Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine student learning activities and outcomes in the subject matter of mechanics and statistics. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a cooperative learning model. The results of the study found that in the first cycle, the learning outcomes of students who took part in the Statics and Material Mechanics lecture material using conventional learning, namely that of 34 students only got an average score of 64.27%. In addition, the increase in learning activities also did not meet student completeness because the number of students who received a minimum score in the good category was still below 75%, namely 42.5%, with the class average value only showing the good category. Furthermore, in cycle II there was an increase in student learning activity of 16.78% with an average class score of 3.41 which indicated a very good category. As for student learning outcomes, the average score was 74.375 in cycle I to 92.00 in cycle II with an increased proportion of learning outcomes of 23.70%. Increasing learning activities in cycle II was successful because the average class value was 3.41 (very good) with a student proportion of 80%. the number of students who follow the learning process. And to improve learning outcomes in cycle II in this study it has fulfilled its success because many students have a minimum KKM score of 90% with an average score of 92.00.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembelajaran berbasis proyek atau PjBL menumbuhkan High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian quasi eksperimen berupa pretest-posttest control group design merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sampling jenuh (full) atau total sampling, artinya semua populasi yang akan dijadikan sampel adalah 18 siswa, dimana 18 siswa mendapatkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Tes HOTS digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini. Dengan menggunakan rumus independent sample t test dapat ditentukan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima karena thitung > ttabel atau 4.842 > 1,693 dan nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 berarti < 0,05. Ditarik kesimpulan yakni pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL) berpengaruh pada tingkat berfikir siswa secara tinggi (HOTS) pada mata pelajaran Ekonomi siswa kelas XI IPS SMAN 11 Jeneponto.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh tingkat kepercayaan diri, kreativitas dan motivasi terhadap minat berwirausaha generasi milenial di Kabupaten Pangkep. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel independen tingkat kepercayaan diri, kreativitas dan motivasi, sedangkan variabel dependennya adalah minat berwirausaha. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasi diterapkan pada penelitian ini. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 1.209 usaha yang didirikan oleh generasi milenial yang terdaftar di Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Pangkep dan sampel terpilih sebanyak 43 sampel. Pengumpulan data melalui teknik observasi, dokumentasi dan angket (kuesioner). Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa variabel tingkat kepercayaan diri, kreativitas dan motivasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha generasi milenial di Kabupaten Pangkep. Variabel yang berpengaruh paling dominan adalah kreativitas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan internal dan eksternal terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi peserta didik secara parsial dan simultan. Sampel penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling, sehingga sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 98 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner/angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, uji instrumen, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan internal secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar dengan tingkat signifikan <0,05 dan lingkungan eksternal secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan tingkat signifikan <0,05. Lingkungan internal dan eksternal secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik dengan tingkat signifikan <0,05. Selain itu, koefisien determinasi (R2) yaitu sebesar 0,827 (82,7%). Hal ini berarti bahwa pengaruh lingkungan internal dan eksternal terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 82,7% sedangkan sisanya 17,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di SMP Negeri 7 Makassar, mengetahui hambatan kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan kompetensi profesional guru untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, dan model pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru di SMP Negeri 7 Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, guru,wakasek kurikulum,wakasek sarana dan prasarana, wakasek kesiswaan dan siswa. Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dijadikan sebagai instrumen penelitian. Teknik reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data digunakan sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian dapat diringkas sebagai berikut:Strategi kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru yaitu pelatihan MGMP, seminar, pelatihan guru, program guru penggerak dan sekolah penggerak. Hambatan pengembangan kompetensi profesional guru untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan adalah sebagian guru kurang tertarik pada pengembangan diri karena merasa sudah cukup karena mendekati masa pensiun serta sebagian besar terjebak dalam rutinitas. Model lesson study digunakan sebagai model pengembangan.

Abstract

The study looked at the relationship between academic motivation and secondary school students’ academic performance in mathematics. A correlation survey was used in the study. The study was guided by two research questions and two hypotheses tested at 0.05 alpha level. A sample of 1,650 students was selected using a multistage sampling procedure from among 42,299 senior secondary two (SS2) students studying mathematics in Delta State, Nigeria, in the academic year 2021-2022. The Academic Motivation Questionnaire (AMQ), validated by three experts was used as the instrument for gathering data and had a reliability value of 0.68 using Cronbach Alpha. The students’ performance in the subject is reflected in their examination scores in mathematics for the SS1 class of 2021-2022. The gathered data were analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation. The results of the study showed a negative connection, and the majority of the students reported strong levels of motivation. Academic motivation and students’ performance in mathematics did not significantly correlate. Students' academic performance in mathematics also differed significantly between those with strong and low motivation. In light of the findings, it was suggested, among other things, that mathematics teachers and guidance counselors in schools should make a concerted effort to increase the motivation of their students through proper teaching and conditioning as well as modeling the behaviour of the students for better performance in mathematics.

Abstract

Formative assessment in language learning is inevitable. The differences between formative and summative assessment do not only lie in the time when the assessment is carried out. The differences might be examined by the purposes why the assessment is conducted. This study aims to gather information about the implementation of formative assessment in the classroom. Seven open-ended questions were distributed to 100 participants in an online survey. Eighty-three responses were gathered and analysed qualitatively. The findings showed that there are different perceptions of formative assessment from formative assessment on the policy. The participants indicated that the assessment practices focused more on gaining scores than on providing positive feedback to the students. The new curriculum that emphasises more formative assessment of the pedagogy practices might fail to be implemented in the classroom.

Abstract

This research aims to develop career card media based on career information services and produce valid, practical, effective, and responsive media. The existence of the media is expected to help the career guidance process at school. The method used is the research and development method of the Borg and Gall model with steps: 1) potential problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, 5) design revision, 6) product trial, and 7) final product. The subjects in this study were seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 51 Makassar. The data collection instrument used is a questionnaire given to material experts, media experts, practitioners, and respondents (students) to see the feasibility of the developed media. The data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) an overview of the needs of career card game media to improve students' understanding of career planning. 2) description of the prototype of career cards game media in increasing students' understanding of career planning. 3) description of the validity and practicality of career cards media in increasing the understanding of student career planning career cards media developed by researchers have been valid and practical to use in providing counseling guidance services specifically on career guidance at the junior high school level at SMP Negeri 51 Makassar

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektfitas penggunaan Trainer Alternating Current pada pembelajaran elektronika daya di Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Pre-Eksperimental Design. Rancangan penelitian yang diterapkan adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Dalam rancangan ini peserta didik hanya terdiri dari atas satu kelompok saja yaitu kelompok eksperimen. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa untuk untuk kelas yang diberikan treatment dengan menggunakan Trainer Alternating Current Alternating Current efektif digunakan untuk pembelajaran elektronika daya, ini terlihat dariperbedaan rata-rata hasil pretest dan posttetst sehingga dari hasil ngain yang menunjukkan nilai 0,37 atau 37 % sehingga dikatakan efektif dalam penerapannya.

Abstract

Development research aims to produce quizizz media-based electronic student worksheets as a support for Social Science learning materials. The method used in this research is Research & Development, with the model developed that uses; Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE). This research was conducted at Cipayung 03 Pagi National Elementary School, East Jakarta. The object of research was conducted on 25 fourth grade students. Steps in the research stage, 1) analyzing research needs, 2) product design, 3) developing products, 4) trials: one to one, small groups, and learners and 5) evaluation of products. Data collection techniques use interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the development trial were evaluated by a one-person media expert, a one-person material expert, and a one-person linguist obtained from an average score of 89.3% with an excellent category, while the results of the online user trial resulted in an average score of 88.5%. Thus showing that the worksheets of learners are worth using for social science learning in elementary school
