Abstract

In this digital era, students generally like fun and creative things. The use of games as a learning tool not only improves conceptual understanding but also strengthens practical skills needed in the real world. In this context, GBL encourages students to learn through experimentation, reflection, and active interaction with the subject matter. This study examines the application of Game-Based Learning (GBL) to improve students' conceptual understanding at SMP Muhammadiyah 18 Surabaya. Using a qualitative method based on case studies, this study identified the impact of GBL on learning outcomes through observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation analysis. The results showed that GBL significantly increased students' motivation, participation, and conceptual understanding. In implementation, the use of platforms such as Kahoot facilitates an interactive and fun learning process. Challenges faced include limited resources and the need for teacher training to integrate GBL effectively. Thus, GBL is proven to be an innovative approach that not only strengthens students' cognitive skills but also develops social and collaborative abilities. This study provides insight into the potential of GBL in improving the quality of education through technology-based learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy and the use of the SIAPIK application mediated by financial inclusion on access to credit for MSMEs. This study uses a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach to analyze the results of the distributed questionnaires. The population in this study were MSMEs that collaborated with Bank Indonesia Cirebon and used the SIAPIK application in their financial records. To determine the number of samples, the Slovin formula was used, so that the total number of samples was 60 samples. The data analysis used was the SEM-PLS method with the Smart PLS 4 application. The results of this study found that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on access to credit for MSMEs. The use of the SIAPIK application has a positive but not significant effect on access to credit, indicating that the role of this application is still limited in influencing access to financing. Financial inclusion also has a positive and significant effect on access to credit, indicating that connectivity with formal financial services facilitates access to financing. Financial literacy has been shown to have a positive and significant effect on financial inclusion. However, financial inclusion is unable to mediate the relationship between financial literacy and the use of the SIAPIK application on access to credit.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation and impact of innovative semiotic strategies in learning Al-Gharibah verses in tahsin in Koto Kampar Hulu District. Al-Gharibah verses, which are linguistically complex and rich in symbolic meaning, demand a more in-depth and innovative approach to improve students' understanding of the Qur'anic text. Koto Kampar Hulu District was chosen as the research location because it has a strong community background in Islamic values and religious education as an integral part of everyday life. This study uses a qualitative approach with a focus on case studies. Data collection methods include participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis related to the curriculum and teaching materials. The results showed that the implementation of innovative semiotic strategies significantly improved teachers' understanding of Al-Gharibah verses. Teachers became more able to associate signs with the meanings they represent and interpret the symbolic context of the verses more deeply. In addition, this approach also increased students' motivation and interest in learning the Qur'anic text, making learning more relevant and interesting for them. This study highlights the importance of integrating educational technology, such as the Tahsin Mubarismani application, as a supporting tool in facilitating the learning of the Al-Gharibah verse. The implications of this study include recommendations for the development of a more in-depth curriculum in incorporating a semiotic approach, ongoing training for teachers, and strengthening collaboration between schools, communities, and related parties to support the sustainability of the implementation of this strategy in religious education.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the efforts made by the National Zakat Agency (Baznas) to manage zakat productively to achieve economic prosperity. Zakat funds at Baznas are quite substantial, both at the Regency/City, Provincial, and National levels. If these zakat funds are only distributed for consumption to those entitled to receive them, poverty will certainly never be minimized, let alone eliminated. As long as zakat funds are only distributed for consumption, the objectives of the zakat mandate will never be achieved. The focus of this research is to delve deeper into the strategic steps taken by Baznas to optimize national economic recovery, particularly in Central Kalimantan. This research is empirical (file research), examined using a socio-legal approach to provide a more holistic view of legal phenomena in society. The results of this study indicate that zakat management in Central Kalimantan itself in supporting national economic recovery is divided into two methods. First, zakat management remains classical, primarily for consumption, aimed at meeting the basic needs of those entitled to receive it, such as basic necessities and the Baznas (National Zakat Agency) housing renovation program. Second, zakat is managed productively each year to ensure continued growth, although it does not yet utilize a revolving fund system that could provide additional capital for productive businesses. Optimizing this system is expected to achieve prosperity, well-being, and social justice.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sharia perspective on digital marketing campaigns across two major platforms: Google Ads and Facebook Ads. Using a qualitative approach, this study evaluates the extent to which both platforms comply with sharia economic principles, such as fairness, transparency, and openness. The research focuses on algorithm transparency, audience targeting ethics, user data utilization, and ad content alignment with sharia values. The results show that Google Ads offers relatively good transparency in ad performance management, but many novice advertisers struggle to understand the complex algorithmic system. Meanwhile, Facebook Ads excels in data-driven audience targeting capabilities, but poses ethical challenges related to user data management. This study also found that advertisers' lack of understanding of platform policies is a major factor affecting the effectiveness of ad campaigns on both platforms. This research makes a significant contribution to the development of sharia-based digital marketing literacy, particularly by providing practical guidance for advertisers to run ethical campaigns that align with Islamic values. These findings are also expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in developing regulations that support the integration of sharia principles in digital marketing.
