Abstract

Pondok pesantren adalah tempat berkumpulnya banyak orang dimana rentan terjadi penularan penyakit, terutama yang sedang berkembang saat ini, yakni Co-19. Gejala gangguan pernapasan akut seperti demam, batuk dan sesak napas adalah tanda awal karena port d’entre COVID adalah melalui saluran napas dan mukosa. Pada kasus yang berat bisa terdapat infeksi paru-paru yang masif, sindrom pernapasan akut, gagal ginjal, dan bahkan kematian. Disaat pandemi semua sekolah mulai dibuka dengan pembelajaran tatap muka, termasuk pondok pensantren Al Fitrah tetap dibuka dengan pengaturan protokol kesehatan yang ketat untuk mencegah terjadinya penularan Covid-19. Untuk menjaga kesehatan para santri dan pengasuh pondok perlu diperhatikan suplemen untuk meningkatkan imunitas. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan imunitas dengan mengkonsumsi herbal kunyit yang kaya antioksidan. Namun, pemahaman santri dan lingkungan pondok mengenai manfaat herbal sebagai suplemen masih kurang. Kurangnya pemahaman tentang tanaman herbal akan berdampak terjadinya penolakan atau keragu raguan masyarakat terhadap kasiat tanaman herbal. Sehingga dapat berdampak pada kurangnya pengoptimalan herbal di lingkungan pondok pesantren. Metode: Dilaksanakan evaluasi pre-test dan post-test untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahun pra dan pasca sosialisasi. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil pre-test dan post-test mengenai pemanfaatan tanaman herbal melalui kuesioner secara langsung terjadi peningkatan nilai oleh santri yang mengikuti kegiatan ini. Abstract

Sustainable development goals (SDGs) involve civil society and other organizations. All health issues in the SDGs are integrated into one goal, such as ensuring a healthy life and promoting well-being for all people. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of Indonesian immigrants in Zagreb, Croatia, about gastrointestinal disorders related to mental health issues in order to achieve a healthy life. This community service started by analyzing the status of the immigrants' health in Zagreb under the coordination of Bjelovar University and public pharmacy in Bjelovar. This event was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Zagreb, Croatia. The event was continued by socialization about gastrointestinal disorders and the use of herbs and medicines. This event was attended by 35 participants aged 30 to 50 years old. The participants acknowledge the mental health issues that can cause various disorders, such as gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes mellitus and many more. Based on the event, it is known that more than 65% of participants understood about healthy lifestyle, the use of multivitamins and medicines, and also about the metabolic disorder. Overall, this activity increased participants' understanding of gastrointestinal disorders and mental health and promoted a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to improve the quality of PAUD teacher services through strengthening the growth mindset. Excellent service quality is a mainstay for the sustainability of private PAUD which must continue to be improved so that public trust is maintained. The lack of knowledge regarding service components that need to be managed strategically is a problem in improving service quality. This community service activity was carried out at PAUD Gandaria, North Bogor. The activity began with an FGD mapping school conditions, objective reflection, a growth mindset and service quality workshop, identification and elaboration of the potential of the school environment, strengthening commitment to improving services, ending with practices for improving service quality. The result of the activity is strengthening openness of perspective and improving service quality.

Abstract

This community service was carried out between the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, Unisnu Jepara and PCI Fatayat NU Malaysia. There are three aspects to the problem of this service: 1) The world's need for Da'wah in the style of Ahlis Sunnah wal Jama'ah; 2) The need for empowering resources and human resources related to materials, strategies, media, recognition and opportunities for preaching in the style of Ahlis Sunnah wal Jama'ah; 3) Empowering skills, initiation, innovation, collaboration opportunities, communication and problem solving formulations for Islamic da'wah problems that occur in parts of the world, so that Ahlis Sunnah wal Jama'ah style da'wah can become a universal movement. Through community service, the solutions offered are 1) Forming a "Universal Movement" for preaching in the style of Ahlis Sunnah wal Jama'ah an-Nahdliyyah; 2) Discussing and setting common goals, providing information, discussion materials, supporting self-development, formulating recognition and opportunities for universal movement; 4) Building the power of exploration, innovation and joint initiation; 5) Strengthen collaboration opportunities between Fadakom Unisnu Jepara and PCI Fatayat NU Malaysia; 6) Carry out synergy in developing da'i/da'iyah skills in various parts of the world.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out in Banjararum Village, Kapanewon Kalibawang, Kulon Progo Regency, DIY, on November 4 2023 aim to provide solutions to the problems faced by three Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), namely the Punthuk Ngepoh Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis). , Srikandi Farming Women's Group (KWT), and Gapoktan Ngudi Makmur. The problems faced include the absence of an optimal electricity network, the absence of infographic information/spatial plans for the Punthuk Ngepoh Tourist Attraction, the absence of a digital marketing platform, the absence of cassava cutting tools, lack of water in agricultural areas during the dry season, manure from livestock which causes disturbances in the form of unpleasant odors and there is no management of livestock manure. The solutions include repair and development of solar panels as well as the process of exploring springs in Punthuk Ngepoh to be used as a tourism support facility, the application of TTG in the form of a cassava cutting tool, and the application of TTG in the form of gasification in the coconut oil extraction process. Community service activities in the Banjararum District have provided solutions to the problems faced by the three NGOs. It is hoped that the solutions offered can boost the community's economy through programs created by the NGO.

Abstract

The health of Indonesian immigrants working in Malaysia is a concern due to difficulties in obtaining health and medical facilities. Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) are increasing rapidly in Indonesia and Malaysia due to unhealthy lifestyles and eating patterns. The aim of this service is to increase awareness of Indonesian immigrants in Malaysia, especially at Sanggar Guidance (SB) Sungai Mulia 5, Gombak, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This service begins with situation analysis, health outreach, assistance with medication use and evaluation of understanding regarding NCDs. Based on the results of health outreach and medical check-ups, it is known that as many as 70% of immigrants experience high blood pressure; 60% experienced high blood sugar; 30% experienced high uric acid and 57.5% experienced hypercholesterolemia. The results of the evaluation of the use of supplements and herbs to prevent NCDs showed that more than 70% of participants had an understanding of metabolic diseases, symptoms of NCDs, lifestyle improvements, processing and use of herbs, use of multivitamins, use of medication from a doctor (if they had received therapy). This activity can support information on health status and increase understanding regarding the use of medicines and herbs among Indonesian immigrants in Malaysia.

Abstract

Communicative competence in a foreign language is very important to prepare students to face global era. However, MA NU Hasyim Asyari students got difficulties in mastering foreign languages. They struggle to express ideas or thoughts in speaking skills, both in English and Arabic. This was due to the lack of supporting media to help explore ideas, and the use of conventional method.  The aim of this study is to enhance foreign language skills through developing material using Digital Mind Mapping (DiBi-MM). The implementation was carried out by initial stage; coordination and socialization. Next step was training and mentoring, as well as evaluation. Traning and mentoring were conducted through brainstorming, discussions, and hands-on practice of using the media, menawhile evaluation was conducted using Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and questionnaires. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and oral tests. The number of participants in thisprogram were 20 people. The results showed that 75% of the participants were increased in having knowledge and skill in operating DiBi-MM. It can be concluded that DiBi-MM is effective in supporting foreign language learning and is recommended for use in classroom learning processes.  AbstrakKemampuan berkomunikasi dalam bahasa asing sangat penting untuk mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan global. Namun, siswa MA NU Hasyim Asyari mengalami kesulitan dalam penguasaan bahasa asing. Siswa mengalami kendala dalam menyampaikan ide atau gagasan dalam kemampuan berbicara baik dalam bahasa Inggris maupun bahasa Arab. Hal ini dikarenakan belum adanya media penunjang untuk membantu mengeksplor gagasan dan metode yang digunakan masih konvensional. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa asing melalui pengembangan materi menggunakan aplikasi Digital Mind Mapping (DiBi-MM). Metode Pelaksanaan meliputi tahap persiapan berupa koordinasi dan sosialisasi, tahap pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Tahap pelatihan dilakukan dengan brainstorming dan diskusi serta praktik langsung penggunaan media, sedangkan pada evaluasi dilaksanakan melalui Focus Group Discussion dan kuesioner. Jumlah peserta pada pelatihan ini adalah 20 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan tes lisan. Hasil menunjukkan 75% peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra dalam menggunakan aplikasi DiBi-MM. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa DiBi-MM efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran bahasa asing dan direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

Wijaya’s Batik Jepara merupakan pengrajin batik yang mempunyai ciri khas tersendiri dibandingkan dengan pengrajin batik yang lain, yang bertempat di Desa Tegalsambi Wijaya’s Batik Jepara memproduksi batik dengan mengangkat motif perang obor sebagai salah satu bentuk pelestarian budaya desa. Awalnya Wijaya’s Batik Jepara masih menggunakan metode manual, yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik canting tulis yang membuat harga jual batik dipasaran terbilang mahal. Kemudian KKN Kelompok 81 membantu memecahkan masalah yaitu dengan membuatkan canting cap kertas motif perang obor dari limbah kertas. Tujuan diadakannya pengabdian masyarakat ini yakni meningkatkan produksi batik dengan pembuatan canting cap kertas motif perang obor, dan juga meningkatkan daya tarik masyarakat supaya Wijaya’s Batik Jepara lebih dikenal masyarakat umum baik di tingkat Nasional maupun Internasional. Dan ketika ada pesanan, pelanggan akan menerima harga batik motif perang obor dari Wijaya’s Batik Jepara dengan harga murah, karena sudah tersedia canting cap kertas motif perang obor.

Abstract

This service activity is part of a series of community services in Mlese Village, Klaten Regency, Central Java. The potential of this village includes the availability of a fairly large agricultural land but has not been optimally utilized. So far, it has only been planted with rice. In line with the village program in 2023-2024, namely forming an Agroedutourism Village, by carrying out three fields in it, namely: Agriculture, Education, and Tourism. In order to realize all three, training, workshops, and mentoring are gradually held for the Mlese village community, especially for the Women Farmers Group. All members of KWT Mlese village followed the whole series seriously, so that 90% of the members were able and had applied the knowledge gained from the resource persons. This can be seen by starting to see plants of long beans, chilies, cassava, tomatoes, cobbage.

Abstract

Kota Kudus menjadi kota yang menarik untuk dikunjungi oleh para wisatawan yang menyukai wisata religi. Hal ini disebabkan kabupaten Kudus sebagai salah satu kabupaten pusat pembelajaran agama Islam di tanah Jawa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode ABCD (Asset Based Community Development). Metode ini merupakan metode dengan model pendekatan dalam mengembangkan masyarakat.  Pendekatan atau metode ini menekankan pada inventarisasi aset atau potensi aset yang terdapat pada desa tersebut atau masyarakat. Pendekatan ABCD ini memiliki 5 tahapan, yaitu Discovery, Dream, Desain, Define dan Destine. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini dilakukan secara swa kelola. Pelaksanaan  kegiatan yang dilakukan pada tahun anggaran 2023 ini, pelaksanaannya diatur waktunya dalam tiga tahap diantaranya tahap pertama persiapan pelaksanaan, tahap kedua pelaksanaan pengabdian, tahap ketiga evaluasi. Capaian hasil kinerja pengabdian dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan “Manajemen Pengelolan Makam Wali sebagai Eduwisata Religi di Desa Krandon”, yaitu pihak pengelola makam dan masyarakat memahami pentingnya melakukan manajemen pengelolaan makam agar dapat menjadi eduwisata religi bagi desa Krandon.
