Abstract

This study aims to apply the Differentiated Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in Biology learning Ecosystem material by considering students' learning styles. PBL is a learner-centered learning approach and involves students to be active in the process of solving problems through investigation and collaboration between students. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research method in class X at a high school in Serang City. Data on students' learning styles were collected using observation techniques through questionnaires. The results showed that there was a diversity of student learning styles, with most students identifying visual learning styles. In addition, the application of differentiation-based PBL has a positive impact because it can express potential according to their interests so as to provide a more meaningful learning experience for them.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes and learning motivation of grade VIII students of SMPN 1 IV Jurai, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the application of the Teams Games Tournaments learning model on mathematics learning outcomes and motivation of grade VIII students of SMPN 1 IV Jurai, Pesisir Selatan Regency. The type of research used in this study is experimental research with research design is post-test only control group design. The population of this study was all grade VIII students of SMPN 1 IV Jurai, South Coast District. The sampling technique used in this study was random sampling so that class VIII4 was selected as an experiment class with twenty-one students and class VIII1 as a control class with twenty-two students. The instruments used are learning outcomes tests and student learning motivation questionnaires.

Abstract

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the implementation of technology in learning and its impact on student learning outcomes. The method used is a literature study by collecting data from journals and articles related to the implementation of technology in learning. The results show that the use of technology in learning can provide advantages such as increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of learning, facilitating learning skills, and enriching learning content. However, the use of technology also has disadvantages or negative effects such as dependence on technology and potential disruption of concentration. Therefore, the use of technology in learning needs to be managed properly and balanced, as well as developing balanced learning and digital skills for students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of technology in education and its impact on health in the school environment. The research method used is literature study by collecting data and information from trusted sources. The results of the study show that the use of technology in education has complex positive and negative impacts. Application of technology can help improve the quality of learning and assessment, open up opportunities for remote learning, develop students' digital skills, and pay attention to the safety and privacy of student data. However, the unwise use of technology can have negative impacts on students' health, such as sleep disturbances, eye fatigue, stress, and gadget addiction. The discussion in this study includes the factors that influence the application of technology in education, the positive and negative impacts of using technology on students, as well as strategies that can be implemented to minimize the negative impacts and maximize the positive impacts of the application of technology in education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between learning Islamic Religious Education on Assertive behavior of class VII A students at SMP AL-AMAANAH Tasikmadu. Islamic Religious Education Learning is a systematic process that aims to develop understanding and awareness of Islamic religious teachings and practices. Assertive behavior is an attitude and way of interacting with others that is characterized by clear, firm and straightforward self-expression, while still respecting the rights and feelings of others. This study uses a correlational quantitative method. The population in this study were 32 class VII A students at SMP AL-AMAANAH Tasikmadu. Collecting data in this study by questionnaire method. While the data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis techniques which were processed using SPSS software. The results showed that (1) the learning of Islamic Religious Education at SMP AL-AMAANAH Tasikmadu was proven by analyzing the questionnaire, which consisted of 32 respondents in the medium category, namely 62.5%. (2) Assertive behavior as evidenced by analyzing the questionnaire, which totaled 32 respondents were in the medium category, namely 65.6% (3) There was a very strong influence between learning Islamic Religious Education on Assertive behavior of class VII A students at AL-AMAANAH Middle School Tasikmadu. This is known from the results of the Pearson correlation test of 0.821 > 0.05 and it is at a very strong level of relationship, namely at the criterion number 0.75 to 0.99..

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of student interaction on the improvement of English speaking skills. Interactions between students and other students as well as interactions between students and instructors will be analyzed. Interactions that occur both inside and outside of the classroom are crucial to both the learning process and the process of acquiring English. This study is qualitative and descriptive in nature. The learning process consists of a sequence of implementations by educators and students. In this case, there will be reciprocity between students and instructors in order to attain certain objectives. This relationship is known as interaction, and it can occur both inside and outside of the classroom. It is necessary for students to interact both inside and outside of the classroom to improve their English speaking abilities. The interaction includes question-and-answer exchanges, the exchange of ideas, and conversations. This includes interactions between students and instructors as well as interactions between students. This has been shown to enhance the English-speaking skills of STIKES Ngudia Hussada Madura students. Those who prefer to be passive make little to no progress in speaking English, in contrast to those who frequently engage in conversation.

Abstract

Pragmatic modern society has a tendency to reduce humans to machines that have no will. Existentialism seeks to place humans according to their nature rather than relying on the role of machines, so Heidegger's thought is present which completely diverts metaphysical and epistemological questions to ontological questions. Heidegger did not specifically review educational concepts. However, because his thoughts pertain to the fundamental of issues, namely being/being, he can permeate a wide variety of fields of study, including those relating to discussions of educational problems. So, in this study the aim is to discuss and present Heidegger's ideas that intersect with educational concepts. The research method used is the method of library research (library research). This type of research relates to books, documents, journals and various other important references related to the title that I have analyzed to draw relevant conclusions according to the point of view. The conclusion of this research is humans are unique from one another depending on how they are able to have space and time authentically. The positive side of Heidegger's thought is that education in Heidegger's existentialism discourse must be able to find the authenticity of each student by changing the direction and goals of education, teacher concepts, student concepts, curriculum, and learning materials.

Abstract

The existence of Salaf pesantren which is suspected to be affiliated with jihadists lately has strengthened the presence of a new traditional pesantren typology namely Salafi-jihadis. Typology pesantren are considered vulnerable to radicalism and terrorism. This article reveals the resilience of the Salafi jihadi pesantren literacy culture which is allegedly affiliated with radical jihadist groups. This was done to determine the extent of the existence of salaf-jihadis pesantren literacy. The majority of people questioned the relevance of pesantren to the spread of radicalism and terrorism issues. The data of this study were collected through observation and in-depth interviews with former convicted terrorists (suspected theorists) as well as managing Salafi-jihadis pesantren as well as several religious teachers at the pesantren. The findings of this study indicate that the salafi-jihadis pesantren teach jihad fiqh up to the ahkamudiammah chapter. However, according to the boarding school manager, the jihad literacy taught in the pesantren is recognized as having no connection with radicalism and terrorism. The findings of this study can have implications for the terminology of jihad to be pejorative. Although the majority of traditional Islamic boarding schools have diverse resistance to the issue of radicalism.

Abstract

Sport is an inseparable part of human life. This is because exercise is an important element in maintaining a healthy body. Sports extracurricular activities are one of the programs of the school as the development of sports achievements so that regeneration of achievements is always created and takes place in school activities so that they are well developed and supervised. Futsal is the most popular sport and is loved by Indonesian people, especially men from children, adolescents and adults. This is evident from the fact that people in both urban and rural areas are more fond of futsal than others. In the game of futsal required skills that must be owned by every player. The techniques in futsal are the same as those in football games, starting from passing, dribbling, control, chipping and shooting techniques. Shooting is a part of the most important technique in the game of futsal because this technique must be mastered by the players. A player must master the basic skills of kicking the ball and further improve the accuracy of shooting and scoring goals from various positions on the field. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative using survey methods. The population used is extracurricular participants at SMK Tamtama Karanganyar Kebumen. The number of samples in this study were 20 people. The variables of this study are physical conditions and basic techniques. Data analysis in this study used percentage descriptive data analysis
