbagai macam kompetensi dibutuhkan agar individu dapat berdaya saing dan menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan serta tuntutan zaman. Satu di antara kompetensi tersebut adalah keterampilan berpikir kreatif. Keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada mahasiswa dapat dikembangkan melalui pendekatan Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa pada pembelaajran IPA menggunakan pendekatan STEM melalui pemberian isu-isu atas permasalahan nyata dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar pengamatan keterampilan berpkir kreatif, lembar kerja mahasiswa, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Indikator keterampilan berpikir kreatif yang dinilai meliputi kelancaran, keluwesan, penguraian/memerincikan, dan keaslian. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata rekapitulasi keterampilan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa sebesar 75,80 % dengan kriteria kuat. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan referensi untuk melakukan penelitian serupa mengenai pendekatan STEM dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

LKPD containing STEM methods is applied to grade IV elementary schools in delivering material about energy which involves many events that exist in the real world everyday. Students will be taught the technique of creating a simple tool related to energy matter, then apply various existing technologies in explaining energy matter. The description above attracts researchers to develop teaching materials about STEM-laden LKPD through R&D research. This research is a type of R&D (Research and Development) or development which is interpreted as a research conducted by creating a product and then testing its effectiveness. Based on the validation of material experts, design experts and linguists. The development of STEM-charged LKPD on energy materials at SDN 41 Sungai Raya can be categorized as feasible. This feasibility is obtained from expert validators, both linguists, design, and material experts. Overall, the feasibility aspect of the material obtained a score of 76% in the "Good" category. Overall, the feasibility aspect of the design obtained a score of 82% in the "Very Good" category. Overall, the language feasibility aspect obtained a score of 86% in the "Very Good" category. Small and large group trials have a score of 100 and have the criteria of "Very Practical" so that it can be said that STEM-loaded LKPD teaching materials on the material always save energy, are very practical and pass the trial

Abstract

Research on the development of teaching modules based on local wisdom, theme 4, various job in elementary schools grade IV has been carried out at SDN 08 Sungai Raya. The subjects of this study were 22 students of class IV B. The research method used was research and development or Research and Development using the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques were carried out using validation sheets, questionnaires and questions. The validation results from linguists obtained an average percentage of 93% with very good criteria, the assessment results from material experts obtained an average percentage of 80% with good criteria and the assessment results from design experts obtained an average percentage of 83% with the criteria Very good. The results of the student response questionnaire for the small group trial with a total of 9 students obtained an assessment result of 93% which was very good and the results for the large group trial with a total of 22 students obtained an assessment result of 91% which was very good. The results of the large group trial with a total of 22 students obtained a high value of 0.81. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the teaching modules based on local wisdom, theme 4, various class IV jobs in this elementary school can be used as one of the teaching materials at SDN 08 Sungai Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to improve Mathematics learning outcomes through Realistic Mathematics Learning in class VB students of State Elementary School 2 Sungai Raya. The learning outcomes used include cognitive learning outcomes and student attitudes during learning. This research is a classroom action research conducted collaboratively with the class teacher. This research design used a modified Kemmis & McTaggart model in 2 cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The object of the research was the learning outcomes of Mathematics through Realistic Mathematics Learning. Data collection techniques were testing and observation. Data analysis techniques were descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The results showed that the Mathematics learning outcomes of VB grade students of State Elementary School 2 Sungai Raya could improve after being given action through Realistic Mathematics Learning. In realistic Mathematics Learning used is to use real problems in life, use props, discuss results, and find concepts, then the teacher introduces standard procedures/formulas and relates other concepts in mathematics that are related. Students do not immediately get the formula but first students are directly involved in making observations using props and group discussions so that they find concepts. Initial cognitive learning outcomes showed that as many as 8 students (30%) had reached the KKM then in cycle I increased to 18 students (67%) and in cycle II increased to 23 students (85%). The average result of the attitude of cycle I reached 63% while cycle II obtained an average result of attitude of 81%. Thus, Realistic Mathematics Learning can improve the learning outcomes of mathematics students in class VB SD Negeri 2 Sungai Raya.
