Abstract

This research discusses religious diversity which is a natural part of the modern school environment. Each school member adheres to a different religion, has different traditions, and celebrates different religious holidays. Therefore, it is very important for schools to create an atmosphere where everyone, regardless of religion or belief, can feel welcome. Islam, Catholicism, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism and Confucianism are some of the religions widely practiced in Indonesia. The research aims to find out how students' attitudes respect diversity by using quantitative research methods by collecting data through questionnaires given to grade 8 students at SMP Negeri 14 Medan with a total of 26 respondents. This data will be analyzed statistically to determine students' understanding of religious diversity. As a pluralistic nation, Indonesia will certainly face small conflicts and even major betrayals. The disintegration of the nation will certainly have an impact if this disease is not treated. For this reason, it is necessary to instill an understanding of religious pluralism without conflict in students from childhood.

Abstract

The ability of early childhood to master calistung is a proud achievement for parents and makes a benchmark for success in educating children. This arises from the demands of lessons at the next level of education and the comparison of children who have brilliant abilities in calistung. So it is not uncommon for parents to force early childhood to learn calistung by not paying attention to the stages of child development that can affect children's mental intelligence which includes all psychic elements and actions performed or psychomotor and psychophysical. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method in analyzing existing data and poured in the form of descriptive writing with the subject of reading, writing and counting skills (calistung) in early childhood. The results of the study provide an understanding to parents and teachers of the impact caused by giving calistung to children due to compulsion and demands that do not pay attention to the psychological development of children. This makes one of the bases for parents and teachers to pay attention to child development in the calistung learning process by not demanding results in calistung skills, and how to apply fun calistung to early childhood.

Abstract

Anxiety is a state of mind that is associated with concern and has both physical and psychological components. According to the pre-survey data on futsal athletes in Lampung, 83.3% of them had a heartbeat that pounded, 76.7% were shivering, 70% were lethargic, and 66.7% were urinating. Then, athletes who suffer anxiety based on psychological factors, including athletes thinking about other things than competing by 73.3% and not confident by 70%, and feel unhappy when they do not compete. The objective of this study was to determine the correlation between mental toughness and anxiety facing matches in futsal athletes in Lampung.Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi product moment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah atlet futsal di Lampung yang sudah pernah menghadapi pertandingan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 100 yang berasal dari berbagai daerah di Lampung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang sangat signifikan antara ketangguhan mental dengan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,01) dan nilai korelasi sebesar -0,348. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi ketangguhan mental yang dimiliki atlet, maka kecemasannya akan menurun. Sebaliknya, apabila atlet memilliki ketangguhan mental yang rendah, maka kecemasannya tinggi.

Abstract

Analysis of language errors on online media in Dompu is an activity to identify errors in the use of languge that deviates from the norms of Indonesian grammar rules in newspapers through online media. Based on the many errors in writing online newspapers in Dompu, the researchers are interested in conducting research on the form of language errors in online media in Dompu. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of language errors in online media using a qualitative descriptive method. The data of this research are language errors in newspapers in Dompu in the form of text with data collection techniques used in solving this research problem and using documentation techniques, reading techniques, and note-taking techniques. Then the data source in this study uses secondary data sources. The results of this study indicate language errors in online newspapers in Dompu include morphological aspects, namely affixation and reduplication, while from the syntactic aspect, namely effective sentences and senteces structure. However, there were still some errors found including errors in affixation, use of hyphens, use of prepositions and conjunctions, effective sentences and sentence structure. Language errors in online newspapers are the use of language, both oral and written, which deviates from the norms of Indonesian grammar rules that do not use guidelines or references in communicating

Abstract

factors, which involve the development of learning programs and delivery strategies or learning processes. What is no less important is how teachers design the teaching and learning process and carry out innovations in the learning process such as the utilization and use of media, teaching materials, and appropriate learning models that are adapted to the conditions of students so that learning objectives and student learning outcomes can be achieved in accordance with hopes to be achieved and get maximum results. This research aims to find out, 1) How the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is applied to Opportunity Material 2) What are the Student Learning Results Using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model. This research uses a qualitative approach where data is obtained using Miles Matthew analysis. B and Huberman Michael, which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and ending with drawing conclusions. The research results show that there is an increase in student learning outcomes by using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on Opportunity Material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in influence of the problem based learning and discovery learning model using wordwall media on students’ critical thinking skills. The research method used a quasi experimental pretest-posttest type. The population was 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta who were divided into two sample classes, namely experimental class with 36 students and control class with 36 students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Instruments or data collection techniques used tests, observation and documentation. The research data analysis techniques used normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis tests with t-test and anova. The result of t-test showed that there was a difference between students’ critical thinking skills of experimental class and control class. This can be proven from the result of independent sample t-test with value of t 2,87 (> ttable), and ANOVA test with calculated value of F 8,21 (> Ftable). Therefore, this can be concluded that the application of the the problem based learning and discovery learning model using wordwall media affects students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the improvement of mathematical representation skills of class VIII students totaling 25 students at SMP Negeri 2 Sibolga in the 2022/2023 academic year after being subjected to learning that applies Van Hiele theory assisted by Geogebra. The type of research is Classroom Action Research with procedures that have repeated stages in Cycle I and Cycle II, namely problems, action planning, action implementation, observation, data analysis and reflection. The research began by finding that the average mathematical representation ability of students before the action was still in the low category, namely 48.8 with a percentage of 20% classical completeness, then the average ability increased to 70.67 (high) with 60% classical completeness in cycle I, and 87.25 (high) with 80% classical completeness in cycle II. The increase managed to go higher, seen from the increase in the gain index value which in cycle I was 0.39 (low) to 0.75 (high). In Indicator 1, the representation ability increased from 44 (low) to 63 (medium) then to 81.5 (high). Indicator 2 ability increased from 46 (low) to 67.66 (medium) then to 88.25 (high). In Indicator 3, the ability increased from 54 (medium) to 78.5 (high). In addition, the ability of the teacher/researcher in processing classroom activities increased significantly which in cycle I was 2.32 with a sufficient category to 3.03 with a good category. Then, the percentage of student activity also increased from 61.1% with a sufficient category to 82.4% with a high category. Through the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of Van Hiele Theory with Geogebra assistance can improve the Mathematical Representation skills of 8th grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Sibolga in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

This research examines the application of technology in the context of evaluating educational programs at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Insan Intellectuals (MAN ICJ). Through this study, we explore the role and impact of technology in improving the educational program evaluation process at MAN ICJ. This research uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through observation, interviews and document analysis. The research results reveal that the use of technology, such as online education applications and data management systems, has helped increase efficiency in the collection, analysis and reporting of evaluation data. In addition, technology also provides opportunities to involve various stakeholders, such as students, teachers and parents, in the evaluation process. These findings provide valuable insight into how technology can be an effective tool for optimizing educational program evaluation at MAN ICJ while increasing transparency and accountability in education. Research shows that the use of technology, such as educational management systems and online evaluation tools, has made a positive contribution to improving the measurement of educational outcomes, monitoring student progress, and providing more timely feedback to stakeholders. These findings underline the importance of technology integration in the educational context and evaluation of educational programs at MAN ICJ. This study can be a guide for similar institutions that want to maximize the potential of technology in an effort to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The Konaweha River is one of the valuable natural resources in the Southeast Sulawesi region. This river not only serves as a vital water source for the community but also harbors a rich river ecosystem, playing a crucial role in maintaining environmental balance. Analysis related to flow characteristics and sedimentation is essential in formulating flood adaptation and mitigation measures. However, such analyses have been limited in important rivers in Indonesia, including the Konaweha River in Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. Therefore, this study aims to analyze changes in the riverbed elevation over a 10-year period from 2021 to 2030 due to sedimentation under daily discharge conditions. This research serves as a case study for sedimentation analysis through Sediment Transport Modeling. The modeling results indicate that the Konaweha River has the potential for Aggradation and Degradation. Based on sediment transport modeling, the Konaweha IV section (upper reaches) is dominated by Aggradation, while the Konaweha II and Konaweha III sections (middle reaches) show a tendency of both degradation and aggradation, with stability. In contrast, the Konaweha I section (lower reaches) is dominated by degradation, even though the riverbed elevation does not experience a significant increase during the period from 2021 to 2030. The total volume of aggradation and degradation over the 10-year period is 1,488,306 tons and 1,181,249 tons.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara peserta didik melalui strategi Tebak Kata pada tema pertama Membangun Indahnya Kebersamaan di kelas IV SDIT Tiara Islamic School Pekanbaru. Hal ini dipicu oleh rendahnya keterampilan berbicara peserta didik seperti: peserta didik tidak dapat mengungkapkan pendapatnya dengan benar, tidak dapat mengemukakan pendapat dengan intonasi yang jelas, kurang baik dalam mengemukakan pendapat, dan tidak dapat mengemukakan pendapat dengan struktur kalimat dan pilihan kata yang benar. . Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seorang guru dan 35 peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua siklus, dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi dan tes lisan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan persentase. Berdasarkan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi Guess the Word dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara peserta didik. Diketahui sebelum dilakukan perlakuan persentase kemampuan berbicara peserta didik sebesar 51,07% dan berada pada kategori rendah. Setelah penerapan strategi Guess the Word pada siklus I, persentase kemampuan berbicara peserta didik sebesar 62,79% dan berada pada kategori cukup tinggi. Pada siklus II persentase keterampilan berbicara peserta didik meningkat menjadi 83,68% dan berada pada kategori tinggi. Artinya indikator yang ditentukan telah lulus. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan strategi Tebak Kata dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara peserta didik di kelas empat SDIT Tiara Islamic School Pekanbaru.
