Abstract

This study aims to determine work motivation and what indicators affect work motivation on employees of PT Markoni Mandiri Perkasa, this study uses descriptive writing method. The data collection technique is by observing and interviewing the employees of PT Markoni Mandiri Perkasa. The results of this study indicate that the employee's work motivation has not been good in terms of several indicators. Employees of PT Markoni Mandiri Perkasa are not yet responsible for their work. Employee performance has not been maximized. Opportunities to advance in the company are minimal because the company is not yet stable and is classified as a medium/small company. Employees feel comfortable at work because the company has given the rights and obligations of employees. Employees do not feel challenged because the applicable SOP have never been updated. While the implications of this research for the company must immediately evaluate the lack of employee motivation that can hinder the achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) To analyze the direct influence of competence, motivation and organizational commitment on satisfaction and performance. 2) To analyze the indirect effect of competence, motivation and organizational commitment on performance through job satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative approach by using primary data through a questionnaire of as many as 268 respondents with a population of 815. The study was conducted from July to September 2022. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equating Modeling program SPSS V. 25 and Amos v 25. The results of this study indicate that: (1) competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. (2) motivation has a positive and not significant effect on job satisfaction. (3) organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (4) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance (5) competence has a positive and insignificant effect on performance (6) motivation positive and significant effect on performance. (7) organizational commitment has a positive and insignificant effect on performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and green packaging on consumer purchasing decisions. The population in this study is Starbucks consumers in Surakarta. The research method used in this research is quantitative. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling, namely random sampling, with a total sample of 115 respondents. The data were analyzed using the SPSS 23 program. The dependent variable of this study was purchasing decisions. The independent variables were brand image and green packaging. The results showed that: (1) brand image had a significant effect on purchasing decisions, and (2) green packaging had no significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation on employee performance, the effect of training on employee performance, the effect of compensation on work-life balance, the effect of training on work-life balance, the effect of work-life balance on employee performance, the mediating effect of work-life balance on the effect of compensation on employee performance and the mediating effect of work life balance on the effect of training on employee performance. The research model used is a survey method with a quantitative approach, namely by focusing on hypothesis testing. The sample of this research is 171 employees of PT Artha Lestari. The sampling method is the Likert Scale Method.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to test the effect of brand image and campus reputation to the perception of senior high school students’ to study at Institut Seni Indonesia Padang Panjang by surveying samples of 487 of twelfth class students of senior high school, senior vocational school and religious or aliyah school in 15 school institutions that located in 6 regencies/cities of West Sumatera Province. Result from coefficient regression (t test) showed that independent variable of brand image was positively significant take effect to the perception of senior high school level students’ to study at Institut Seni Indonesia Padang Panjang then, the independent variable of reputation was positively significant take effect to the dependent variable of perception. Moreover, when it tested by coefficient determination that tested all the independent variables to the dependent variable it showed that there were R-Square value with 0,546 which meant that there were 54,6 % proportion of effect of all independent variables to the dependent variable. Abstract

The results of this study indicate that: (1) Motivation has a direct effect on employee performance, which is indicated by the value of the regression coefficient is positive and the degree is significantly smaller than the standard significant degree. (2) Competence has a direct effect on employee performance, which is indicated by the value of the regression coefficient being positive and the degree is significantly smaller than the standard significant degree. (3) Compensation has a direct effect on employee performance, which is indicated by the value of the regression coefficient being positive and the degree of significance is smaller than the standard significant degree. (4) Competence motivation and compensation have a unidirectional effect on employee performance together or simultaneously, which is shown by the F arithmetic value which is greater than the F table value.

Abstract

One of the factors that influence purchasing decisions by consumers is the marketing mix. This study aims to determine how much influence the marketing mix has on the decision to purchase Marlboro cigarettes in the city of Medan. The form of this research uses a quantitative description with the aim of finding out how much influence the X variable, namely the marketing mix, has on the Y variable, namely the purchasing decision. With this method, it is hoped that researchers can explain existing phenomena based on data and information obtained from research. From the results of simple linear regression calculations obtained Y = 4.603 + 0.411X means that if the marketing mix is ​​constant then there will be a purchase decision of 4.603 and if the marketing mix is ​​increased 1 time then the purchasing decision will increase by 0.411. Testing the adjusted coefficient of determination (R square) obtained a value of 0.254, meaning that the independent variable, namely the marketing mix, has an effect of 25.4% on purchasing decisions and 74.6% is influenced by other variables such as product quality, customer service, loyalty and organizational culture.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT.Sanfremy Pratama Medan engaged in the distributor of Engineering Equipment and Civil Construction Test Equipment. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of Working Capital, Assets and Interest Rates on Changes in Profit at PT. Sanfremy Pratama Medan. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative research. The population in this study is PT. Sanfremy Pratama Medan from January 2014 to December 2018 so that the total population in this study is 12 x 5 years = 60 data. The sample is 12 months x 5 years = 60 data. In this study all the population was sampled, where the sampling methodology used the saturated sample methodology. The data collection technique used is documentation for research data. Variables are measured by the ratio scale. The results of the study prove that working capital has no effect and is significant on profit changes at PT. Sanfremy Pratama Medan. Assets and significant effect on changes in profit at PT. Sanfremy Pratama Medan. Interest rates have no effect and are not significant to changes in profit at PT. Sanfremy Pratama Medan. Abstract

Employee performance is the result of work in quantity and quality achieved by employees in carrying out their duties in accordance with the responsibilities given. Companies need to improve employee performance such as improving leadership styles, providing good motivation and increasing employee work discipline. Leadership style is a form of behavior that can be made to integrate group goals with individual goals. Motivation is the thing that causes, distributes and supports human behavior so that they want to work hard and enthusiastically achieve optimal results. Work discipline is a tool used by managers to communicate with their employees so that they are willing to change a behavior as well as an effort to increase one's awareness and willingness to obey all company regulations or applicable social norms. Employee performance is the work achieved by an individual that is adjusted to the role and task of the individual in a company at a certain time period associated with a certain standard value measure of the company where the individual works. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style, motivation and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. Marantha Kreasindo Medan. This research was conducted at PT. Marantha Kreasindo Medan. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The results of the study simultaneously show that the variables of leadership style, motivation and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Partially, the leadership style and work discipline variables have no significant effect on employee performance, while the motivation variable has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study describes economic development aimed at the advancement of society. Achieving this progress requires community employment opportunities which ultimately lead to income distribution among the population, and making many changes to support the country's development and high economic miracle. On the other hand, of course, there is a gap between job opportunities and an unbalanced workforce, so that with the lack of job opportunities and the increasing number of job seekers, it will have a negative impact on the creation of unemployment. This study aims to determine the effect of Economic Growth (X1), Labor Force (X2), and Human Development Index (X3) on the Open Unemployment Rate (Y) in Maluku Province from 2007-2021. The analysis applied to this study is multiple linear regression and testing with the BLUE assumption is carried out in the study to prove the results that this study passed the classical assumption test. The results of this study indicate that Economic Growth has no effect on the Open Unemployment Rate, the Human Development Index has no effect on the Open Unemployment Rate, and the Poverty Level has a positive (not significant) on the Open Unemployment Rate in Maluku Province
