Abstract

The complexity of Indonesia's diversity and cultural patterns have undergone a major evolution, especially with multicultural education in several parts of Indonesia. Multicultural education is an echo of the government in maintaining peace between ethnicities, races, and religions in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of Google Scholar articles about the evolution of multicultural education trends in Indonesia by searching for 2000-2022 through the productivity of scientific articles, productive authors, thematic mapping, the emergence of shared keywords, and the collaboration of authors. This analysis uses Vos viewer software. This study managed to collect 994 articles, and 32,497 citations, with an author/paper ratio of 1.81. Multicultural research in Indonesia came to the fore in 2002 and continues to increase sharply in 2020, 2021, and 2022. The first-ranked researcher for the past 22 years is Wekke with 11 articles published, while the highest h-index is C Mahfud in 2013 with an h-index of 1475, he wrote a multicultural educational book. Multicultural education resulted in 4012 links, with several titles and abstracts related to it. The originality in this study as far as is known has never been done, especially how the evolution of multicultural education in Indonesia by utilizing artificial intelligence technology.

Abstract

This study aims to deepen and analyze the implementation and effectiveness of human resource management in the context of educational institutions in schools. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are interviews and documentation. The validity of this research is also obtained through the source triangulation technique, which compares the information obtained by the author with the theory used. Informants in this study consisted of school principals, administrative heads, and teachers. Data analysis is carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the implementation of human resource management at SDIT Muhammadiyah has been carried out well, with a focus on four aspects; recruitment, training, compensation, and termination. The four main aspects studied by the author are in line with Schuler's theory and the opinions of the three informants studied. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of human resource management theory and practice, and provide useful guidance for educational institutions in improving the quality and effectiveness of human resource management.

Abstract

Madrasah developed every decade for Indonesia society. The development of Madrasah runned along with the need of family household. Madrasah sustained the quality as well as provided more deep practices and extra-curricular to support prominent programs. This research describes deeply of madrasah development and society or public trust sustainably to madrasah. This study is descriptive qualitative research designed by naturalistic inquiry to naturalistic phenomena of Islamic education. The data collecting techniques are observation and interview by which data analytical inductive analyses, creative synthesis and holistic perspective to education phenomena and stakeholders. The result of the study shows that in modern and industrial era 4.0, stakeholders respond to what society need to industrial world rather than just believing the truth of self-sense to religious touches. The quality and public trust, on education in Madrasah, increase. Madrasah strives to improve the significant plays a role of state Madrasah as a model and as a controller of the quality of Madrasah taught. Developing educational programs and improving the ability of madrasahs to bring the role as public schools based on Islamic characteristics creates graduates’ quality as social expectations.

Abstract

The threat of a recession in 2023 will not only hurt the economic aspect but also harm the educational dimension. Madrasas, as an educational institution, should be prepared to face the challenges and threats of the upcoming recession, even though this threat has not yet surfaced. One of the preventive measures that can be taken is to re-implement the urgency of Islamic values in madrasah management as an actualization in preventing the adverse effects of the 2023 recession. Considered when facing a period of disruption such as a recession. The articles in this study used the systematic literature review method with the principle of the general literature review procedure. The techniques used are coding, initial coding, and open coding by means of identification, selection, classification, evaluation, and synthesis of primary and secondary literature. As for the results of the systematic literature review that has been carried out, it shows that madrasahs, in the face of a recession, need to do the following: The first is to instill ascetic values in the madrasah system. Second, implementing sharia-based financial management. Third, reconstructing ukhuwah Islamiyah solidarity. Fourth, rejecting the usury system and transactions that are unlawful. Fourth, rebuild the transparency and accountability of madrasahs in the face of a recession. Fifth, re-implement the system of efficiency and savings in madrasas so that the danger of recession can be prevented.

Abstract

Researchers found that educators were less effective in delivering material, so it was necessary to hold supervision, the principal as a supervisor must understand his duties and must also be able to be open to the teacher by involving the teacher in any planning to be carried out, so that the purpose of this study is that the teacher as an object can understand their duties and make improvements in order to improve the quality and better quality of education for the future. This research uses a qualitative approach, the data collection method is carried out with a naturalistic or interpretive paradigm. Data were collected from natural settings as a direct data source through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study are the directive supervision approach at MTs Unggulan Perwanida Blitar based on a behavoristic psychological understanding because some teachers are not qualified in delivering material, it is necessary to provide stimulation so that they can react better. Supervisors can use reinforcement or punishment in providing stimulus. As a means to support the implementation of professional development.

Abstract

The curriculum is one of the indicators to measure the quality of an educational institution, because if the curriculum used is good then the targeted results will be achieved further to produce graduates who are outstanding and have good character. This study aims to analyze curriculum management at Al-Hidayah Cukangkawung Tasikmalaya Islamic High School. Qualitative methods were used in this study with a descriptive analysis approach. Data collection was used by observation techniques, interviews and documentation studies, while data analysis was carried out by means of data condensation, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Al-Hidayah Cukangkawung Islamic High School uses the 2013 curriculum and a typical curriculum which includes life skills education, tadarus and dhuha congregation, literacy, and field work practices (PKL). While the process of curriculum management at Al-Hidayah Islamic High School includes: 1) curriculum planning, initially a curriculum development team was formed and then the planning was divided into two levels, namely school-level curriculum planning and class-level curriculum planning; 2) the implementation of the curriculum, the implementation of the curriculum is under the supervision and responsibility of the school principal who is accompanied by the vice principal in the field of curriculum; and 3) curriculum evaluation, this activity is carried out at the end of the year in the form of an end of school year evaluation meeting.

Abstract

Islamic Education Institutions must always improve their human resources. One of them is by implementing Quality of work life. This research will analyze the implementation of Quality of work life in human resource management in schools. This article was written using qualitative methods. The data source was obtained from the results of a case study from an educational institution, SMP Muhammadiyah Imam Syuhodo. The data collection methods used by the author are participatory observation, interviews and documentation. Participatory observation is observation carried out by researchers by observing and participating directly in the lives of the informants being researched. The data analysis method used is by collecting and reducing data. The conclusion of this research shows that Muhammadiyah Imam Syuhodo Middle School has tried to implement the principles of Quality of work life within its institution. Although it has not been implemented perfectly. The implication of the research above is that the implementation of Quality of Work Life at SMP Muhammadiyah Imam Syuhodo can serve as a model for improving human resource management in other Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the literature related to the implementation of student exchange activities in the MBKM program at universities in Indonesia. Policy network analysis is used to analyze the implementation of student exchange policies in the MBKM program. The results of the study show that the roles of actors involved in policy networks who have an interest in and involvement in student exchange activities/programs include: 1) Directorate General of Higher Education, 2) sending universities, 3) receiving universities, 4) lecturers supervisor/lecturer in charge of the subject/mentor, 5) Independent Student Participants in the Exchange program. Each actor has played a role in accordance with their main duties and functions and collaborated with other actors so that the implementation of the Exchange activities Program goes according to standard operational guidelines.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan merupakan tempat dimana peserta didik menggali serta mengembangkan potensinya. Maka penting untuk sebuah lembaga pendidikan mengekola kegiatan-kegiatan yang diselenggarakn agar peserta didik merasa sejahtera, sehingga peserta didik dapat dan mengembangkan potensinya secara maksimal. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler diselenggarakan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan siswa. Penelitian ini dilakuan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dimana pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara dan observasi untuk mengetahui bagaimakah penyelenggaraan pengeloaan kegiatan di lambaga pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan pada peserta didik. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) dalam perencanaan kegiatan hal utama yang harus dilakukan ialah menentukan tujuan dari setiap kegiatan yang akan dilaksanakan (2) dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan hal yang harus diperhatikan ialah menganai bagaiaman kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik dapat berdampak pada keseimbangan social emosional siswa, motivasi, serta rasa penghargaan diri (3) tujuan dilakukan evaluasi ialah untuk menjamin bahwa siswa terlibat secara aktif, merasa terhubung dengan orang lain, dan mendapatkan manfaat dari kegiatan yang mereka ikuti.

Abstract

Kiai plays such a central role in Islamic boarding school. The fame of Islamic boarding school cannot be separated from the role of kiai, and not all descendants of kiai are able to replace his position. The purpose of this study is to analyze the leadership patterns of young kiai at Sabilul Muttaqien Islamic Boarding School in Pamekasan Madura and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses a qualitative approach with unstructured interview techniques and non-participant observation techniques in collecting data and testing it with source triangulation and method triangulation techniques. While the research subjects are kiai, students and the community. The study in this research is a study that is not widely described in previous studies because this study focuses more on the leadership model of young kiai in Islamic boarding schools. The results showed that the leadership pattern of young kiai at Sabilul Muttaqien Islamic Boarding School in Pamekasan is democratic. The supporting factors for his leadership are the persistence of young kiai and the support and trust of the community. While the lack of experience is a factor inhibiting his leadership.
