Abstract

A child, in accordance with the direction of Islam, is the basic foundation for the growth of the child in the next phase. The aim of the research is to provide an overview of moral education in social media for children. The methods used in this research is qualittative analysis. Research shows that early education plays an important role for children. A weak moral foundation will make children vulnerable to negative things. The presence of communication technology has had a positive impact on the lives of children in learning and socializing, but not the least negative impact it can have. Since childhood, children have been introduced to communication technology, both as a means of play, entertainment, learning and as a way of communicating with parents, peers, and older people. Islam guides the good in human life through the Quran and the Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Good morals are a filter for children in the use of communication technology well. Children tend to imitate the many examples they see, so education plays an important role in providing knowledge, training, accustoming and facilitating good morals in the use of communication technology. It is not only the teacher who is responsible, but also the teacher and his parents.

Villages, as the smallest communities, have not escaped the flood of communication technology or what is known as the global village. Demands for change that challenge physical mobility, ideas, methods and ways of working that are faster, more innovative, more effective and efficient force villages to speed up their adaptation. This article aims to describe the innovative steps taken by the Head of Hadakewa Village. This qualitative descriptive research is based on case studies where quantitative and qualitative data are collected from various sources of information and their derivatives, either through direct observation, research or enrichment studies through information from books, journals, electronic media and other relevant reading sources. The results of this research show that the village head is able to innovate by digitalizing the management of the village's superior potential (tourism and fisheries), involving the participation of the community, regional and central government and the private sector. The synergy of this innovation ecosystem is important to be adopted by other villages in Indonesia as an innovative strategy to create prosperous villages.

Abstract

The National Counterterrorism Agency stated that there had been a decrease in terrorism cases by 89% in the last five years. Even though it is quite significant, efforts to prevent terrorism, especially preventing radicalism, must still be carried out. This is because there are indications of a change in approach from violence to a softer one. One area that needs special attention regarding the development of radicalism is Jakarta Province. The 2022 Radicalism Potential Index states that radicalism in DKI Jakarta has high potential. Efforts to strengthen the prevention of radicalism in Jakarta require massive community participation. This article discusses optimizing the role of the Jakarta Regional Leadership Ansor Youth Movement (GP Ansor) as a religion-based youth organization in preventing radicalism. The GP Ansor organization is a non-profit, religious-based youth organization that has adequate potential and resources to counter the development of radicalism. The method used in this paper is qualitative research in the nature of a literature study. The study begins with searching and collecting library sources, processing data and information, analyzing and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that there is an important role for the GP Ansor organization in preventing radicalism in Jakarta. This role needs to be optimized so that it can increase community participation in preventing radicalism in Jakarta. Optimization is carried out through improvements in several aspects of the organization which include facilities and infrastructure, budget and human resources.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is present in Indonesia based on the doctrine of anti-Superstition, Bid'ah and Churafat (TBC). One aspect of Muhammadiyah's rejection is the practice of local Islamic cultural traditions in Southwest Aceh in the form of the implementation of the Maulod, Kenduri Blang and Kenduri Jeurat which are considered heretical. However, the actual reality shows that muhammadiyah followers, especially in Kuala Batee District, Southwest Aceh, are starting to get involved in the practice of local Islamic tradition rituals. This reality is the main impetus for this article to answer the question of why the followers of the muhammadiyah Association changed their religious practices from being anti-local Islamic cultural practices which are considered heretical to accepting and even getting involved in the procession. This research was conducted qualitatively with the main support of data collection carried out through participant observation, in-depth interviews, In order to be stronger and more authoritative, the use of relevant documents as secondary data was also used. This article found that the shift in religious practices of Muhammadiyah followers in Aceh Barat Daya is done to strengthen social existence so that they can interact safely and comfortably in the local community  that adheres to dominant Islamic traditions.

Abstract

The phenomenon of using second accounts on Instagram is growing among students, especially in generation Z, to express themselves more freely and personally. The purpose of this research is to understand the meaning of students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu regarding the use of second accounts on Instagram, with a qualitative approach and phenomenological method. Dramaturgical theory was used as the theoretical basis to analyze how individuals present themselves in social interactions, by distinguishing between “front stage” and “back stage” in the use of social media. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation of students who actively use second accounts on Instagram. The research findings show that university students use second accounts as a private place to express feelings, stage totality: front and back stage working together and an escape from social pressure and aesthetic standards. Second accounts are considered as a symbol of a truer self-identity and as a tool to build closer social relationships with certain groups of friends. The use of second accounts also reflects students' strategies in managing self-image and privacy in the digital world. Through the perspective of dramaturgical theory, the use of second accounts is understood as the result of different self-presentations on the "front stage" and "back stage", where individuals adjust their performances to achieve personal satisfaction and social control in communication on social media.

Abstract

Abstract

BUMG Maju Jaya in Gampong Peunaga Pasi is the only Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) that has consistently sustained and developed compared to other BUMDes in Aceh Barat. As the first BUMDes established in the region, its sustainability and success reflect effective management practices while also highlighting the structural challenges faced by other BUMDes in achieving similar outcomes. The purpose of this study is to reveal the contribution of BUMG Maju Jaya in supporting community economic independence through the optimization of local coastal area potential. The study adopts a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that BUMG Maju Jaya has significantly enhanced both village and community income by managing water tourism and other supporting facilities. Active community participation and trust-based social management have been identified as key factors behind its success. Revenue from business units such as the waterboom, canteen, and other village assets has shown substantial growth. Additionally, the management of BUMG has made a substantial contribution to the development of social and human capital, including improving community skills, knowledge, and participation in economic programs. The recommendations derived from this study suggest that BUMG Maju Jaya can serve as a model for other BUMDes by disseminating best practices in trust-based governance, economic diversification, and sustainable community empowerment.
