Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pengaruh Perceraian Orang Tua terhadap pendidikan anak di Desa Lamea Kecematan Wewiku Kabupaten Malaka. Penelitian ini menggunaka metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Desa Lamea, Kecematan Wewiku, Kabupaten Malaka, dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 185 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 40 orang, Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kuesioner dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ada pengaruh perceraian orang tua terhadap pendidikan anak di Desa Lamea Kecematan Wewiku Kabupaten Malaka. Karena berdasarkan hasil penelitian, F tabel 0,05 = 0.312 > F hitung 0,05 = 170.264, maka hipotesis Ha ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara perceraian orang tua terhadap pendidikan anak. Dengan adanya pengaruh perceraian orang tua terhadap pendidikan anak. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik F hitung < F tabel. Hal ini berarti membuktikan bahwa dengan adanya perceraian orang tua dapat berdampak pada pendidikan anak. This study aims to determine the effect of parental divorce on children's education in Lamea Village, Wewiku District, Malaka Regency. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method. This study was located in Lamea Village, Wewiku District, Malaka Regency, with a population of 185 people. The sample in this study was 40 people. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used in the study was a questionnaire and the data analysis technique used was simple linear regression. The results of the study showed the effect of parental divorce on children's education in Lamea Village, Wewiku District, Malaka Regency. Because based on the results of the study, F table 0.05 = 0.312> F count 0.05 = 170,264, then the hypothesis Ha there is a significant effect between parental divorce on children's education. With the influence of parental divorce on children's education. Based on statistical calculations F count <F table. This means that it proves that parental divorce can have an impact on children's education.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitiannya adalah 1. Menjelaskan bentuk tarian likurai masyarakat desa tesa kecamatan laen manen Kabupaten malaka, 2. Menjelaskan fungsi tarian likurai masyarakat desa tesa kecamatan laen manen kabupaten malaka, 3. Menjelaskan makna tarian likurai masyarakat desa tesa kecamatan laen manen kabupaten malaka. Dengan menggunakan teori semiotik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tarian likurai dapat dilaksanakan untuk penyambutan tamu penting, upacara adat, pertunjukan seni, dan festival budaya. Bentuk tarian likurai adalah bentuk garis sejajar dan bentuk lingkaran, Makna tarian likurai adalah makna penghormatan, makna religius,  dan makna ungkapan syukur, fungsi tarian likurai adalah fungsi menghibur merupakan, fungsi menjodohkan, gotong royong, dan memuliakan Tuhan adalah menyangkut kepercayaan manusia kepada Tuhan. The purpose of the study is 1. To explain the form of the likurai dance of the Tesa village community, Laen Manen sub-district, Malaka Regency, 2. To explain the function of the likurai dance of the Tesa village community, Laen Manen sub-district, Malaka Regency, 3. To explain the meaning of the likurai dance of the Tesa village community, Laen Manen sub-district, Malaka Regency. By using semiotic theory. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that the likurai dance can be performed to welcome important guests, traditional ceremonies, art performances, and cultural festivals. The form of the likurai dance is the form of parallel lines and the shape of a circle, The meaning of the likurai dance is the meaning of respect, religious meaning, and the meaning of expressing gratitude, the function of the likurai dance is the function of entertaining, the function of matching, mutual cooperation, and glorifying God is related to human belief in God.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa menulis argumentasi dengan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada siswa kelas IX F SMP Negeri 1 Kota Kupang Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Manfaat dalam penelitian ini adalah, bagi guru: peneliti memberikan wawasan baru bagi guru tentang bagaimana merancang pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Bagi siswa: siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan menulis argumentasi yang baik. Bagi peneliti: peneliti dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan pengetahuan khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan bahasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa SMP Negeri 1 Kota Kupang cukup terampil dalam kemampuan menulis argumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan menurut standar pengukuran dalam hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 1 Kota Kupang diketahui bahwa tingkat kemampuan dalam menulis argumantasi dikategorikan cukup terampil dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata 68,75. This study aims to describe students' ability to write arguments with a problem-based learning model for class IX F students of SMP Negeri 1 Kota Kupang in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The benefits of this study are, for teachers: researchers provide new insights for teachers on how to design problem-based learning. For students: students can develop good argumentative writing skills. For researchers: researchers can contribute to the development of knowledge, especially in the field of language education. The results of the study showed that students of SMP Negeri 1 Kota Kupang were quite skilled in their ability to write arguments. Based on the results of data analysis and according to the measurement standards in the learning outcomes of students of SMP Negeri 1 Kota Kupang, it is known that the level of ability in writing arguments is categorized as quite skilled with an average score of 68.75.

Abstract

This research explores the cultural, semiotic, and social meanings embedded in the traditional song "Boablingin", which originates from the Helong tribe of East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. As part of a rich oral tradition, the song plays a vital role not only in preserving musical heritage but also in transmitting values, beliefs, and the Helong people's worldview. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through documentation studies, in-depth interviews with local elders, and textual analysis of the lyrics. The findings reveal that Boablingin contains symbolic representations of nature, love, community solidarity, and ancestral reverence. These elements reflect the interconnectedness between humans and the environment, a fundamental aspect of Helong cosmology. Moreover, the song functions as a cultural text that reinforces ethnic identity, strengthens intergenerational transmission, and resists cultural erosion in the face of modernization. This study not only contributes to the preservation of intangible cultural heritage, but also offers a model for integrating semiotic analysis and ethnographic approaches in the study of indigenous music traditions.

Abstract

This study explores the "Function, Meaning, and Value of the Death Speech of the Dawan Ethnic Group in South Pene Village, Kolbano Subdistrict, South Central Timor Regency." The death speech is a central element of funeral rituals, serving as a medium for cultural, social, and spiritual expression. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis is grounded in cultural linguistics, Jakobson’s theory of language functions, and Alisjahbana’s classification of values. Findings reveal that death speech performs multiple essential functions: guiding the soul to the ancestral realm (spiritual), uniting the community in mourning (social), affirming inheritance rights (customary), conveying moral lessons (educational), and preserving cultural identity (cultural). It embodies symbolic, religious, historical, and genealogical meanings and reflects the core values of Dawan life. The study concludes that death speech is not merely a traditional practice but a vital form of intangible cultural heritage that must be preserved and passed on to future generations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Bermain Peran Untuk Mencegah Perilaku Bullying Di Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Kota  Kupang. Penelitian ini menggunaka metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SMA Negeri 2 Kota Kupang. Dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 396 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 36 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kuesioner dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ada Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Bermain Peran Untuk Mencegah Perilaku Bullying Di Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Kota Kupang.  Karena berdasarkan hasil penelitian, F tabel   0,05 = 4.11 > F hitung 0,05 = 396.418 maka hipotesis Ha ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran bermain peran terhadap perilaku bullying. Dengan adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran bermain peran untuk mencegah perilaku bullying. Berdasarkan perhitungan statistik F hitung < F tabel. Hal ini berarti membuktikan bahwa dengan adanya  model pembelajaran bermain peran dapat berdampak pada perilaku bullying. This study aims to determine the Influence of Role-Playing Learning Model to Prevent Bullying Behavior in Class XI of SMA Negeri 2 Kupang City. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method. This study was located at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang City. With a population of 396 students. The sample in this study was 36 students. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used in the study was a questionnaire and the data analysis technique used was simple linear regression. The results of the study showed the Influence of Role-Playing Learning Model to Prevent Bullying Behavior in Class XI of SMA Negeri 2 Kupang City. Because based on the results of the study, F table 0.05 = 4.11> F count 0.05 = 396,418 then the hypothesis Ha there is a significant influence between the role-playing learning model and bullying behavior. With the influence of the role-playing learning model to prevent bullying behavior. Based on the statistical calculation F count <F table. This means that the existence of a role-playing learning model can have an impact on bullying behavior.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Bagaimana Dampak Penggunaan WhatsApp Terhadap Karakter Siswa Di SMP Negeri 1 Kota Kupang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Smp Negeri 1 Kota Kupang, Jl. Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes No. 30, Kelurahan Oetete, Kecamatan Oebobo Kota Kupang, dengan jumlah subjek penelitian terdiri dari 5 orang yaitu 1 guru Bimbingan Dan Konseling dan 4 orang siswa yang mengalami permasalah terkait pengguanaan WhatsApp. Data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan WhatsApp di SMP Negeri 1 Kota Kupang berdampak beragam terhadap karakter siswa, berdasarkan wawancara dengan 1 orang guru Bimbingan Dan Konseling dan 4 orang siswa kelas VIII-I dengan hasil yang positif. Melalui wawancara tersebut penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan WhatsApp berpengaruh terhadap karakter siswa, terutama dalam hal kedisiplinan, tanggung jawab, maupun cara berkomunikasi. Besar kecilnya pengaruh tersebut sangat bergantung pada sejauh mana pengawasan yang diberikan oleh guru dan orang tua dalam mengarahkan penggunaan aplikasi tersebut oleh siswa. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of WhatsApp usage on student character at SMP Negeri 1 Kupang City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. This study was located at Smp Negeri 1 Kupang City, Jl. Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes No. 30, Oetete Village, Oebobo District, Kupang City, with the number of research subjects consisting of 5 people, namely 1 Guidance and Counseling teacher and 4 students who experienced problems related to the use of WhatsApp. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the use of WhatsApp at SMP Negeri 1 Kupang City has various impacts on student character, based on interviews with 1 Guidance and Counseling teacher and 4 students of grade VIII-I with positive results. Through these interviews the author can conclude that the use of WhatsApp influences student character, especially in terms of discipline, responsibility, and communication methods. The extent of this influence depends greatly on the extent of supervision provided by teachers and parents in directing the use of the application by students.

Abstract

The primary aim is to assess students' understanding and application of punctuation rules while identifying common challenges faced in their writing. Employing a qualitative methods approach, data were gathered through writing samples and surveys to provide a comprehensive evaluation of punctuation skills. Findings reveal varying levels of proficiency, with notable difficulties in fundamental punctuation rules that adversely impact overall writing quality. The analysis highlights patterns of struggle and the effectiveness of current instructional practices. The discussion emphasizes the need for targeted pedagogical strategies to address these gaps, advocating for practical exercises and personalized feedback in the curriculum. Overall, this research contributes valuable insights into punctuation proficiency, offering recommendations to enhance writing skills and instructional methods, ultimately shaping competent future educators and enriching the educational experience.
