Abstract

The problem in this study is the low self-concept of students which results in students becoming less confident, often comparing themselves with others, and not being able to identify themselves. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group guidance services by using psychodrama techniques to develop students’ positive self-concept. This study uses a quantitative experimental method with a one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study is all students of class X (ten) MAN Dairi totaling 224 students with a sample of 8 (eight) students who have a low positive self-concept taken using a purposive sampling technique using a non-test instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis used was the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test with the results obtained an asymp significance value. Sig (2-tailed) is smaller (<) than 0.05, which is the significance value of asymp. Sig (2-tailed) of 0.012. The results obtained from the Wilcoxon signed rank test showed that group guidance services with psychodrama techniques were effective in developing students’ positive self-concept. The novelty of the research conducted by the researcher lies in psychodrama techniques in the context of group guidance for students. Although psychodrama has been used in a variety of therapeutic settings, its application in group guidance in schools is still rarely studied, and the circumstances after the findings can be seen that positive self-concept skills in students have increased compared to before.

Abstract

This study was motivated by a significant increase in the number of complaints against the insurance industry, especially cases of claim default in 2018-2022. The purpose of the study was to measure and analyze the effectiveness of policyholder protection at AJB Bumiputera 1912 Medan through a regulatory effectiveness approach as variable x is the legal factor itself, law enforcement factors, facilities or facilities, community factors, and cultural factors. The research method is descriptive quantitative. Primary data was obtained from questionnaires and interviews. While secondary data is in the form of documentation studies, in the form of Articles of Association, general conditions of the policy, and laws and regulations that support the research. The results of the study on respondents’ responses show that all indicators of factors affecting the achievement of regulatory effectiveness have a fairly high percentage. However, it should be noted that the factors that produce ineffective percentages are 62.45% for law enforcement factors and 60.14% for community factors. Both factors are caused by the late presence of laws that clearly regulate the form of joint ventures, No. 4 of 2023 concerning Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (P2SK), where it is stated in article 53 paragraph 2e: “distribution of profits and losses on Joint Venture activities for members”.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the mental health of students from broken home backgrounds. The method used in this study was qualitative descriptive research with a total population of class VII A-C of 105 students and a sample of 6 students. The results of the study showed that disharmonious, unstable, messy family conditions (broken home) can cause the development of unhealthy personalities in children. The form of mental health in question includes aspects of emotion, responsibility and sociability of children. Students admitted that they had vented their emotions on objects around them and even experienced trauma due to physical violence when dealing with their mothers so that the students decided to work after school. In addition, students also felt depressed and considered a burden on the family so that every problem they faced only chose to keep to themselves so that it had a bad impact on their academics, so that serious handling was needed such as providing counseling guidance.

Abstract

Airports are very dynamic and complex environments, making them high-risk places for incidents and accidents, both due to the aircraft's movement and to the building facilities or structures at the airport. Emergency service personnel must have high skills in emergency response, quick decision-making abilities, and a deep understanding of the various dangerous situations that may be encountered in the field. Continuous education and training are essential to ensure their readiness and ability to deal with emergencies. This study aims to develop Virtual Reality-based Search and Rescue learning media to improve the skills and understanding of training participants in search and rescue operations. This learning media is designed to provide a realistic and interactive simulation experience, allowing participants to practice rescue procedures in various dangerous scenarios without real risk. The development methods used in this study include the stages of needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation (ADDIE). At the analysis stage, the identification of training needs and competencies that must be achieved is carried out. The design stage involves designing Virtual Reality scenarios that cover various field conditions and rescue techniques. Effectiveness is evaluated by measuring the increase in skills and understanding of participants before and after using Virtual Reality media. The study results indicate that this learning media effectively improves the operational and decision-making skills of training participants in emergency situations. The feasibility assessment by media experts obtained an average score of 88.72%. Then, the feasibility assessment by material experts obtained an average score of 88.90%. After conducting a product trial on students, the evaluation results were 81.30%. Based on the results of the validation and trial of this product, Virtual Reality-based learning media can be recommended as an innovative and efficient training tool for Search and Rescue learning media.

The Minister of Education and Culture’s policy through Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 3 of 2020 concerning Higher Education Standards regarding Independent Learning on Independent Campuses (MBKM) seeks to give students the freedom to study in higher education as a form of learning innovation to obtain quality learning. The aim of the research is to find out how the existence of independent learning campus management education at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Bengkulu, can be implemented well and what is the theory and practice in the learning process as seen from the four management functions, namely planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring, which is usually abbreviated as POAC. This research is research with social and dynamic problems so that the researcher determines the use of descriptive qualitative research to search, collect, process, and analyze research data. The data sources in this research or those referred to as informants, are Deputy Dean 1 of FKIP UMB, Head of Study Program within FKIP, and students. Then non-human data sources include field notes, documents, and recorded interviews. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it is known that overall, it has gone quite well. However, from the evaluation results, there were still several problems encountered, especially regarding the conversion of grades from the MBKM program that students participated in. Abstract

The development of e-commerce has changed consumer behavior. With the presence of e-commerce, many habits have changed, starting from previous shopping habits in offline stores, now switching to shopping at online stores using shopping sites and applications such as Shopee, because it makes it easier for consumers to make buying and selling transactions online. However, Shopee, which is a consumer favorite, has several problems, including some consumers who buy products at Shopee feeling disappointed because the goods purchased do not match expectations, thus affecting consumer buying intentions. Several previous studies have shown that there is a relationship between consumer trust and purchasing decisions. This study uses descriptive quantitative research using multiple linear regression analysis. The subjects of this research are Shopee consumers. The variables used in this study are consumer product knowledge, trust, risk perception and reviews as moderating variables. The results of the research show that consumer product knowledge has a positive but not significant effect on Shopee consumers’ purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the variables of trust, risk perception and reviews have a significant positive effect on Shopee consumers’ purchase intentions. Then the review variable is not able to moderate the relationship between consumer product knowledge and purchase intention. However, reviews are able to moderate the relationship between trust, risk perception and purchase intention.

Abstract

Learning to write a thesis is not only about getting a degree, but also about developing valuable skills and knowledge for an academic and professional future. Thesis allows students to develop their research skills. They learn about research methodology, data analysis, and constructing strong arguments. Writing a thesis requires a deep understanding of the chosen topic. This encourages students to become experts in their field of study. This service is in the form of training for students that aims to provide them with provisions to be able to write a good thesis. The service method used is presentation and discussion, where participants listen to presentations from speakers and then continue with discussions. Participants who take part in this service are students of STIESNU Bengkulu. The results of this service are expected that participants will be able to write a good thesis. This training has a major impact on improving the abilities of participants, namely students, in writing a thesis. The abilities of the participants have improved in writing a thesis, both in terms of presenting an interesting introduction, presenting a systematic literature review, being able to determine the right research method to answer the formulation of problems and research objectives, being able to present research results and compile relevant discussions, interpretations and implementations, and being able to make relevant conclusions and recommendations to users and further researchers.
