Abstract

Amentoflavone (1), a biflavonoid was isolated from leaves of Calophyllum inophyllum Linn. Isolation and purification of the compound used maceration and chromatography methods using Si-gell and sephadex LH-20. The structure was determined by UV, IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy includes HMQC/HMBC analysis and comparison with references.

Abstract

Satu senyawa biflavonoid yaitu amentoflavon (1) berhasil diisolasi dari daun tumbuhan nyamplung (Calophyllum inophyllum Linn). Ekstraksi menggunakan metode maserasi dan pemurnian dengan kromatografi kolom dengan fasa diam Si-gel dan sephadex LH-20. Elusidasi struktur menggunakan metode spektroskopi UV, IR, 1H dan 13 C NMR beserta HMQC dan HMBC. Hasil yang diperoleh dianalisis dan dibandingkan dengan data referensi.Kata kunci: Amentoflavon, biflavonoid, Calophyllum inophyllum, Daun

Abstract

Nowadays, people do not need to go to the library for searching knowledge or information. World has changed. We come to the new generation that so called as digital native generation. Information can be searched through the gadgets on hands which is connected to the internet. Then question comes, is the library still important? What should the library do? It is no wonder that most of the libraries have been decreasing its number of visitors as well as its number of books that out of the shells. This paper describes the characteristics of the digital native, people habit in learning and reading books.  It also summarizes some discussions among the heads of the three university libraries in Surabaya, i.e, Intitut Teknologi Sepuluh (ITS) Nopember Surabaya, Petra Christian University (PCU), Surabaya Universities (Ubaya). The results of the discussion show that library has to be changed so that they can accommodate the needs of the digital native. It is not only the place for borrowing books, but also the place for doing discussion, watching videos and listening to audios, and of course the online materials must be provided to encounter the decreasing visitors.

Abstract

Abstract

One aspect of library quality is as ?library as a place?. As the main aspect that influences customer satisfaction, the library as a place needs to get attention from the library including structuring the layout of library facilities. This study aims to determine the layout of library facilities according to the needs of the native digital generation at the Christian Petra University Library. If library facilities are arranged with a good layout, there will be an increase in productivity, work efficiency and will have an impact on customer satisfaction. The Head of the Library and/or structural officials were chosen as respondents because they were more aware of the relationship between the sections and understood the needs of the generation of digital natives currently served. The method used in this study is systematic layout planning by adopting the ARC (Activity Relationship Chart) technique to show the level of importance between departments/sections, and the results will be used as a replacement of flows between departments/sections. CRAFT is used as a computer simulation tool to improve facility layout (re-layout) by minimizing the moment of movement between facilities. The results showed that it was necessary to rearrange Petra?s UK library facilities on each floor, in which the results of this study was surely tested through a questionnaire for students who were digital native generation and were the largest users of the library.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Hiperurisemia merupakan salah satu faktor risiko terjadinya penyakit degeneratif dan kejadian sindrom metabolik. Perlu upaya untuk mendeteksi dini faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap hiperurisemia. Salah satu metode yang dapat dilakukan adalah pengukuran antropometri. Pengukuran yang dilakukan adalah pengukuran lingkar linggang dan indeks massa tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan lingkar pinggang dan indeks massa tubuh dengan kadar asam urat wanita usia di atas 50 tahun. Metode : Penelitian Observasional Analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Subjek sebanyak 51 orang wanita di wilayah puskesmas Gajah Mungkur berusia di atas 50 tahun. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan consecutive sampling. Pengambilan data karakteristik subjek dilakukan dengan wawancara, pengukuran lingkar pinggang dan indeks massa tubuh menggunakan metline, timbangan berat badan ketelitian 0,1 kg dan microtoise dengan ketelitian 0,1cm. Pemeriksaan kadar asam urat darah  sampel menggunakan metode kolorimetri . Uji normalitas menggunakan Kolmogorov Smirnov, analisis statistik menggunakan Chi Square dan Regresi logistik. Hasil : Kadar asam urat subjek sebanyak 54,90% (n=28) termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara lingkar pinggang, IMT, dan asupan purin terhadap kadar asam urat (p =0,000). Namun, faktor yang berpengaruh kuat terhadap peningkatan asam urat yaitu asupan purin dan IMT. Wanita usia di atas 50 tahun dengan asupan purin tinggi dan IMT tinggi memiliki risiko 3,602 dan 3,157 kali lebih besar untuk mengalami peningkatan asam urat.        Simpulan : Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara lingkar pinggang, IMT, dan asupan purin dengan kadar asam urat. Asupan purin memiliki pengaruh paling kuat terhadap kadar asam urat.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Wasting yang terjadi pada balita di Indonesia menjadi masalah kesehatan yang serius, prevalensinya di atas 10%. Kekurangan asupan zat gizi makro dan mikro merupakan penyebab utama kekurangan gizi kronis. intervensi gizi dengan Formula Ready to Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) yang dapat menurunkan kejadian balita kurus secara bermakna. RUTF adalah makanan padat berbentuk pasta. Kacang hijau dan ikan lele memiliki kandungan asam amino esensial yang tinggi dan berperan dalam pertumbuhan, pemeliharaan sel, mengganti jaringan rusak dan deposit jaringan otot. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian produk RUTF berbahan dasar tepung ikan lele dan tepung kacang hijau terhadap peningkatan berat badan balita wasting. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperiment dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan April tahun 2022 di Puskesmas Kertapati Palembang. Sampel pada penelitian ini dipilih secara Systematic Random Sampling dengan jumlah sampel 30 responden. Analisis data menggunakan paired sample t-test dengan selisih nilai rata-rata 0,35 kg (pvalue = 0,000).Hasil independent sample t-test didapatkan p-value = 0,000 yang menunjukkan bahwa artinya ada pengaruh pemberian RUTF Ready To Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) Berbahan Dasar Tepung Ikan Lele Dan Tepung Kacang Hijau Terhadap Berat Badan dalam meningkatkan Berat badan Balita Wasting.Kata kunci : berat badan, ikan lele, kacang hijau, RUTF, wasting

Abstract

Quality management is essential for the Center for Community Learning Activities (PKBM) as an entity that runs out-of-school education programs in packages A, B and C. One approach to quality management is the Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) model. This study aims to describe the PDCA model for PKBM quality management. The method used in this study is qualitative, with a descriptive approach and a literature study. Data were obtained from Google Scholar reference journal articles in the 2011-2022 publication period. Articles were searched using the Publish or Perish application with the "PDCA PKBM" keyword. The study results show that the PDCA approach is related to the quality management of an entity. PKBM has applied the PDCA concept in improving the quality management of its entities. The government must support improving PKBM quality management by implementing the PDCA approach. It is an effort to increase the effectiveness of monitoring and quality control activities and PKBM's contribution to increasing the Human Development Index (IPM)

Abstract

This research aims to identify non-formal education policies in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method. The research approach uses literature studies and a descriptive approach. Data was obtained from policy documents and reference journals. The research results show that at the macro level, the non-formal education policy is the 1945 Constitution, Law no. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System and Regional Regulations. Then, at the meso level, there is Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 49 of 2007 concerning Education Management Standards by Non-formal Education Units, Regulation of the Governor of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Province Number 67 of 2017 concerning the Implementation and Management of Non-formal Education, several Regent Regulations and Mayor Regulations. In the end, the policy at the micro level is the Mayor of Semarang City Regulation Number 18 of 2023 concerning Technical Guidelines for Providing Honorariums to Non-formal and Non-formal Religious Educators, Corpse Care Officers and Prosperity Officers in Places of Worship. The government, regional heads, and legislators need to pay attention to non-formal education policies at the macro, meso, and micro levels so that the contribution of non-formal education is more optimal in creating superior and competitive human resources.

Abstract

Abstract.  This article aims to understand the significance of multicultural education studies and to what extent its application is in the educational perspective in Indonesia. The method used in making this article is a literature study or library research by taking relevant reference sources and interpreting them in our own language. Multicultural education uses the constructivism learning theory approach, which has features relevant to multicultural education activities that are active, adaptive, and contextual. In general, it can be concluded that with the broad scope of areas and diversity in Indonesia compared to other countries, multicultural education studies are very important to continue and be studied. On the other hand, multicultural education needs to be continuously implemented integrally in the national curriculum, providing space for each region to apply it more contextually according to its conditions. Indonesia is believed to have adapted to multicultural education for a long time. Although the curriculum often changes, the uniqueness of the Indonesian curriculum, which always carries the character and values of the nation's cultural heritage, is evidence of continuous implementation.Keywords: Multikultural Education, Constructivism, Education in Indonesia Abstrak. Artikel ini dibuat dengan tujuan memahami seberapa penting kajian pendidikan multikultural dan sejauh mana penerapannya dalam perspektif pendidikan di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam pembuatan artikel ini adalah kajian literatur atau penelitian pustaka dengan mengambil sumber-sumber referensi yang relevan dan ditafsirkan dengan bahasa sendiri. Pendidikan multikultural menggunakan pendekatan teori belajar konstruktivisme yang memiliki ciri yang relevan dengan aktivitas pendidikan multikultural yang aktif, adaptif, dan kontekstual. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan luasnya lingkup wilayah dan keberagaman di Indonesia dibanding negara lain, maka kajian pendidikan multikultural menjadi sangat penting untuk terus dilakukan dan dipelajari. Disisi yang lain pendidikan multikultural perlu terus diimplementasikan secara integral dalam kurikulum nasional, dengan memberi ruang bagi masing-masing daerah untuk menerapkannya secara lebih kontekstual sesuai kondisi daerahnya. Indonesia sendiri diyakini telah mengadaptasi pendidikan multikultural sejak lama. Meskipun kurikulum kerap kali berganti, namun kekhasan kurikulum Indonesia yang selalu mengusung karakter dan nilai luhur budaya bangsa menjadi bukti implementasi yang berkelanjutan.Kata kunci: Pendidikan Multikultural, Konstruktivisme, Pendidikan di Indonesia
