Archiving and reporting of the progress of the implementation of vocational programs have not been implemented properly so that the evaluation phase was not well coordinated. Pesantren in its development are not only religious education institutions but also functioned as non-formal education to educate and guide students to have vocational life skills that match their interests and talents. This study aims to uncover the processes of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring life vocational programs at Baitul Hidayah Islamic Boarding School in Bandung. The research method used is qualitative. The results showed; first, planning is carried out at the beginning of the academic year of pesantren learning; secondly, organizing was divided into 3 coordinators: agriculture and animal husbandry, electricity and water engineering mechanics, buying and selling and trading; third, the implementation is carried out by giving field assignments directly by tutors to students consisting of 80% practice and 20% theory; fourth, supervision is carried out by the field coordinator through the achievement of field assignments and oral and written reports from each field by students.

Change is a double-edged knife. It is both beneficial and harmful. A changing organization must first recognize the needs for change before planning a radical transformation. However, some organizations can fail to identify and devise effective measures to transform since the transforming layers are beyond overt variables: such as the aspects of ideology and metaphors. This paper is dealing with the need for change in a private university in Indonesia. Unsuccessful effort to manage the change has produced unproductive conflicts in the university. To generate an effective transformation plan, the researchers employed, ethnography, an embedded participant observation, to gather rich data. Followed by a combination of two futuristic methods namely Causal Layered Analysis (CLA) and backcasting to deeply comprehend the fabrics of the present, generate an alternative and preferred future, and present ideal measures to actualize the preferred future along with potential risks. The result suggests the university to transform all covert and overt layers in concert to be a progressive democratic Islamic university.

The curriculum in Indonesia has been changed eleven times since 1947th. In fact, the changes that are expected to increase education globally and nationality especially in Islamic Education, have not already revolutionary era yet. As one of independently formal Islamic Education, SMA Trensains Muhammadiyah, Sragen made their own curriculum named ?unification curriculum?. It has a lot of programs implemented in each variety schedule, particularly in Islamic Education. Those unique activities combine not only in theoretical things and classical methods, but also directly applicated the qauniyah verses in the Quran through the technology and learning media. The aims of this paper are to describe how the curriculum in Trensains worked and implemented the verses Quran in different ways from the others. This research uses field research with qualitative methods. Then the data analyze with descriptive ways. The results of this study showed that through the implementation of the unification curriculum in Trensains learning process between Islamic education and natural science collaborated increasing of intellectual and spiritual of students. The students more interactive and productive in integrative curriculum with qauniyah verses in Qur?an and science rather than conventional process.

This study aims to describe the marketing management of Al-Fadlliyah Islamic boarding school. Marketing at this pesantren focuses on a cooperative approach and community service, so that not only the pesantren cottage benefits, but the community also benefits from the activity. This research method uses qualitative research with case study research type. Data collection techniques used are: interview, observation and documentation. The results show that: 1) the marketing management process at this boarding school is through 4 stages, namely: planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating; 2) Implications of marketing management of Islamic boarding schools, namely: a) Islamic boarding schools have a good image in the community, b) an increase in the number of students, especially from regions originating from locations where PPM is conducted.

The research aims to determine the implementation of SIP (sholeh, ilmuwan, peminpin) charater instilling as a characteristic of characters building at SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Dua Ngawi. The research was a qualitative study with case study research. This research used purposive technique with the subject consisted of the third to fifth grade, and SIP teacher, and informant were the vice principals, assistens principil for student, and the expert teacher specially for the character builder (SIP Teacher). The data collected by observation, documentation, and interview. The research?s result show that the instilling of SIP character can also be done proactively through the development of Islamic culture in school. The development of islamic culture in school must be carried out continuously by school comunity so that the detemined character can be achieved properly. The development of islamic school culture is know as the SIP culture (sholeh, scientist, and leaders) wich is made as a characteristic of the caracter building at SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Dua Ngawi. The implementation of SIP character instilling at SDIT Alam Nurul Islam Dua Ngawi is carried out through continuously activity such as prayer congrecationally in mosque, memorizing holy qur?an, reciting and writing holy qur?an, memorizing selected hadits, reciting Al Ma?surat, marketday, islamic scouting, pencak silat, outbond, outing class, gardening, farming, spontaneous activity example reward or punishmen etc.

Mencari Model Pendidikan Karakter Di Sekolah Tharaba, M. Fahim

The focus of this research is looking for a character education model that was developed on the research site (MAN 3 Malang, SMAN 1 Malang and MA Pondok Pesantren An-Nur Malang Regency). The study used a qualitative approach or in the field of education is often called the naturalistic approach with purposif sampling techniques and snowball sampling techniques as well as sampling time (time sampling). The results of this research are as follows: (1) prioritized values in character education i.e. religious character, honest, discipline, hard work, tolerance, independent, love of homeland, democracy, cooperation, creative, taste of Inging Tau, appreciating achievement; (2) Character education models are conducted through integration into the learning activities of each subject; (3) Character Education Model is done through habituation in daily life in school/Madrasah and integration into school management activities/Madrasah; (4) Character education models are conducted through integration with extra-curricular activities on all three research sites; and (5) constraints encountered in the implementation of character education and solution of its resolution on the three research sites, namely in MA An-Nur Bululawang. The position of the attend which is at one Pesantren Foundation, which makes the policy making should always seek approval from the Pesantren. In addition, the time division of activities is also a constraint. While the character education in the MAN 3 Malang is considered as less effective because it can not be converted in real time in the book Raport and lack of monitoring and evaluation, so that the character education is still limited to normative. While the obstacles faced at SMAN 1 Malang in the form of lack of control and support from the student family, so that each child at home back "loose" can not be monitored as done in the Madrasah.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the educational quality framework based on the sematic study in QS. Al Ma'un's and its implementation in learning in the fourth grade of SD STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung. This research used descriptive qualitative research methods. The primary data sources of this research were Al Ma'un Surah Al-Qur'an, headmaster, teachers and 4th-grade students of SD STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung, while secondary data sources were in the form of relevant research results and documentation. Data collection techniques used content analysis techniques, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were reducing data, displaying data, making conclusions and verification. The results obtained in this study: 1) QS. Al Ma'un with 7 verses contains the true meaning of religious deceiver and deceit the day of retribution. Their main characters are arbitrary to orphans and do not want to help the poor. Threating to hypocrites who neglect their prayers, showing up their prayers to people even though often leave the prayers and negligent their goals. They also do not want to help others, even lending something to people, even less to give charity and pay zakat. These are the wretched people. 2) the implementation of QS. Ma'un in 4th grade learning at SD STKIP Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung is praying to worship on time and in a group, giving charity, and having social community programs.

ABSTRACTDelapan standarisasi nasional pendidikan (SNP) telah ditetapkan oleh pemerintah dengan kriteria dan indikator masing-masing standar, namun peningkatan kualitas sekolah dan madrasah masih mengalami banyak kendala. Salah satu penyebabnya diduga karena kurang adanya peran lembaga penjaminan mutu (LPM) sekolah dan madrasah dalam meningkatkan skor akreditasinya dan rendahnya komitmen untuk memenuhi standar. Hal ini senada dengan fakta bahwa para guru kurang komitmen dalam memenuhi dokumen akreditasi sekolah dan hal tersebut juga menjadi salah satu faktor menurunnya perolehan skor akreditasinya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana peran LPM dalam memfasilitasi proses peningkatan skor akreditasi madrasah. Penelitian ini bersifat evaluative dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa proses penyiapan akreditasi dilakukan secara sistemik dan sistematis dengan mengikuti regulasi dan mekanisme yang telah ditetapkan oleh unit peningkatan dan penjaminan mutu MAN 2 Kota Malang sesuai dengan tugas dan fungsi masing-masing pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan yang terlibat dalam tim akreditasi madrasah. Tulisan ini memberikan saran agar setiap madrasah dapat memaksimalkan peran LPM internal dalam menciptakan atmosfir akademik dan administratif.

Madrasa quality improvement is a crucial thing in the progress of Islamic education in Indonesia. School Improvement is a program that works to improve the quality of madrasas, especially at MTsS Maqama Mahmuda. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the strategic management process that occurred at MTsS Maqama Mahmuda from the school improvement program. The form of this research is descriptive qualitative with the subject of the study consisting of the chairman of the foundation, the head of the madrasa, the teaching staff, the teaching staff and one parent of the santri. The data used in this study are primary data that is the result of non-participatory observation and in-depth interviews and secondary data, which are documents that support this research. Based on the research results, several research findings can be found, including: 1) There is an analysis of the internal and external environment of madrasas in preparing strategic plans in the School Improvement Program 2) Formulation and reformulation of strategic planning by considering risk management 3) Implementation of effective strategic management through commitment and consistency from educators and education staff 3) Effective control and evaluation system by prioritizing the principle of rigor, transparency, accountability and sustainability. So it can be concluded that through the implementation of effective and efficient strategic management at MTsS Maqama Mahmuda has produced good performance from the School Improvement Program.Â

Educational infrastructure is essential in supporting the improvement of the quality of education in schools. This is because the existence of infrastructure facilities facilitate educational activities so that the educational process in schools is not hampered. Provision and maintenance of infrastructure in schools is the responsibility of all school stakeholders including the school committee. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the influence of school committees in improving the quality of educational facilities in SMK 1 Karangan, East Kutai Regency. By using population techniques, there were 15 research subjects and committee members of the Karangan 1 SMKN East Kutai Regency. The research measure is the scale of the role of the school committee in improving educational infrastructure. The results showed that the influence of the school committee was very important in improving the quality of educational infrastructure, it can be shown from the Tstatistic of 11.756 which was greater than Ttable 2.1788, the value of Fstatistic is 138.389 that was greater than Ftable 4.67, and an R-square value of 0.914 or 91.4%. These results showed that the role of the school committee has a major effect on improving the quality of educational infrastructure.
