Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a website-based library information system. The research method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The results of this study prove that the assessment was carried out by 2 system experts with the first assessment of 81.00% and the second assessment of 80.00% indicating that this system is very feasible to use. For content expert assessment, 1 expert with a rating of 78.00% indicates that the content in this information system is feasible to use. The steps in this study use the ADDIE model, the development process is Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.

Abstract

This research objective probes every impact of leadership capability on performance at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, which is reduced by lecturer competence, lecturer commitment, and institutional accountability. The total of interviewees participating in that research was 188. Total interviewees or interviewees are lecturers at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. That research uses a quantitative approach. The data used in that research are primary data collected against the completed questionnaire outcome. The analytical technique used in this research was SEM-PLS analysis using the SmartPLS program. From the outcome of the analysis of that research, it can be concluded that the leadership capability of superiors at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang has a significant impact on institutional performance both directly and indirectly through lecturer competence, lecturer commitment, and institutional accountability. Good leadership capabilities will improve lecturer competence, lecturer commitment and institutional accountability which will further support the high performance of the university.

Abstract

One of the causes of accidents in the waters is the result of neglecting the point and the line of the ship. To indicate the presence of a ship using C-MAP, one way is to select a point using the save location in the navigator tools. Then when the ship starts sailing, immediately use the save track in the navigator tools to make a line. The minimum number of points that must be made is 5 pieces. The more places stored in a route, the neater the route will be. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collected in the form of a display. Although this application can be used offline, it demands that the user is always present and only uses this application and not in conjunction with other applications on one device. It would be more suitable if there is more than one user using this app, working in a teams or taking turns.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the Liveware 2.3 simulation application on student learning outcomes in the Basic Electrical Engineering Course in the Department of Electrical Engineering Education, Manado State University. This research is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study were students in semester 1 class of 2022 majoring in Electrical Engineering Education. The sample taken consisted of one class, namely Class A1 2022, which consisted of 18 people. The data analysis technique used to analyze the research data is by testing through statistical calculations. Student learning outcomes after being given treatment show better results, this can be seen in the average pre-test score of 51.23 and post-test of 72.50. The increase difference is 21.27. The results of the t-test show an increase in learning outcomes with a Tcount of 2.23 which is consulted on Ttable 1.64. Thus, student learning outcomes after being treated with the Liveware 2.3 simulation application show good results. Student learning outcomes after being given treatment (post-test) are better than before being given treatment (pre-test). With an average learning result of 72.50 and obtained Tcount = 2.23>Ttable = 1.64.

Abstract

The development of education demands a learning mechanism that is adaptive to all conditions. The results of observations show that students' understanding of concepts and communication skills is still low. The factor for the low understanding of concepts and student communication skills is that there is a lack of variety in the implementation of lectures. The solution to this is learning by using the problem-based learning (PBL) model using the edmodo application. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model using the edmodo application in improving students' understanding of concepts and communication skills. This type of research is a quasi experiment. The research design is nonrandomized pretest-pottest groups. PBL learning model using edmodo application can improve students' concept understanding (p-value = 0.008 < α (α = 0.05) and can improve students' communication skills (p-value = 0.008 < α (α = 0.05).

Abstract

This study's objective was to determine and evaluate the impact of compensation and the workplace on teachers' performance in private schools, involving 70 teachers. The survey method is used in this study. A questionnaire technique was used to collect data. Path analysis was used to examine the data. The study's findings indicate that there is a direct relationship between pay and teacher performance with a Sig. 0.00 < 0.05, a direct relationship between the work environment and teacher performance with a Sig. 0.00 < 0.05, and a direct relationship between pay and the work environment. The study's conclusion is that the increase in teacher performance is determined by the compensation provided by the school and an adequate work environment.

Abstract

This study examines the value of religious moderation education on Friday sermon material from the perspective of participants in the national level MTQ Korpri V sermon competition in Kendari. Moderation exists in religious teachings, because all aspects of life are regulated in religion, including human attitudes and behavior which are part of morality. In addition to existing in religious teachings, moderation in general also exists outside of religious attitudes, such as in political, economic, social attitudes. culture and so on. Because moderation as an attitude and perspective does not exist in anything unless it will make something beautiful, flexible, and easy to accept, because it is more in line with human nature. Abstract

learning was carried out at Tatelek Elementary School, Manusak Village, East Kupang District, Kupang Regency. Implementation of this research aims to; 1) knowing and describing the social studies learning process at Tatelek Elementary School in Manusak Village; 2) designing interactive media based on local wisdom; and 3) actualizing interactive media based on local wisdom in social studies learning at SD Tatelek. This qualitative research is descriptive in nature involving fifth grade students as research subjects. The results of the implementation of this activity have a positive impact on each party. Teachers are more innovative and creative and more enriched in designing learning, especially social studies learning. In addition, the existence of media that is designed and provided for the school can be used as an example that adds to the teacher's insight in making and using learning media in class. Students as subjects and objects in participating in learning are also maximized. Achievement of IPS material is more effective and maximal. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that schools and local governments design various self-development activities, especially teachers in order to improve the quality of education

Abstract

Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) is a learning approach adopted from the United States that began to be implemented in Indonesia starting around the 2000s. Since then, there have been many studies examining the effectiveness of CTL compared to other approaches, one of which is the conventional approach. This study examines the results of comparative studies using meta-analysis. The aim was to describe the significance of CTL's effectiveness compared to conventional approaches by analyzing the effect sizes of 16 published studies. The studies analyzed were obtained from search results using the Publish or Parish application. The 16th study was obtained using the Google Scholar index with the criteria for the publication period of 2014 - 2019, the study contained the sample size, mean, standard deviation or variance of the experimental and control classes. The effect size and standard error of each study were analyzed using MS Excel. Furthermore, heterogeneity testing and combined effect size were analyzed using the JASP application. Based on the results of data analysis using a significance level of α = 0.05, Q = 0.388 was obtained with a p-value = 1.000. This shows that the effect sizes of the 16 studies analyzed are homogeneous or not heterogeneous. Based on the results of data analysis, an effect size of 0.106 was also obtained with a p-value of 0.692 at the 95% confidence level. The effect size is in the weak and insignificant category. Therefore it is concluded that the effectiveness of the application of CTL is not significant compared to the conventional approach.This could be due to the small effect size of some studies. In addition, studies that have large effect sizes also have large standard errors. This finding has implications for increasing teacher competence in implementing CTL.

Abstract

Folklore which is adapted into the form of performances are currently more interesting than folklore in written form. In perfomances, many educational messages are often inserted and highlighted based on the moral values of the character which can elevate the value of folklore itself. Research on the values contained in stories allows for the discovery of system that underlies the information of text. The result can be used as a reference in developing other folklore especially the development also can be used to develop the learner’s character. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data taken from text Calon Arang by I Gede Semadi Astra and I Wayan Bawa which is widely adapted into barong dance performances that are offered as a tourist attraction in Bali and also implemented in teaching literature at college.
