Abstract

This research aims to examine the conceptual dynamics of wasathiyyah (Islamic moderation) in the context of Islamic education by conducting a genealogical exploration of classical texts and a critical analysis of current digital representations. The method used is qualitative, with a literature study and critical discourse analysis of two main corpora. First, classical Islamic literature, including tafsir, hadith, and works of authoritative scholars. And secondly, digital content such as online articles, social media, and da'wah videos. The findings show that in classical texts, wasathiyyah is understood as an epistemological principle that harmonizes reason and revelation and rejects extremism. In the digital space, that meaning is often simplified or even distorted due to the influence of ideological interests and populist communication patterns. The challenge for Islamic education in maintaining its scientific authority and transformative value arises from this phenomenon. Thus, the integration of classical scientific heritage and critical religious digital literacy is a key strategy in building a contextual, reflective, and value-rooted Islamic education paradigm based on the principle of rahmatan lil-‘alamin.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a systematic review of the literature discussing career readiness in adolescents, focusing on nine primary articles published between 2020 and 2024. This study uses the PRISMA approach to select and analyze articles from scientific databases, namely Google Scholar and Semantic Scholar. Inclusion criteria include peer-reviewed articles, relevant to the context of career readiness in adolescents, and presenting significant empirical and conceptual findings. The nine articles analyzed raise various approaches to improving readiness, such as school-based career guidance interventions, entrepreneurship education that develops students' mindset and growth mindset, and the use of technology in synchronous online learning. In addition, the study also includes a conceptual review and development of assessment instruments based on a multidimensional approach. The findings show that career readiness is a complex construct influenced by internal factors such as self-efficacy, metacognition, and goal orientation, and is influenced by contextual learning approaches and systemic support from schools. This study provides important insights into the design of evidence-based career guidance programs, the development of more accurate and holistic readiness assessment instruments, and highlights the urgency of synergy between pedagogical approaches and future-oriented career readiness.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and understand in depth the concept of education that developed during the reign of the Abbasid Caliphate, a period known as the golden age in the history of Islamic civilization. During this period, education and science experienced very rapid progress, marked by the development of various branches of science, both Islamic and general. This study uses a library study approach with a descriptive method, namely an approach that focuses on the review of various relevant literature, documents, and historical references to obtain a comprehensive picture of the education system during that period. The results show that the concept of education during the Abbasid era strongly emphasized the balance between religious knowledge and general knowledge. Islamic knowledge remained the main foundation, but did not close itself off from the development of other sciences such as philosophy, medicine, mathematics, and astronomy. The Abbasid government paid great attention to the world of education, including in terms of funding, the construction of educational institutions, and appreciation for scientists. Strong state support and openness to receiving knowledge from various civilizations were important factors in making this era a milestone in educational progress in Islamic history.

Abstract

Cafés are one of the rapidly growing culinary business sectors in Sukabumi City. Although many cafés emerge and initially go viral upon opening, a significant number experience a decline in performance afterward. This indicates issues in marketing performance, which may be influenced by several factors such as digital transformation, market orientation, and strategic differentiation. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of digital transformation, market orientation, and strategic differentiation on the marketing performance of cafés in Sukabumi City. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive-associative approach. The population in this study consists of all café managers in Sukabumi City, with the sampling technique using purposive sampling involving 45 respondents. The results of the F-test (simultaneous) show that digital transformation, market orientation, and strategic differentiation simultaneously have a significant effect on marketing performance. The t-test (partial) results also indicate that digital transformation, market orientation, and strategic differentiation each have a significant effect on marketing performance.

Abstract

Divorce in the modern era shows a worrying upward trend, marked by the weakening of the family institution due to a crisis of communication, individualism, and minimal understanding of religion. The Hadith, as one of the main sources of Islamic teachings, contains many social principles that have great potential in maintaining the integrity of the household. Revitalizing the social function of hadith is crucial to make it a preventive instrument in preventing divorce. This study aims to re-examine the role of hadith as a source of social values in building family resilience amidst the challenges of modernity. The method used is a qualitative study based on a thematic approach. The results of the study show that the hadiths of the Prophet not only present normative solutions but also contain social values such as deliberation, patience, empathy, and forgiveness that are highly relevant to the dynamics of contemporary households. In addition, hadith also functions as an ethical guideline that can direct married couples to harmonious communication patterns, fair social roles, and a spiritual understanding of the meaning of marriage. In conclusion, revitalizing hadith as a social instrument not only revives the teachings of the Prophet but also builds household resilience based on prophetic values that are applicable in the modern era.

Abstract

The Lontong Kupang Isbat Nikah program is a collaborative service between the Surabaya City Government, the Religious Court, and the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) to assist couples who are married religiously but not yet legally registered. This study aims to explore the critical views of KUA heads in the five regions with the highest number of participants regarding the program's implementation. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations. The results indicate that although the program provides a short-term administrative solution, most KUA heads are concerned about its long-term impact. They believe that the program's routine implementation could normalize the practice of unregistered marriages and undermine public awareness of the importance of officially registering marriages from the outset. Criticisms also focused on the weak verification system and the potential for procedural abuse. It was recommended that the program not be implemented annually, but rather only under certain circumstances with strict requirements. Several KUA heads even suggested a comprehensive reevaluation of the program, considering the possibility of its termination. In conclusion, despite its administrative benefits, the program needs to be reviewed to ensure it does not conflict with legal principles and the community's moral education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic marketing ethics on customer loyalty with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable, by surveying visitors to Islamic-themed coffee shops in Sukabumi City. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative descriptive approach. The sample used in this study was 135 respondents who were consumers who had visited or customers of Sono Space and Zenith Coffee Stores in Sukabumi City. Data were obtained through a distributed research questionnaire containing 27 questions regarding Islamic marketing ethics variables, customer satisfaction variables, and customer loyalty variables. Furthermore, the data obtained will be subjected to various tests such as validity and reliability tests using the help of smartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study show that the Islamic marketing ethics variable on customer satisfaction is tested significant, the customer satisfaction variable on customer loyalty, the Islamic marketing ethics variable on customer loyalty shows positive and significant and the customer satisfaction variable mediates effectively in the relationship between the Islamic marketing ethics variable and the customer loyalty variable is tested significant.

Abstract

Early childhood is a crucial period in a child's development, including self-expression. One way to help children channel their emotions, imagination, and thoughts is through artistic activities. This study observed two artistic activities, namely Ireng Mask Dance and finger painting, which were implemented at Pertiwi Bojong Kindergarten and Pertiwi Rambaenak Kindergarten in Magelang Regency. The aim was to see how these two activities could serve as a means for children to express themselves. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through direct observation, the results showed that while both activities have great potential, their implementation still faces challenges, such as teachers' lack of understanding in guiding children's creative processes, limited resources, and insufficient integration of local culture into learning. This study suggests the need for teacher training, the development of more varied media, and more contextual learning modules to ensure that art activities can truly support children's holistic development.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) is a crucial aspect in fuel distribution operations, especially for Tanker Crews (AMT) as the frontline. This study aims to analyze the level of AMT awareness of OHS, identify inhibiting factors, and develop and measure the effectiveness of e-booklet media as a means of increasing OHS awareness in the Pertamina Fuel Terminal Boyolali environment. The research method used is mixed methods, with a quantitative approach through pre-test and post-test and a qualitative approach through interviews and observations. The research sample of 79 AMT was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the level of AMT OHS awareness increased significantly after the e-booklet was provided. Internal factors such as knowledge and attitudes, as well as external factors such as supervision and the work environment, also influenced the level of awareness. The e-booklet media proved effective as a practical, interactive, and easily accessible educational medium, thus recommended as a means of continuous OHS training. This research contributes to the development of digital media-based occupational safety strategies in the hazardous materials transportation sector.

Abstract

The psychological well-being of students is increasingly getting a lot of attention from university and the community. From several studies, it was found that psychological well-being can affect academic achievement and also student’s success when entering the world of work and society. This study aims to determine the influence of worship and spiritual intelligence on the psychological well-being of STAB Maitreyawira Pekanbaru students. This study uses a quantitative method. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 132 students of STAB Maitreyawira Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, with a sample of 102 students from various batches or different semesters. The data collection instrument was in the form of a closed questionnaire disseminated through google forms, the results of the questionnaire were tested through instrument testing, classical assumptions, simple and multiple regression correlation analysis. The results of the study showed that worship exerted an influence of 43.7%, spiritual intelligence was influential by 68%, while worship and spiritual intelligence simultaneously affected the psychological well-being of students by 69.5%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the psychological well-being of students can be improved through the implementation of devotional puja and increased spiritual intelligence.
