Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of facility and infrastructure management on the quality of graduates in public junior high schools. The main underlying problem is that researchers found low quality of graduates in several public junior high schools, which is suspected to be related to the suboptimal management of educational facilities and infrastructure. The research method used is quantitative with an ex post facto approach. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 80 respondents consisting of principals, teachers, and educational staff in public junior high schools. Data analysis was conducted using a simple linear regression technique to test the influence of facility and infrastructure management on graduate quality. The results showed that facility and infrastructure management had a positive and significant effect on graduate quality with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.625. This means that facility and infrastructure management contributed 62.5% to improving graduate quality, while the rest was influenced by other factors. This finding confirms that the availability, maintenance, and optimal utilization of facilities and infrastructure can improve the quality of educational output. Therefore, facility and infrastructure management needs to be a primary concern for schools in an effort to continuously improve graduate quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of time management and performance of teachers on the formation of students' disciplinary character at MAN 2 Bone. The focus of the study is detailed into four sub-problems, namely: description of teacher time management, teacher performance, and student disciplinary character; the effect of time management on disciplinary character; the effect of teacher performance on disciplinary character; and the simultaneous effect of both. This study uses a quantitative approach with the ex post facto method. The population is 687 students, with a sample of 87 respondents selected through the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique using the Slovin formula. Data collection techniques are carried out through questionnaires and documentation, and are analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results of the descriptive analysis show that teacher time management, teacher performance, and student disciplinary character are in the moderate category. Inferentially, there is a significant effect of teacher time management on disciplinary character (t count = 5.331> t table = 1.987), and a significant effect of teacher performance on disciplinary character (t count = 4.740> t table = 1.987). Simultaneously, both also have a significant effect (F count = 15.881 > F table = 3.10; sig = 0.001 < 0.05). The implications of the study indicate that teachers who are able to manage time well and have optimal performance can be role models in shaping student discipline. Therefore, school support is needed through training, monitoring, and strengthening of a culture of discipline. Further research is suggested to examine other factors that also influence the formation of disciplined character.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the role of zakat in poverty alleviation in Indonesia, focusing on the impact of zakat as measured by the Zakat Impact Assessment (KDZ) and the CIBEST Welfare Index. Using a quantitative descriptive analysis method with an ANCOVA approach, this study examines the relationship between these variables in the period 2018-2022. The results of the analysis indicate that zakat plays a significant role in poverty reduction and welfare improvement, with a greater impact in areas with higher welfare. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant negative impact on the effectiveness of zakat distribution, as reflected in a decrease in the KDZ level. The average KDZ during the study period was 0.503 and the average CIBEST was 0.297. Two-Way ANOVA analysis showed that the CIBEST variable significantly influenced KDZ (F = 4.273, p < 0.001), with a large impact (η² = 0.558), while the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant effect with a moderate impact (η² = 0.128). This study suggests that to increase the impact of zakat, there needs to be stronger synergy between zakat institutions, the government, and the community as well as the integration of zakat into broader development policies, especially in areas with high poverty rates.

Abstract

Nowadays, students rarely apply the material. This can hinder their psychomotor development. This phenomenon is supported by learning materials that focus on cognitive development in students, which is certainly irrelevant. The purpose of this study is to examine Imam Ghazali's ideas on Islamic religious education, which, if implemented in schools, can improve students' psychomotor abilities. The study will also analyze how these ideas contribute to improving students' psychomotor abilities in today's era. The researcher used a qualitative research method with a field research approach. To ensure data validity, data triangulation techniques were used to analyze the data. The results of the research analysis indicate that the concept of Islamic religious education is still highly relevant for implementation in schools. This concept focuses not only on cognitive development but also on psychomotor development. Every human development must involve three aspects: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Otherwise, the development of these three aspects can reduce the quality of a person. According to Imam Ghazali, the student learning process is not only about being given theory or material, but also requires practice to ensure that understanding of the material is conveyed perfectly.

Abstract

This study serves as an effort to explore the implementation of the Internal Quality Standards at the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Law, Universitas Islam Ahmad Dahlan, Sinjai Regency. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, which were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman method. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) has been running effectively, with an average quality achievement exceeding 80%. This success is reflected in the attainment of several key indicators, such as Foreign Language Development, Learning Content, and Research Assessment, which reached 100%. However, some aspects still require improvement, particularly in research quality and alumni management, which have not yet met optimal standards. The active involvement of various stakeholders, including lecturers, students, and alumni, plays a crucial role in the success of this system. To further enhance educational quality, it is recommended to strengthen research support, optimize academic facilities, and reinforce stakeholder engagement to establish a more sustainable quality assurance system.

Abstract

This study discusses the phenomenon of hadith forgery that is thought to have occurred during the time of the Prophet Muhammad. Although there are differences of opinion among scholars regarding when this phenomenon first appeared, most arguments support that the forgery had its origins since the time of the Prophet, albeit on a limited scale. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a library research method. Primary data sources are al-Mu'jam al-Awsat by al-Tabrani, Sarh Muskil al-Athar by al-Tahawi and Manhaj Naqd al-Matan Inda Ulama al-Hadith al-Nabawi by Salah al-Din al-Idlibi, as well as a number of other supporting literature. The analysis was conducted using the content analysis method to explore the motives and context of hadith forgery during the Prophet's time. The study found that attempts to falsify hadith during the Prophet's time had already existed as evidenced by several reports that indicated lies in the name of the Prophet and tended to be carried out by parties with worldly motives, not to fundamentally change religious teachings. This finding makes an important contribution in understanding the historical dynamics of hadith authenticity.Keyword: hadith forgery, the time of the prophet, historical study

Abstract

This research aims to design books as an educational medium. The illustration book was chosen because it is considered quite effective and easy for learning, especially for children of 10-15 years old. The concept of designing this illustrated book uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The object of this study is protected animals in East Kalimantan, while the subject is teenagers. The data collection technique uses surveys and literature studies. Next, a SWOT analysis was carried out. The results of the study showed that the results of a questionnaire from 51 students of SMPN 18 Balikpapan showed that the majority of respondents were 15 years old (54.9%), knew enough about protected animals (86.3%), and obtained information about animals in East Kalimantan from the internet (70.6%). Most students liked illustrated books, with 74.5% having read illustrated books and 58.8% interested in reading books about East Kalimantan animals. Respondents prefer books with soft covers and merchandise in the form of keychains. An illustrated book entitled "Animal Footprints: 15 Endemic Animals of East Kalimantan" is designed as an effective educational medium to increase public awareness of the importance of preserving endemic animals. The book discusses 15 species of protected animals such as sun bears, estuarine crocodiles, and Bornean orangutans, based on data from Bappenas.
