Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze forms of family conflict in young households as portrayed in the film Dua Hati Biru by Gina S. Noer. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis method, this research focuses on scenes depicting interpersonal conflicts between a young married couple. The findings reveal that the conflicts include differences in parenting styles, economic pressure, interference from extended family, and a lack of effective communication. The film also portrays conflict resolution through open communication, compromise, and mutual understanding. The study highlights that family-themed films can serve as reflective and educational media regarding social realities. Abstract

This study aims to develop a science learning module based on Science, Technology, and Society (STS) that is valid, practical, and effective for use in the learning process. The method used is the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) and was conducted on fifth-grade students at SDN 22 Lubuklinggau. The developed module was validated by three experts: a language expert, a media expert, and a subject matter expert. The results showed that the language validation received a score of 93 (high category), media validation scored 90 (high category), and material validation also scored 90 (high category). The practicality test, based on teacher and student questionnaire results, showed a percentage of 91%, indicating a very practical criterion. The potential effect test, based on pre-test and post-test scores, showed a gain score of 0.75, which falls into the high classification. In conclusion, the science learning module based on STS developed in this study is proven to be valid, practical, and effective for use in classroom learning. Abstract

This research aims to develop and test the feasibility of learning media in the form of digital comics on the hormone system material for class XI as a supporting tool in biology learning. This research uses the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The media was validated by two experts, namely material experts and media experts, with validity results of 97% and 90%, respectively, which fall into the very feasible category. Trials were conducted at two schools, namely MA Raudatul Ulum and MA Miftahul Ulum, with 27 students each. Cognitive learning outcomes were analyzed through pretest and posttest, which showed a significant improvement. At MA Raudatul Ulum, the average posttest score reached 84 with a completeness rate of 92%, while at MA Miftahul Ulum, it reached 83 with a completeness rate of 88%. These results indicate that digital comic media is effective in improving students' understanding of hormone system material. Thus, this media can be an alternative solution in biology learning that is more engaging and interactive.   Keywords: Digital Comics, Hormone System, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to design a digital literacy learning medium for children by using comics as an educational tool. Comics were chosen due to their visual and narrative appeal, which aligns with children's characteristics and are considered effective in delivering educational messages. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative methods through questionnaires and qualitative methods through interviews. The results show that comics as a learning medium can enhance children's understanding of digital literacy and help them recognize and respond to negative content on social media. In conclusion, printed comic books can serve as an engaging and educational alternative to foster digital literacy from an early age.   Keywords: comic, digital literacy, elementary school, social media

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cadre system of Muhammadiyah in Karanganyar Regency, specifically in fulfilling the human resource (HR) needs for the management of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Smart School Jaten. The research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach, where data is collected through interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), participatory observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that the cadre system in Karanganyar has produced cadres who align with Muhammadiyah's ideology; however, there are challenges related to the low participation of cadres and misalignment of understanding between the administrators and other related parties. The evaluation of the cadre system reveals the need for reforms in communication and more in-depth training regarding the responsibilities of the cadres. The cadre training program focuses on developing technical and managerial competencies relevant to the needs of primary education at MIM Smart School Jaten. The conclusion emphasizes the necessity of reforming the cadre management to ensure competent HR that is ready to face future challenges, especially in managing high-standard education.   Keywords: Muhammadiyah Cadre System, Human Resources, Muhammadiyah Smart School Jaten

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between character education programs—namely the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) and the Strengthening of Character Education (PPK)—and the disciplinary behavior of elementary school students in the Cikole District. The method used was a correlational quantitative approach with a population consisting of sixth-grade students and classroom teachers in the Cikole District. The sample included 266 students and 117 teachers selected using random sampling techniques. The instruments used for data collection were questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that: 1) there is a relationship between P5 and students' disciplinary behavior with a significance value of 0.016 and a correlation strength of 0.223 (indicating a weak relationship); 2) there is a relationship between Strengthening of Character Education and students' disciplinary behavior with a significance value of 0.013 and a correlation strength of 0.229 (indicating a weak relationship); and 3) there is a relationship between P5 and Strengthening of Character Education combined with students' disciplinary behavior, with a significance value of 0.029 and a correlation strength of 0.246 (indicating a weak relationship). In conclusion, there is a significant yet weak relationship between P5 and Strengthening of Character Education and the disciplinary behavior of elementary school students.   Keywords: Character education, Disciplinary behavior, P5

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing a contextual learning model based on the fungal cultivation process on improving the knowledge and scientific attitudes of Grade X science students at MA Miftahul Ulum Suren in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the Posttest Only Control Design type. The research subjects consisted of two classes: the experimental class with 20 students and the control class with 20 students. The experimental class received instruction using a process-based contextual learning model, while the control class was taught using conventional methods. Data collection instruments included a posttest consisting of 10 essay questions to measure knowledge and an observation sheet to assess students' scientific attitudes. The results showed that the average knowledge level in the experimental class reached 82.5%, while the control class only achieved 71%. Regarding scientific attitudes, the experimental class scored an average of 3.8 (categorized as very good), whereas the control class scored 2.9 (categorized as good). In conclusion, the process-based contextual learning model is more effective in improving students’ knowledge and scientific attitudes, as it links learning materials to real-life contexts, encourages active student engagement, and fosters critical thinking and scientific skills.   Keywords: Fungal Cultivation, Knowledge, Process-Based Contextual Learning, Scientific Attitudes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mathematics learning outcomes of first grade students of SD Negeri 45 Lubuklinggau State Elementary School after the of the Card Sort Learning. The research method uses a pre-experimental design method with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The sampling technique uses a random sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a test. The test instrument used is in the form of an essay totaling 8 questions. Data were analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of the t-test analysis, it was obtained 5,3870) ≥ (1.729) so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the Implementation of the Card Sort Strategy on the Mathematics Learning Outcomes of Grade I Students of SD Negeri 45 Lubuklinggau significantly reaches the KKTP.   Keywords: Card sort, Learning outcomes, Mathematics, Strategy

Abstract

This study aims to describe the functions of parents in supporting children's learning success at PAUD Melati 08 Jakarta Timur, identify the supporting factors that enable parents to assist in the learning process, and explain the outcomes of parental functions in the success of early childhood education at PAUD Melati 08. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The research stages consisted of orientation, exploration, and member checking. Data analysis techniques involved data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The findings revealed that parents at PAUD Melati 08 performed their roles in various ways, such as maintaining active communication with children, providing emotional support, and assisting the learning process at home. Several factors supported parental involvement, including adequate educational background, stable family economic conditions, and a strong understanding of the importance of parental roles in children's education. This study concludes that parental involvement significantly contributes to children's learning success at PAUD Melati 08 Jakarta Timur. Children who receive consistent attention and support from their parents demonstrate more stable cognitive, motor, language, and emotional development.   Keywords: Parental function, Learning success, PAUD

Abstract

This study aims to develop animated video learning media on the topic “Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya” for fourth-grade students at SDN Wukirsari. The research method employed was Research and Development (R&D) using the adapted ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The research subjects were fourth-grade students of SDN Wukirsari. Based on the analysis conducted by three experts—language expert, media expert, and material expert—it was found that the animated video learning media met the “High” validity category with an average score of 0.85. Furthermore, the analysis of student and teacher assessment sheets indicated that the media was categorized as “very practical” with an average score of 82.95. The effectiveness analysis, based on pre-test and post-test results, showed an improvement with an average N-Gain score of 0.73, which falls into the high category. In conclusion, the animated video learning media on “Indonesiaku Kaya Budaya” is valid, practical, and effective, and thus can be used in the learning process.   Keywords: animated video, elementary school, social studies
