Abstract

This Community Service Program is implemented to assist Agro Zulfa Garden MSMEs in developing digital marketing strategies for organic agricultural products. Partners face various obstacles, such as limited use of social media, not having a website and e-commerce account, and not having a business legality in the form of a Business Identification Number (NIB). This activity includes training in creating e-commerce accounts, designing and implementing websites using WordPress, creating promotional banners, and assisting in issuing NIBs through the OSS platform. The methods used in this activity include submitting a permit letter to the relevant agency as an initial administrative step, field observations to understand business conditions and challenges faced by MSME actors, and direct interviews with MSME owners to obtain more in-depth information about their needs and obstacles in terms of digital marketing. The results of the activity show that partners are able to understand the importance of digital marketing and already have more professional promotional facilities. It is recommended that there be periodic follow-up training, ongoing cooperation between universities, local governments, and MSME actors, and increasing digital literacy through mentoring and learning modules that are easily accessible to MSME actors. This program contributes to expanding market reach and increasing Agro Zulfa Garden's competitiveness in a sustainable manner. Abstract

Kemampuan numerasi pelajar sangat penting untuk menangani masalah matematika yang muncul dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Hasil PISA dan penelitian ahli menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan numerasi siswa Indonesia sangat rendah. Dalam Revolusi Industri 4.0, teknologi dalam pendidikan matematika sangat penting. Teknologi dalam pendidikan tidak semata-mata bergantung pada alat dan aplikasinya, tetapi juga pada bagaimana guru menggunakannya. PkM ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru dan calon guru matematika memperkuat numerasi dan literasi digital. Perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi adalah tahapan kegiatan PkM ini. PkM ini dilaksanakan secara online melalui pertemuan Zoom. Materi yang disampaikan adalah numerasi dan literasi digital matematika. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi melalui pretest, posttest, angket literais digital, dan angket kepuasan kegiatan, diperoleh dampak pelatihan bagi peserta yaitu (1) Penguatan materi numerasi memiliki dampak positif terhadap pemahaman konsep numerasi peserta PkM. Hal ini terlihat dari persentase dari jumlah peserta yang menjawab benar pada posttest lebih banyak daripada persentase jumlah peserta yang menjawab benar pada pretest; (2) Penguatan materi literasi digital memiliki dampak positif terhadap keterampilan digital (digital skill) peserta. Hal ini terlihat dari angket literasi digital yang menunjukkan indikator digital skill mendapatkan nilai tertinggi dibandingkan dengan tiga indikator literasi digital lainnya; (3) Pelatihan memberikan motivasi bagi guru dan calon guru untuk merancang pembelajaran yang mendukung kemampuan numerasi siswa dan mengintegrasikan teknologi ke dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Basal stem rot and upper stem rot of oil palms caused by Ganoderma boninense are important oil palm diseases faced by oil palm plantations in Indonesia. For many years, basal stem rot was found to infect older oil palms that were more than 25 to 30 years old, but the disease began to appear in oil palms that were 10 to 15 years old and was even found infecting oil palm nurseries. Community service will be carried out in October 2023 in Gunung Ambat village, Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency. The aim of this service is for the public to receive information about prevention and actions that will be taken by smallholder oil palm plantation farmers in the Sei Bingai sub-district, Langkat Regency. The expected target is for the community to distinguish attacks caused by G. boninense so that prevention can be carried out early and there is no decline in people's palm oil production. The community service method is carried out through lectures, discussions, and direct visits to people's oil palm plantations. The implementation of service activities was carried out in preparation by coordinating with community leaders and extension workers, as well as the implementation unit of the Sei Bingai sub-district agricultural service, Langkat Regency. Carrying out lectures and discussions with a team of lecturers and students targeting smallholder oil palm plantation farmers.

Abstract

Real Work Lectures are a form of community service by going directly to the field carried out by students accompanied by field supervisors. In providing serving to Sesulu Village, an outreach was carried out and the delivery of fire extinguishing aids was carried out. The aim of the service carried out is to increase student’s awareness of the risk of danger wherever we are, as well as handing over Light Fire Extinguishers to the SMK Negeri 4 PPU School.

Abstract

Teaching and learning to count is an important activity to create a sense of wanting to understand the fun world of numbers so that children can feel enthusiastic and interested in learning to count. The aim of teaching and learning to count is to understand addition and subtraction, create a new playing learning atmosphere, and also provide learning facilities such as an abacus, reading books, and bookshelves. There are two methods used in teaching and learning activities, namely, the learning and playing methods, where the learning method is carried out using reading books and an abacus, while the playing method is carried out by holding quizzes. By holding teaching and learning activities, preschool children can better further develop their interest and talent in counting. Thus, it is hoped that this activity can provide benefits fot preschool children in the future, starting from developing academic, achievement, knowledge, memory, and speed in calculating.

Abstract

The problem faced by the teachers at the MTsS Nurul Qur’an Bireuen Districts, Aceh is lack of the teachers’ knowledge and creativity in developing the teaching media as the tools of teaching learning process in the classroom. Based on the problem above, the community service aims to give the new knowledge and experience for the teachers at MTsS Nurul Qur’an Bireuen Districts in developing the teaching media by their creativity using the plastic bag. The method used in this community service was giving training to the teachers which come from the different subjects. The training was done in two sessions for a day. In this activity, the teachers were trained to make the teaching media from the used plastic bag. The result of the community service activity was done successfully and the teachers got the new knowledge in creating the teaching media.

Abstract

The awareness of Micro, Small Enterprises (MSEs) to have business legality is one of the problems that often occurs in various regions. The Indonesia government is committed to providing convenience in both processes and requirements, one of which is that MSEs only need to have a Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB). However, the problem that actually occurs is that not all MSEs understand the use of information technology in submitting NIB. The aim of this community service is to to increase understanding of the importance of business legality for MSEs, as well as providing assistance in submitting business legality online. As a result of this service activity, MSEs are aware of the importance of business legality, MSEs will have a Business Identification Number (NIB) as proof of business legality. The long-term benefit expected from legal business ownership is that MSEs gain access to financial institutions to obtain additional capital

Abstract

Adolescence is a time full of change. The first stage that marks maturity or puberty in girls is experiencing onset or menstruation. Menstruation, or what is better known as menstruation, is the shedding of the uterine wall, which consists of blood and body tissue (Fatmawati et al., 2016). Another definition can also be interpreted as a natural cycle that occurs regularly to prepare a woman's body every month. The average woman's menstrual period is 3-8 days, with an average cycle of 28 days each month. Every woman experiences different experiences. Some women experience menstruation without any complaints, but quite a few of them experience menstruation with complaints, causing discomfort in carrying out an activity. One of the complaints during menstruation is dysmenorrhea, which occurs during menstruation or after menstruation. Abstract

Personal Branding is a way to market that is really needed, especially in the current era of digital society. Through Personal Branding, someone can highlight the advantages and uniqueness of each media user. Considering the importance of personal branding and understanding social media, this need is implemented in Community Service activities with the theme Personal Branding Content Creator on Social Media for Students of Prima Unggul Vocational School, Tangerang City. A content creator needs to consider engagement, awareness, personnal branding so that the storyline you want to convey can attract attention. Understanding social media as a medium is very important for portfolios to find out students' talents as a means to find job vacancies or open an independent business after they graduate from school. This is in accordance with the vision of Prima Unggul Vocational School, Tangerang City, including increasing the competency of students who are ready to enter the world of work in the national and global markets. Increasing the competence of students who are able to keep up with the latest technological developments. In this community service, apart from introducing the importance of personal branding, they also explain the characteristics of social media which are the basis for building awareness and engagement on the accounts they manage. Training on how to manage social media to build personal branding is useful for students. Digital traces will not be lost, so students' social media accounts must contain positive and useful content for themselves and their followers.

Abstract

Excessive and continuous use of chemical/inorganic fertilizers can cause a decrease in soil fertility levels, disruption of biodiversity, and increased pest attacks, so it is recommended that we return to using organic fertilizers whose ingredients we can get from the surrounding environment, such as banana tuber waste. This activity aims to find out how to make liquid organic fertilizer by utilizing banana tuber waste/garbage that the people of Ngada Regency find useless and use as organic fertilizer to reduce chemical fertilizers. The stages of making liquid organic fertilizer from banana humps are providing a presentation and discussion about liquid organic fertilizer, preparation of tools and materials, and procedures for making liquid organic fertilizer (POC). The result of this activity is to provide special skills and knowledge for vocational students of SMKN I Komba City who are directly involved in making POC from banana tubers.
