This study aims to describe teachers' performance in compiling and preparing lesson plans. This research method is carried out with a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The sample in this study amounted to 15 high school biology teachers in OKU Regency. Data collection methods are done using observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) the behavior of teachers in preparing and compiling lesson plans was largely independent, only relying on lesson plans obtained from other parties such as downloads from the internet, then the lesson plans that were used as references were copied or adopted only; 2) teachers have good knowledge of lesson plans and the steps for their preparation, and teachers prepare lesson plans at the beginning of each semester which is submitted to the school; 3) the quality of the lesson plans prepared by the teacher directly has an average value of 5. In conclusion, the teacher's quality of the lesson plans is still in the poor category. Keywords: Teacher, Performance, Lesson Plans

This study aims to develop SETS-based e-teaching materials (Science, Environment, Technology, Society) that integrates the local potential of Bangka Belitung in Environmental Education courses. The method used in this research is the ADDIE development model, which consists of 5 stages, including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The results showed that the average percentage data from each expert validation were: 1) media experts obtained an average of 93.75% with validity criteria (very valid) and eligibility criteria (very feasible); 2) the average of material experts is 95.45% with validity criteria (very valid) and eligibility criteria (very feasible); 3) the average of linguists is 91.66% with validity criteria (very valid) and eligibility criteria (very feasible); 4) the results of the limited trial obtained an average of 95.62% with the criteria of validity (very valid) and eligibility criteria (very feasible). In conclusion, e-teaching materials have met the validity and eligibility to be used in the learning process of Environmental Education. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of chitosan on fresh tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) products as a natural preservative that can maintain the condition of fish with a longer shelf life. The method used in this study was experimental with three treatments, namely control treatment, 1% chitosan coating, and 1.5% chitosan coating. Data analysis was carried out through organoleptic tests with four parameters: color, aroma, texture, and taste of the tested tilapia. Observations were made for three consecutive days. The results showed that tilapia with 1.5% chitosan coating had better organoleptic parameter values than the other two test treatments. In conclusion, 1.5% of chitosan maintained the quality of tilapia with a longer shelf life. Keywords: Durability, Tilapia, Chitosan, Organoleptic

This study aims to test the feasibility of the Leaf material (folium) booklet in the Plant Morphology course and assess student responses to the Leaf (folium) material booklet in the Plant Morphology course. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D (four-D) development model consisting of 4 stages, namely Define (defining), Design (planning), Develop (development) and Disseminate (deployment). The results showed that the validation value of material experts was 90%, linguists were 82.5% and media experts were 80%. The results of the student response questionnaire to the booklet got a score of 83.75%, with a very decent category. In conclusion, the booklet has been successfully developed and is feasible to use. This study aims to determine the profile of science process skills and scientific attitudes of prospective biology teachers in the Invertebrate Zoology course. The method used is descriptive to examine all students of the Biology Education Study Program in the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic year as research subjects. Process skills data were obtained from process skills observation sheets and scientific attitude data were obtained from questionnaires. The results showed that the science process skills of prospective biology teachers were 79.1% and scientific attitudes were 82.4%. In conclusion, the science process skills of Biology teacher candidates are classified as skilled with a good scientific attitude. This study aims to determine the relationship between graphology learning outcomes and practical learning outcomes for the Department of Biology Education students. The method used is a complete report of the Vertebrate Zoology practicum as a sample of student handwriting and then analyzed using a graphological assessment instrument. The results showed that the value of the correlation coefficient or rxy obtained was 0.769. This value means that the higher the analysis of graphology results, the higher the learning outcomes of the Vertebrate Zoology practicum for Biology Education Department students. In conclusion, there is a solid relationship between the analysis of graphology results and the Vertebrate Zoology practicum learning outcomes in the Department of Biology Education, Maros Muslim University. This study aims to evaluate online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic for students of the Biology Education Study Program, STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau. This research method is a qualitative method using a questionnaire. The data collected includes the results of student satisfaction with online learning, online media used in online learning, the results of delivering material in online learning, deficiencies in online learning, students' choices of lecture methods. The results showed that students satisfied with online learning were as much as 30.2% and WhatsApp was the most popular media. The level of satisfaction with the delivery of material by lecturers was 39.7% and 39.7% of students stated that online learning was wasteful of quota, so the majority of students (49.2%) wanted learning to be carried out face-to-face. In conclusion, students are satisfied with online learning but want to immediately implement face-to-face learning in class. Keywords: COVID 19, Evaluation, Online Learning

This study aims to determine the types of Selaginella that exist in Curug Embun Waterfall, North Lubuklinggau I, South Sumatra. This research method is a qualitative descriptive type. Sampling using roaming and documentation methods. Data were analyzed by observing specimens and identification by scanning morphological characters. The results showed that the kinds of Selaginella found were Selaginella wallichii (Hook. & Grev.) Spring, Selaginella intermedia (Blume) Spring., Selaginella plana (Desv.) Hieron., Selaginella doederleinii Hieron, Selaginella willdenowii (Desv.) Backer., Selaginella ornata Spring., Selaginella sp.1 and Selaginella sp.2. This study aims to evaluate the independence of science learning for seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau in the 2021/2022 academic year. The method used is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews and questionnaire techniques. The learning independence understudy is independent with responsibility indicators, strong self-confidence and creative thinking. The results showed that students with learning independence in the medium category were five people (22%), students with very good learning independence were five people (22%) and students with learning independence in the good category were 13 people (56%). The average learning independence of grade VII.5 students of SMP Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau is in the good category with a score of 78. In conclusion, grade VII students of SMPN 3 Lubuklinggau have high learning independence in science subjects. Keywords: Evaluation, Independent Learning

This study aims to develop an Inquiry-based practicum guide in the General Biology course to strengthen General Biology trial or practicum skills further. The method used in this research is Research and Development. The results showed that this practicum guide was included in the very valid category with a percentage of 86, which was in the range of 81-100. In conclusion, the Inquiry-based practicum guide developed in General Biology courses is valid and can be used in other General Biology practicums that use the same material.
