Abstract

Food waste management is still an unsolved problem in Indonesia, given that public awareness of this is still relatively low. The management of food waste that is not good will have an impact on the preservation of nature and the environment. Gen Z, which is hoped to be the catalyst of the change, is encouraged to understand this issue. In order to raise the awareness of Gen Z on this issue, a webinar was held by a team of lecturers together with a student organization called UMN ECO. Three perspectives are presented: an academician, a food bank organization Garda Pangan representative, and an Instagram eco influencer. A total of 633 university students coming from 16 universities joined the event. The evaluation shows that the students are mostly inspired by this event and eager to know more about food waste management.

Abstract

Program ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan solusi para guru dalam mengatasi permasalahan kesulitan melakukan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) untuk pemenuhan publikasi ilmiah. Metode yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan memberikan bantuan dalam bentuk workshop pelatihan dan pendampingan yang berupa: (1) penguasaan konsep PTK melalui ceramah dan diskusi tentang permasalahan penelitian, kajian pustaka dan penelusuran referensi melalui internet, rancangan tindakan dan penelitian, penyusunan laporan hasil penelitian dan teknik swasunting, (2) teknik prosedur penyusunan proposal PTK dan pengembangan instrument melalui ceramah dan diskusi, (3) tugas membuat proposal dan instrumen PTK oleh semua guru peserta sesuai bidang keahliannya untuk memperbaiki atau meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan prestasi hasil belajar peserta didik yang dilakukan dengan pendampingan oleh tim pengabdi. Setelah mendapatkan pelatihan, para guru antusias untuk menyusun proposal, dan di akhir pelatihan ada 96% dari total guru yang mengikuti pelatihan menyelesaikan  proposalnya dengan baik

Abstract

Lengkong Kulon, located in Pagedangan District, Tangerang, keeps and preserves their traditions in the midst of modernization that is growing today. Lengkong Kulon itself has the potential to support their economic activities in various Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) engaged in the culinary field by having its own characteristics, namely Arabic culinary specialties such as Kebuli and Ka'ak Cakes as its attractions. However, in the midst of urban progress, developments of MSMEs are very minimal in terms of promotion. This problem can be caused by limited capital, human resources, to poor marketing management, but there are also other problems such as the lack of packaging aesthetics and photos of MSME products which have an impact on promotional activities not going well, so that MSME products are less well known by the public. large. From this problem, the solution provided by our research team is to improve the creative concept of product photography in Lengkong Kulon as a means of developing MSMEs. In order to improve the quality of product photos in Arabic culinary specialties as a characteristic of the village, it is necessary to design a visual product photo that is attractive and creative in each presentation to promotion, and is carried out systematically through three stages, starting from the inspiration stage, ideation stage, and implementation stages. The research team hopes that, through the quality and concept of photos in visual design to better and more attractive promotions, they can introduce and increase the interest of consumers and the wider community that Lengkong Kulon has its characteristics and a variety of interesting MSME product potentials, on the other hand it can also help improving the economy and welfare of the people of Lengkong Kulon.abstract in bahasaDesa Lengkong Kulon yang terletak di Kecamatan Pagedangan, Tangerang menyimpan dan melestarikan tradisi mereka di tengah modernisasi yang semakin berkembang dewasa ini. Desa Lengkong Kulon sendiri memiliki potensi dalam menunjang aktivitas ekonomi mereka pada berbagai UMKM yang bergerak pada bidang kuliner dengan memiliki ciri khas tersendiri yaitu kuliner khas Arab seperti Kebuli dan Kue Ka’ak sebagai daya tariknya. Namun di tengah kemajuan kota, perkembangan UMKM desa sangat minim dari segi promosinya. Masalah ini dapat disebabkan oleh keterbatasan modal, sumber daya manusia, hingga pengelolaan marketing yang buruk, namun terdapat pula masalah lainnya seperti kurangnya estetika kemasan dan foto produk UMKM yang berdampak pada kegiatan promosi tidak berjalan dengan baik, sehingga produk-produk UMKM kurang dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Dari masalah tersebut, solusi yang diberikan oleh tim peneliti adalah melakukan peningkatan konsep kreatif fotografi produk Desa Lengkong Kulon sebagai sarana pengembangan UMKM. Agar peningkatan kualitas foto produk pada kuliner khas Arab sebagai ciri khas desa tersebut dapat berlangsung dengan baik, maka dilakukan perancangan visual sebuah foto produk yang menarik dan kreatif dalam setiap penyajiannya hingga promosi, serta dilakukan secara sistematis melalui tiga tahapan, dimulai dari tahap insipiration,tahap ideation, dan tahap implementation. Harapan besar tim peneliti, melalui kualitas dan konsep foto dalam perancangan visual hingga promosi yang baik dan lebih menarik, dapat memperkenalkan dan menambah ketertarikan konsumen maupun masyarakat luas bahwa Desa Lengkong Kulon memiliki ciri khas serta beragam potensi produk UMKM yang menarik, disisi lain dapat pula membantu peningkatan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Lengkong Kulon.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBamboo is one of several selected taxonomically related plant categories, extremely rich in species and of great economic and ecological importance. The launching and training activities are expected to be able to develop the domestic market and penetrate the export market, starting from the Asian export market and building brand awareness of Sabatik products, mapping product marketing strategies as well as in positioning, segmenting, targeting markets efficiently and effectively during the product launching period. The activity began with the launching event for Sabatik products as well as training activities for making earrings and brooches followed by visitors or the public who took part in the activities and carried out hands-on practice in making earrings and brooches which was demonstrated by Master Takayuki Shimizu from Japan.The results of the activities carried out received a positive response in which participants stated that the bamboo batik handicrafts were good, cool and interesting and could hold exhibitions more often and maintain activities that could run well and optimally, adding exhibition products so that there were more and providing information on making craft products bamboo.Keyword : training, bamboo earrings, bamboo brooches, Japanese method PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN ANTING DAN BROS BAMBU DENGAN METODE DARI JEPANGABSTRAKBambu merupakan salah satu dari beberapa kategori tanaman terpilih yang terkait secara taksonomi, sangat kaya akan spesies dan sangat penting secara ekonomi dan ekologis. Kegiatan launching dan pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan pasar dalam negeri dan menembus pasar ekspor, dimulai dari pasar ekspor Asia serta membangun kesadaran merek dari produk sabatik, pemetaan strategi pemasaran produk serta dalam positioning, segmenting, targeting pasar yang efisien dan efektif pada masa launching produk. Kegiatan dimulai dengan acara launching produk Sabatik serta kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan anting dan bros diikuti oleh para pengunjung atau masyarakat yang mengikuti kegiatan dan melakukan praktik langsung dalam pembuatan anting dan bros yang didemonstrasikan oleh Master Takayuki Shimizu dari Jepang.  Hasil kegiatan yang dilaksanakan mendapatkan respon positif di mana peserta menyatakan hasil kerajinan bambu batik bagus, keren dan menarik serta dapat lebih sering mengadakan acara pameran dan mempertahankan kegiatan yang dapat berlangsung dengan baik dan maksimal, menambahkan produk pameran agar lebih banyak dan memberikan informasi pembuatan produk kriya bambu.

Abstract

Lengkong Kulon Village is one of the villages that have the potential to become a leading tourist village in the province of Banten. The town is located in the Pagedangan sub-district. Community Service is carried out to help village communities cultivate ten empty kiosks to sell products in the culinary business. This activity was proposed by BUMDES (Village Owned Enterprise) of Lengkong Kulon Village. The training focused on basic teaching methods regarding coffee, basic manual brewing techniques, and the famous creation of coffee menus. The training is to broaden the knowledge of the local community regarding the potential coffee business in the area. The 20 participants of this training come from the youth group of Lengkong Kulon. The training is carried out at the Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) Campus. Activities implemented in several stages include preparation for service, implementation of service, data collection; the result of seminars; and writing the report. The results of this activity received lively enthusiasm from the local village communityabstract in bahasaDesa Lengkong Kulon adalah salah satu desa yang mempunyai potensi menjadi desa unggulan wisata di provinsi Banten. Desa yang berada di kecamatan Pagedangan. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dilaksanakan untuk membantu masyarakat desa membudidayakan 10 gerobak kosong untuk keperluan penjualan produk di bidang kuliner, sesuai dengan permintaan dari BUMDES (Badan Usaha Milik Desa) Desa Lengkong Kulon. Pelatihan difokuskan pada cara pengajaran dasar mengenai kopi, teknik dasar manual brewing coffee, dan juga kreasi menu kopi, yang diharapkan akan memperluas wawasan masyarakat Desa Lengkong Kulon akan potensi bisnis kopi, serta cara pembuatannya.  20 peserta pelatihan ini datang dari kelompok pemuda karang taruna desa Lengkong Kulon. Pengabdian dilaksanakan secara off-line di Kampus Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN). Kegiatan dilakukan pada beberapa tahap meliputi (1) persiapan pengabdian; (2) pelaksanaan pengabdian; (3) pengumpulan data; (4) seminar hasil pengabdian; dan (5) penulisan laporan pengabdian. Hasil dari aktivitas ini mendapatkan antusiasme yang meriah dari masyarakat desa setempat.

Abstract

This community empowerment is carried out by the communication science academia from Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya. This community empowerment is assisted by a food technology lecturer from Universitas Al Azhar Indonesia. This community empowerment seeks to increase the knowledge of mothers with a toddler about balanced food and nutrition. This community empowerment is carried out in the Desa Pantai Bakti, Muara Gembong, one of the districts with the highest level of under-five malnutrition in Indonesia. There are two methods (mix-method approach) this community empowerment use in this activity: focus group discussion and experimental method. These two approaches aim to measure intervention (counseling, pamphlet installation, and nutritional plate medium). This community empowerment uses pre-test and post-test for the same group to measure changes in subject knowledge before and after counseling (intervention). This community empowerment affects changes in subject knowledge (n=15). The mother's knowledge about balanced nutrition was statistically significantly increased by two-tail P(T£ t) 0.002788939 with Sig. £ a 0,05.

Abstract

Factors that affect performance and productivity in teaching include: competence, work motivation, work ability, work discipline, work cooperation, leadership and social status of educators. The results of research conducted by Hidayatullah & Thaibah (2021) showed that there was a decrease in aspects of work motivation, cooperation, work discipline, and leadership in working in the world of education so that there was an increase in these aspects, training was carried out. This increase was carried out on the aspects of work motivation and cooperation. The target of this training is professionals. These professionals are principals, teachers and education staff. In connection with the above, this training is given to professionals who work at the Creative Islamic Elementary School in Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. This training was attended by 20 participants, namely educators and staff. This training process has 2 processes, indoors and outdoors. In the room, it is done by giving material about leadership and motivation. While outside the room, application activities are carried out through simulations on leadership and motivationabstract in bahasaFaktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja dan produktivitas dalam mengajar antara lain : kompetensi, motivasi kerja, kemampuan kerja, disiplin kerja, kerjasama kerja, kepemimpinan dan status sosial pendidik. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Hidayatullah & Thaibah (2021) menunjukkan ada penurunan yaitu pada aspek motivasi kerja, kerjasama disiplin kerja, dan kepemimpinan dalam bekerja di dunia pendidikan agar ada peningkatan terhadap aspek-aspek tersebut maka dilakukanlah pelatihan. Peningkatan ini dilakukan pada aspek motivasi kerja dan kerjasama. Target pelatihan ini adalah tenaga professional. Tenaga professional ini adalah Kepala sekolah, guru dan tenaga kependidikan. Berkaitan hal diatas, pelatihan ini diberikan kepada tenaga professional yang bekerja di Sekolah Dasar Islam Creative Kota Banjarbaru Kalimantan Selatan, Indonesia. Pelatihan ini diikuti 20 orang peserta yaitu tenaga pendidik dan staf. Proses pelatihan ini ada 2 proses, di dalam ruangan dan di luar ruangan. Di dalam ruangan dilakukan dengan pemberian materi tentang kepemimpinan dan motivasi. Sedangkan di luar ruangan dilakukan kegiatan pengaplikasian melalui simulasi mengenai kepemimpinan dan motivasi.

Abstract

As a country located in the Circum-Pacific Belt area, Indonesia is vulnerable to natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis. A research mentioned that there would be a potential tsunami with a maximum height of 20 meters in the south of Java Island. Community preparedness in dealing with potential disasters is essential and has a high level of urgency. UMN partnered with the South Lebak Mitigation Group (GLMS) to organize disaster literacy strengthening activities to meet the Tsunami Ready indicators, primarily the preparedness component for disseminating information. This activity emphasizes disaster communication to increase public awareness and knowledge of the importance of disaster mitigation. The target participants and locus of activity are Panggarangan Village, Panggarangan District, and Lebak Regency, residents. Activities include research on citizen disaster literacy mapping, deployment of communication product, and citizen journalism training. The results of the mapping research show that information about disasters with local content is still limited in terms of quantity and quality. To that end, each communication product was made to fit the local context of the South Lebak community. Furthermore, media literacy and citizen journalism training was held so local communities could produce and fulfil their own information needs.abstract in bahasaIndonesia sebagai negara yang berada pada area Circum-Pasific Belt rentan mengalami bencana alam gempa bumi dan tsunami. CEST (Center for Earthquake Science and Technology) ITB menyebutkan akan adanya potensi tsunami dengan ketinggian maksimal 20 meter di selatan Pulau Jawa. Kesiapsiagaan masyarakat dalam menghadapi potensi bencana sangatlah diperlukan dan tinggi tingkat urgensinya. UMN bermitra dengan Gugus Mitigasi Lebak Selatan (GLMS) menyelenggarakan kegiatan penguatan literasi kebencanaan guna memenuhi indikator Tsunami Ready khususnya komponen kesiapsiagaan dalam hal penyebaran informasi. Kegiatan ini menaruh titik tekan pada komunikasi kebencanaan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan pengetahuan warga akan pentingnya mitigasi bencana, tanggap darurat dan pemulihan pasca terjadi bencana.  Target peserta dan lokus kegiatan adalah warga Desa Panggarangan, Kecematan Panggarangan, Kabupaten Lebak. Kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi riset pemetaan literasi kebencanaan warga, pembuatan konten komunikasi, dan pelatihan jurnalisme warga. Hasil riset pemetaan menunjukkan bahwa informasi seputar kebencanaan yang bermuatan lokal masih terbatas dalam hal jumlah dan kualitas. Untuk itu, konten komunikasi dibuat menyesuaikan dengan konteks lokal masyarakat Lebak Selatan. Selanjutnya, pelatihan literasi media dan jurnalisme warga digelar agar masyarakat lokal dapat memproduksi dan memenuhi kebutuhan informasinya sendiri.

Abstract The complexity of everyday life affects the emotional, and uncontrollable behavior of society. usually irrational in making instant decisions that result in bad results in his life. Patience and clear thinking can untangle complex and thorny issues into calmer ones. Peace of mind there needs to be life learning and enjoying the process in the face of life. Ceramic, Knitting and Vidiography Training is a CSR activity proposed in this period to train the community in conditioning taste problems that are sometimes not controlled. Knitting skills training is a skill that has a level of stress relief and a level of intelligence. Likewise for ceramics patience is needed to form the desired dimensions or create new shapes. In this case, participants are trained to be patient and focused until they succeed in creating the shape of a pot, mug, cup or bowl. Vidiography of activities that are not only carried out by one profession but the general public in their daily lives wants to document each of their activities. Basic videography knowledge can be used for socialization and publication in various media such as Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Tweeter and so on. Kesabaran dan berfikir jernih dapat mengurai persoalan yang rumit dan pelik menjadi lebih tenang. Ketenangan jiwa perlu ada pembelajaran hidup dan menikmati proses dalam menghadapi hidup. Pelatihan Keramik, Rajut dan Vidiografi adalah kegiatan PKM yang diajukan dalam periode ini untuk melatih masyarakat dalam pengkondisian persoalan rasa yang kadang tidak terkontrol. Latihan ketrampilan rajut merupakan ketrampilan yang memiliki tingkat pereda stres dan tingkat kecerdasan. Demikian juga untuk keramik kesabaran dibutuhkan untuk membentuk dimensi yang diinginkan atau menciptakan bentuk baru. Sifat bahan lempung (clay) yang lunak dan elastis akan menguji kesabaran peserta. Dalam hal ini peserta dilatih sabar dan fokus hingga berhasil dalam menciptakan bentuk pot, mug, cangkir ataupun mangkok. Vidiografi kegiatan yang tidak hanya dilakukan oleh satu profesi tapi masyarakat umum dalam keseharian ingin mendokumentasikan setiap kegiatannya. Pengetahuan vidiografi dasar bisa digunakan untuk sosialisasi dan publikasi di berbagai media seperti Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Tweeter dan lain sebagainya. Ketiga pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dalam satu program PKM UMN, untuk mengisi kegiatan di pasca pandemi Covid 19 supaya dapat bangkit lagi untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa depan. Abstract

Hypertension without treatment can lead to serious complications such as the brain, eyes, heart, kidneys and even peripheral arteries. The results of the preliminary study found that 7 out of 11 who suffered from hypertension had massaged the head, neck, shoulders and back areas, but patients said that massage was only to reduce headaches without knowing which points to press. The purpose of this activity is to control and prevent hypertension in the Bangun Rejo sub-district, Tanjung Morawa sub-district. The methods used in the implementation of this service are counseling, demonstration and role play. The areas that become acupressure points are 4 fingers above the internal malleoulus, the proximal area of the meeting of the first and second metatarsal bones, 3 fingers above the wrist, at the elbow crease, 2 fingers from the back hairline in an indentation, 2 fingers behind the prominence laryngeus and in front of the carotid artery. Blood pressure checks were carried out by researchers 10 minutes after therapy. The results obtained after this activity showed that there was a decrease in blood pressure after acupressure therapy was carried out. Keywords: Acupressure Therapy, Blood Pressure, Hypertensionin indonesia Hipertensi tanpa penanganan mengakibatkan komplikasi yang serius seperti otak, mata, jantung, ginjal bahkan pembuluh darah arteri perifer. Hasil studi pendahuluan ditemukan ada 7 dari 11 yang menderita hipertensi sudah melakukan pijatan pada daerah kepala, leher, bahu dan punggung, namun penderita mengatakan melakukan pijat hanya untuk mengurangi sakit kepala tanpa mengetahui titik mana yang harus ditekan. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk mengendalikan dan mencegah hipertensi di kelurahan bangun rejo kecamatan tanjung morawa. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah penyuluhan, demonstrasi dan role play. Daerah yang menjadi titik akupresure adalah 4 jari di atas malleoulus internus, area proximal pertemuan tulang-tulang metatarsal I dan metatarsal II, 3 jari di atas pergelangan tangan, pada lipat siku, 2 jari dari batas rambut belakang pada sebuah lekukan, 2 jari dibelakang prominensia ilaryngeus dan di depan arteri carotis. Pemeriksaan tekanan darah dilakukan peneliti 10 menit setelah terapi. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah kegiatan ini didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat penurunan tekanan darah setelah dilakukan terapi akupresur. Kata Kunci : Terapi Akupresur, Tekanan Darah, Hipertensi
