Abstract

This research uses a type of qualitative research with a library research approach by exploring information through literature related to the management of the Arabic language learning curriculum in madrasah aliyah and to answer the focus of the study in this research. This study examines the definition of Arabic curriculum management, the implementation of Arabic language learning, the steps of Arabic language learning. Curriculum is one of the important things that must exist in an educational institution.

Abstract

Based on the results of the needs analysis in class V SD Negeri 28 Pontianak Selatan, learning in class V only uses thematic books so students become passive and students' critical thinking skills are low. Therefore, we need a learning tool that can make students active in learning as well as a learning model that can train students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to produce valid and practical Problem Based Learning worksheets for thematic learning in class V at State School 28 Pontianak Selatan. The research method used is Research & Development (R&D) to produce a new product, namely LKPD based on Problem Based Learning. The source of the data from this study were students in class V SD Neger 28 Pontianak Selatan and the data were questionnaire assessment scores from expert validators and students. The results showed that the LKPD Based on Problem Based Learning had an average value of 3.79 with a very valid category and the LKPD Based on Problem Based Learning had an average practicality value of 3.83 with a very practical category with a review of the assessment of language aspects, material, design, and practicality with a review of the trial results to students.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how students' ability to master mathematical concepts and solve mathematical problems after implementing learning with a metacognitive approach. This type of research uses an experimental method. The design used in this study was a pretest–posttest control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XII IPA which were divided into 2 classes, both of which were directly sampled. The results of the study showed that first, students' ability to master concepts and solve mathematical problems as a whole, before being given learning with a metacognitive approach and conventionally did not differ, both were almost the same, namely 63.12 and 61.72. Prior to learning, the ability to master the concept and solve mathematical problems of students who will be taught with a metacognitive approach is slightly better than students who will be given conventional learning. Second, students who received learning with a metacognitive approach obtained an increase in their ability to master concepts and solve mathematical problems better than students who studied mathematics with conventional learning methods, namely experiencing an increase of 0.84 with conventional learning methods and 7.58 in learning with a metacognitive approach. Third, the learning gain of students whose learning is done using a metacognitive approach is overall better than the learning gain of students whose learning is conventional, even though both are in the moderate category. Student learning gains in the aspect of understanding concepts are not too different between students who learn with a metacognitive approach and students who learn conventionally.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of innovation in the Islamic education curriculum to improve students' character and ethics. Innovation in Islamic education is a must in facing the various challenges faced by the younger generation in the modern era. By implementing innovation, Islamic education can become more relevant, interesting, and effective in shaping students' character and ethics. Some of the innovative approaches discussed in this study include a holistic approach in character and ethics learning, the integration of Islamic values ​​in every aspect of the curriculum, the use of technology in teaching ethics and morality, the use of Islamic digital applications and platforms, and experiential learning. Through the implementation of these innovations, it is hoped that students will be able to experience a fun, active, and in-depth learning experience about ethical values ​​in Islam. The conclusions show that innovation in the Islamic education curriculum is the key to forming a young generation who has good morals, has noble character, and is able to face various challenges in life with full confidence and moral awareness.

Abstract

activities at Mts Ibadurrahman Lolo. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The research instrument was the researcher himself who played a role in collecting data and information on research objects by conducting field observations, and was equipped with stationery and cellphones to document the research process. In this study, the types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using observation/direct observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. Then the procedure for analyzing the data in this study was carried out with the stages of data reduction, data collection, as well as verification and concluding. From the results of the study, it was found that Randai's extracurricular activities were a means for developing students' talents in the field of performing arts. Randai extracurricular activities at MTs Ibadurrahman Lolo are carried out in several stages, namely; 1) activity planning, 2) activity implementation, and 3) evaluation of Randai extracurricular activities. Character building in Randai extracurricular activities contains several aspects, namely; 1) the value of customs, 2) historical education, 3) cultural education, 4) discipline, 5) cooperation, 6) creative, 7) curiosity, 8) love of the motherland, and 9) moral values.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain empirical evidence regarding the influence of publication documents, citations, and H-index on accredited international publications in the Scopus database within the Asiatic region, focusing on education in relation to the education index. The testing conducted in this study employs a multiple regression approach using data from the Asiatic region, comprising 22 countries. The data utilized in this research consists of the education index data for the year 2023, while data related to research documents, citations, and H-index are from the year 2022. The results of the study indicate that the quantity of publication documents and citations does not have an impact on the education index in the Asiatic region. Conversely, the influence of a researcher's publication productivity and impact on society (reflected by the H-index) significantly and positively affects the education index in the Asiatic region.

Abstract

The message being conveyed can have many meanings depending on the perspective of the recipient of the message. This tempts the author to raise the topic of this presentation on the semiotic analysis of the Halal logo as a communication with its own uniqueness. Messages that are compatible with the vision, mission, soul and personality of the institution, as well as the halal logo, are considered elements included in the logo. Authors refer to journal articles, books and presentation materials using Pierce's method of semiotic analysis. The purpose of this study is to provide a semiotic analysis of the Indonesian halal logo published by the Halal Product Guarantee Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPJPH). As well as knowing the comparison between the logos issued earlier and the latest.

Abstract

Based on the author's observation of class VIII students at SMPN 9 Kota Bogor. Some students still lack interest in Islamic Religious Education subjects. In this case, the need for encouragement from parents in educating and guiding and supervising students to grow and arouse students' interest in learning in Islamic Religious Education subjects, so that the better the parents' parenting style, the higher the students' learning interest in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine the parenting style applied by parents of students in class VIII SMPN 9 Bogor City, to determine students' learning interest in class VIII SMPN 9 Bogor City and to determine the effect of parenting style on students' interest in learning Islamic religious education in class VIII SMPN 9 Bogor City. The method used in this research is quantitative with a field research approach to obtain or collect information about the influence of parenting styles on students' learning interest in Islamic Religious Education class VIII at SMPN 9 Kota Bogor. Then a simple linear regression test was carried out using SPSS 22 to find out the significant results of the effect of parenting style on students' learning interest in Islamic Religious Education class VIII at SMPN 9 Bogor City with the T test. If T is calculated at a significant level of 0.05% with degrees of freedom (df) = N-2 (81-2) = 79, Tcount = 4.816 > Ttable 1.664. Because Tcount > Ttable, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an influence of parenting styles on students' learning interest in class VIII Islamic Religious Education at SMPN 9 Bogor City.

Abstract

The Osongkapali tradition is a hereditary tradition carried out by the Kenagarian Sungai Patai indigenous people, Sungayang District, Tanah Datar Regency. The Osongkapali tradition is one of the unique burial processes of the princes in West Sumatra. Osongkapali is a coffin used to carry the body of the prince when the prince dies. The purpose of this study was to (1) find out the procession for holding the funeral of the prince's remains at Kenagarain Sungai Patai, Sungayang District, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra in 1994-2023. (2) To find out the transformation of the funeral procession for the leader's funeral at Kenagarain Sungai Patai, Sungayang District, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra in 1994-2023. This study uses historical research methods. First, heuristics (data collection), primary or secondary data. Second, source criticism, internal and external criticism.
