Abstract

This research is motivated by observations and interviews which indicate that the learning process is still centered on the teacher, resulting in passive students and low critical thinking skills in mathematics. One effort to develop critical thinking skills is through the implementation of the Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning model. The purpose of this study is to determine the significant effect of the TTW cooperative learning model on the critical thinking skills of grade XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Harau. This study is a pre-experimental research using the Static Group Comparison Design. The sample in this study is class XI IPS 4 as the experimental group and class XI IPS 2 as the control group. The instrument used in this study is a test of critical thinking skills in mathematics. Based on the results of data analysis using t-test and Minitab software, it can be concluded that the null hypothesis is rejected. The calculated value of t is 2.33, while the tabulated value of t is 1.67. Using Minitab software, the P-value (0.011) is less than the level of significance (0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that "There is a significant effect of the Think Talk Write (TTW) cooperative learning model on the critical thinking skills of grade XI students in SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Harau."

Abstract

This study examines the concept of Communication and Culture Education. The study of cross-cultural communication cannot be separated from culture because in cross-cultural communication the communication participants are faced with the problem of cultural differences. This type of research uses a descriptive type which aims to make a systematic, factual and accurate description or picture of facts, characteristics and the relationship between phenomena in the object of research according to the problems studied. The results of this study are; a. Communication Relations with Culture, b. The Cruciality of Cultural Differences, c. Prejudice. The situation in cross-cultural communication is so dynamic and evolving and sometimes not free from stereotypes. In cross-cultural communication there is an exchange between one culture and another. The cultural pressure point in the context of cross-cultural communication has more to do with immaterial cultural aspects, such as language, traditions, habits, customs, moral norms and values, ethics, ideas, religion, arts, beliefs, and so on.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how organizational tradition, work environment, and work behavior effect trainer activity delight. This study employs quantitative methodologies and makes use of strategies for gathering facts from the distribution of questionnaires and library records. 74 teachers made up the study's sample. The analytical method used has been multiple linear regression. Using the data analysis tool SPSS 20.0. With a sig F value of 0.000 < alpha 0.05 and an f-count value of 10.821 > f-table of 2.160, the findings of this study show that organizational culture, work discipline, and work environment all have an impact on teacher job satisfaction. With a sig t value of 0.003 < alpha 0.05 and a t-count value of 3.031 > 1.993 in t-table, the results of the t test demonstrate a significant link between the work environment and teacher job satisfaction. Organizational culture strongly influences teacher job satisfaction, with a sig t value of 0.040 < alpha 0.05 and a t-count value of 2.092 > t-table 1.993. Work discipline has a considerable impact on teachers' job satisfaction, with a t-count of 2.234 > t-table of 1.993 and a sig t value of 0.029 < alpha of 0.05.

Abstract

This research discusses the analysis of the contents of textbooks for the Aqidah Morals grades 4 through 6 in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Huda, Depok. This research is motivated by the change in curriculum from the 2006 curriculum to the 2013 curriculum which also causes changes to the textbooks used as a reference. This study aims to determine and describe the analysis of the content of Aqeedah Akhlak grade 4 to 6 textbooks according to MoRA publishers in terms of content assessment, and language. This research is a qualitative approach, while the type of research used is descriptive because the results of this research are presented in the form of words, where the data obtained comes from relevant documents such as books and certain writings. The data source that the researchers used was a document review, by analyzing the textbooks of moral values of grades 4 through 6. The results of this study indicate that the assessment in the 2013 Grade 4 Aqeedah Morals Textbook in terms of content eligibility, in general this textbook is in accordance with indicators of the suitability of the contents of the book based on curriculum criteria 2013, because it is in accordance with the Core Competencies and Basic Competencies in the relevant textbooks , the material is also quite short, dense and clear to know in outline. However, the lack of examples or information contained in the material. Assessment in terms of the feasibility of the language of this textbook is quite appropriate overall with the level of development of students, but there are still only a few words that are not in accordance with the level of development of students.

Abstract

The aims of this study was to find out how to implemented an education management information system in managing students' achievement score at the State Islamic senior High School Number 1 Sungai Penuh.The design of this research was qualitative research. The informants of this research were: the head master, teachers and academic staff at the state Islmic senior High School Number 1 Sungai penuh. Based on the results and discussion of the research, it can be concluded that: the application of the Education Management Information System in Management of students' achievement score at state Islamic senior high school number 1 sungai penuh has been maximized because most of teachers has been understand the applications that are applied in managing students' achievement score. Besides, the socialization also held by schools has been done. But, there are still obstacles are faced in the process of managing students' achievement score at state Islamic senior High School Number 1 sungai penuh. The implementation process of the homeroom teacher plays an important role in collecting students' achivement data in the form of students personal information, attendance and organization or extracurriculars, by asking students to fill in the form given. Meanwhile, in collecting data student scores are took from the teachers, namely daily scores and final semester scores. After all student data has been collected, the homeroom teacher inputs or enters the data into the digital students' achivement application. And for the subject teachers to collect students' achievement in the form of scores, both daily scores, midterm scores and final semester scores in the class where they are teaches. After the required data and student score are collected, then the data is processed or accumulated in order to obtain quality data. When inputting student data and student score, teachers are required to use ARD (Digital Report Card Application), but there are still teachers who do not understand how to use the application, but most already understand how to use it.

Abstract

Administration of government in improving welfare according to the policy is expected to create good coordination in the Implementation of Structuring Policy in the Regional Secretariat Organization. This study aims to analyze how the organizational governance policies of the Regional Secretariat of Depok City, West Java Province, are implemented. The method used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach, where data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. And the factors that influence policy implementation using Edward III's theory are the dimensions of communication, dimensions of resources, dimensions of disposition and dimensions of bureaucratic structure. The results of the research conducted show that the application of organizational structure to performance has not been followed up with equalization of positions in the preparation of SK and Tusinya. The effort that can be made by the Depok city government is to issue a mayoral regulation regarding work mechanisms or equity so that employees can work according to their scope of work.

Abstract

The social life and cultural diversity of the Indonesian nation is certainly the wealth of the Indonesian nation. The cultural system is the processes and results of systemic interactions from religious culture, scientific culture, defense culture, custom culture, and culture of togetherness, which are related to one another and are positively dynamic towards the advancement of national civilization. Through the Merdeka Student Exchange which is the Merdeka Campus Program which is attended by students from all universities in Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke, there is a meeting of cultural diversity brought by each student from various islands. With the aim of strengthening the sense of tolerance between the culture that is brought with the culture that is found in the destination tertiary institution. Tolerance is a very important attitude because it is an act that respects the diversity of backgrounds, views and beliefs. The method used is a holistic observation method (factual and literal) used as a data collection technique. As for the analysis technique using qualitative analytical methods. In this method the collected data is analyzed by inventorying facts with ideal concepts based on academic understanding and formal legal sources.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how sarcasm functions in the form of swearing in the speech of the people of the Meranti Islands Regency, especially in Selatpanjang City. In speaking, not all Selatpanjang people speak politely. Polite or not the language used depends on who he communicates with. When using harsh language with people who are close, the other person will not be angry. But if you suddenly speak rudely to someone new, that person might get emotional. The factors that influence the use of the word sarcasm in communication are emotional, spontaneous, disappointed, and social factors. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observing, observing, interviewing, recording, and taking notes. The data validation technique used is to increase persistence and triangulation. The analytical method used is to reduce the data and then display the data and draw conclusions from the data analysis that has been done

Abstract

This study is a development research to determine the level of feasibility by experts, namely material experts, media experts and linguists as well as to find out student responses to the video tutorial media for Making Various Kinds of Kampuh in the Class X Fashion Subject at SMK Negeri 3 Kediri. The research was developed using 4D model, namely define, design, develop and disseminate. The data collection method uses a media feasibility assessment questionnaire by Material Experts, Media Experts and Language Experts as well as student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques to process data from the validation results of media feasibility and student response data.The results of research and development of video tutorials for making various kinds of kampuh show the following results, (1) The feasibility level of the media by the Material Expert with an average score of 3.31 which is declared Very Feasible to be tested. The level of eligibility of the media by Media Experts with an average score of 3.73 which was declared Very Feasible to be tested. The feasibility level of the media by linguists with an average score of 3.50 which was declared Very Feasible to be tested. (2) The results of student responses in a small-scale trial with 6 people obtaining a score percentage of 89% are included in the Very Good category. While the results of student responses in the large-scale trial of 31 people obtained a score percentage of 92% included in the Very Good category.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to determine: (1) The Effect of the Teaching Campus Program on Students' Literacy Competence; (2) The Influence of the Teaching Campus Program on Students' Numeral Competence. This research was conducted at SMP Al Bukhari Muslim Medan T.A 2023/2024. The population in this study were all students of SMP Al Bukhari Muslim Medan, totaling 55 people and some of the teachers totaling 14 people. The sampling technique used the total sample method. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire (questionnaire). Test the validity by using the product moment analysis technique and the reliability of the questionnaire using the Alpha Croanbach formula. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) the Teaching Campus Program has a positive and significant effect on Literacy Competence with tcount > ttable. (4.142 > 1.674) and a significance value of 0.001 <0.05; (2) the Teaching Campus Program has a positive and significant effect on Numeral Competence with tcount > ttable. (4.555 > 1.674) and a significance value of 0.001 <0.05. The resulting simple linear regression equation for the variable Literacy Competency (Y1) is Y = 46.244 + 0.003 X and for vairabel Numeration competence (Y2) is Y = 43.471 + 0.002 X.
