Abstract

Students have problems speaking skills and creative thinking. Speaking considered difficult in learning activities in the classroom. To overcome this problem researchers conduct application-oriented character initiation debate in grade five elementary schools. This study aimed to obtain concrete evidence and describe the process of learning by using debate in the classroom so that an increase in student learning outcomes and responses to learning activities. This research method is quasi-experimental. This research was conducted at SDN 7 Hegarsari and involves 66 students consisting of 33 students and 33 students experimental class control. Research data in the form of pretest and posttest scores were analyzed using t-test. Based on data analysis, conclusions obtained by the average value of n-gain scores in the experimental class (0.50) is higher than the value of the average scores on the class n-gain control (0.35). Statistically significant difference between the two scores, the probability value obtained is smaller than the level specified significant (0.023 < 0.05). Students give a positive response to the learning process and it can be concluded that the application of effective character-oriented initiation debate improves speaking skills and creative thinking of students.

Abstract

The aim of research is to know how the implementation of Experiment Method gives an effect to the students’ religious value and their curiosity. The research applied quantitative-descriptive method. This research found that method of experiment learning gives an effect both to the students’ religious value (from 44 to 73 in experiment class) and (from 40 to 48 in control class), and to the students’ curiosity (from 44 to 73 in experiment class) and (from 31 to 36 in control class). In conclusion, experiment method can increase both students’ religious value and their curiosity, so its method can be implemented in teaching learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of the study are; to know the understanding of head of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Bogor about guidance and comprehensive counseling; to know the service of  guidance and comprehensive counseling that is being done; to know service tools of guidance and comprehensive counseling and; to know difficulties of its application. This study is naturalistic-qualitative of descriptive-analytic. The technique of the study is participant observation; in depth interview, dokumentation and triangulation. The results of the study are; the understanding of head of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah about guidance and comprehensive counseling is not as the rule of Educational ministry no 111 year 2014 (permendikbud No. 111 Tahun 2014); The program is not based yet on independence competence standar; The service tools doesn’t meet minimum standard from ABKIN both personels and facilities; The difficulties faced are less support from the government, less human resources, less funding.

Abstract

The aim of research is to know how independence value and hard work on math lesson at class II before and after applying a model of cooperative learning type Numbered Head Structure. This research is qualitative which conducted a quasi experimental design. Based on data, the research found that both independence value and hard work on math lesson before applying the model is relatively small, about 56.4453. But after applying the model, both independence value and hard work on math lesson increases significantly about 70.6667. However this model gives an influence to the students. The significance of this research is model of cooperative learning type Numbered Head Structure has a positive effect to the independence value and hard work of students class II on math lesson.

Abstract

The result of the research shows that application of cooperative learning Numbered Head Together (NHT) model is quietly good, because every steps of application increase well and regularly. The first cycle 75,83% increases to the second one 83,83% and increase regularly to the third one 89,66%. The score of students’ learning outcome from first cycle 63,33% increases to the second one 83,33% and increases regularly to the third one 100%. It can be concluded that cooperative learning in such model becomes good solution to the increasing the students’ knowledge.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to know a thematic learning using picture and picture models can improve learning activities. This research applied classroom activities research (PTK) which conducted; planning, actuating, observation and reflection. The research found that thematic learning using picture and picture models can improve learning activities in class III B SD IT Generasi Rabbani Bengkul. This is found from the increase in average achieved scores on the activities of teachers and students that the teachers have obtained a score of 31.25 in both categories in the first cycle, increased to 36 with both categories in the second cycle, as well as the activities of the students gained an average score of 31 with either category in the first cycle, increased to 35.5 in both categories in the second cycle. It can be seen from the average value of learning outcomes and student learning in the form of a percentage of the value of cognitive (IPA 8,66 or 100%, Math 7,92 or 81,49 %), both affective and psychomotor value is 88,88 %.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes class II B SDN 7 Metro North using cooperative learning model examples of non examples. The method used is classroom action research assessment process forms a cycle cycle consisting of four basic stages are interrelated and continuous, namely 1) planning, 2) acting, 3) observing, and 4) reflecting. In this study, researchers used quantitative data analysis techniques such as achievement test and qualitative data analysis techniques such as observation. Based on the results of the data analysis of thematic learning class II B SDN 7 Metro North, affective value of students from the first cycle to the second cycle increased by 19.05% from the first cycle of 62.20% to 81.25% for the second cycle. Value psychomotor students increased an average value of 24.33 from the first cycle of 58.71 into 83.04 in the second cycle. And the students' cognitive value also increased by 11.79 from the first cycle of 65.54 to 77.32 in the second cycle. From the results of this study indicate that the use of cooperative learning model examples of non examples can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Thematic Learning in the field has not practiced optimally. This research found that still many implementations of teacher-centered in teaching learning process. Students tend to be passive and only learn from the text book. So, thematic learning innovation is needed to increase the learning activity. From thematic scientific approach through the implementation of quantum learning model of teaching that applies the concept TANDUR (Tanamkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasikan, Ulangi, dan Rayakan) make student-centered learning The use of audio media in the form of children's songs, instruments, and pictures help students learning with fun, so that process activities and thematic learning outcomes and student skills in creative thinking will increase.

Abstract

Tawhid as the basis of Islamic teaching and education is the most important substances in educating generations of Muslims. Al Quran as a guidance for Muslims has great concern about the substance of tawhid and its teaching methods. One is story of the prophet Ibrahim who taught his followers about tawhid to Allah This study will reveal the tawhid teaching methods of prophet Ibrahim in surah al Anbiyaa verses 51-70. This study is qualitative, which aims to find and explore information about the interpretation of the Qur'an surah al Anbiyaa verses 51-70 with the relevant references. The method used in this study is maudhu'i interpretation method, that is by examining verses of the various aspects of it, and doing the analysis based on the true science that is used to describe the subject matter, so as to understand the problem and purpose of verses easily. In this case focused on evaluating one element of education, it’s the teaching methods.The research findings of studies on the substance and tawhid teaching methods of prophet Ibrahim can be used as a reference and applied in the teaching of Islam, especially the tawhid teaching in educational institutions. Thus the purpose of teaching can be achieved well.

Abstract

The aim of research is to know about student reaction for using multiple intelligences strategies connection with student motivates on SKI lesson at class VI. This research consists of two variables, student reaction for using multiple intelligences as variable X and student motivates on SKI lesson as variable Y.  This research is quantitative use descriptive method with Datacollecting instrument shaped observation in class with a teacher and head master to get some information about system in the school and questionnaires. For sample and population use totally sample technique with 37 respondent. Data analyze with correlation statistics. Correlation coefficient use rank spearman correlation because two variables distribution is abnormal. From Data analyze get know variable X has value is 4,35 classified good/high while variable Y has value 3,90 classified good/high. Connection between two variable can appoint with correlation figure is 0,995 to show up this correlation are very good/very high and calculation result with t test is 58,9 from significantion standard 5 % is 2,0315 from result db 35. This is show  means there is correlation between variable X and variable Y. Based on calculation correlation value and effect test variable X to variable Y get value K is 0,1 result effect is 90 %. Its means variable Y get effect variable X is 90 % and 10 % again from effect other factor.
