Abstract

This research aimed to find out: (1) the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education to improve students' mathematical communication skills and (2) the increase of students' mathematical communication abilities using the Realistic Mathematics Education. This is classroom action research used Kemmis and Taggart model design with four stages, namely Planning, Action, Observation and Reflection. The instruments used were tests of students' mathematical communication skills, questionnaires, observations and interviews. The research subjects were 36 students in class VIII grade of MTs Ar-Royyan. From data analysis, it was found that in cycle I students' mathematical communication skills reached 73.61% which meant achieving the level of classical learning completeness and in cycle II it was 86.11%. In other words, there was an increase in students' mathematical communication skills by applying the Realistic Mathematics Education.

Abstract

This research was aimed to analyze communication styles during teaching learning process in classroom. The research was conducted by using qualitative descriptive design. The data of this study were the utterances of teaching learning process in a classroom which is a conversation classroom in an English Institution Course, which was transcribed into the written form. The conclusion that can be drawn is that all of the types of communication styles basically occurred in the teaching and learning process. The types of physical communication styles are aggressive, passive, passive – aggressive, and assertive. In the teaching and learning process, assertive communication styles was the dominant communication style happening in the process for 67%, followed by Passive as 16%, passive – aggressive 12%, and aggressive 5%. It showed that the assertive communication style is the dominant style that is used in teaching and learning process as this style is the good style to comfort people while communicating each other. So, to convey message especially in teaching learning process, it is needed an effective communication to achieve the nature of the learning itself.

Abstract

Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler adalah kegiatan pendidikan di luar jam sekolah yang ditujukan untuk membantu siswa dalam mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki sesuai dengan kebutuhan, ketertarikan, bakat, dan minatnya. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler ini mempunyai peran yang strategis untuk kelanjutan pendidikan siswa. Namun kenyataannya banyak sekolah/madrasah yang belum sepenuhnya menyadari akan hal tersebut dan jika dilakukan pelaksanaannya tidak di mana dengan benar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis manajemen kesiswaan bidang ekstrakurikuler di SMK Budi Tresna Muhammadiyah Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan triangulasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengkoleksi data, mensortir data, menyajikan data dan menarik kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian ini yaitu : (1) Proses perencanaan diawali dengan rapat di awal tahun pelajaran yang melibatkan stakehoulders lembaga, untuk menetapkan jenis ekstrakurikuler, sarana prasarana dan anggaran. (2) Proses pengorganisasian dengan membagi tugas dan tanggung jawab pada mereka yang kompeten dibidangnya dengan dibantu kepengurusan ditiap ekstrakurikuler. (3) Proses aktuating adanya peran dari kepala sekolah/wakil kepala kesiswaan dalam memberikan pengarahan, motivasi dan pembinaan untuk menggerakkan terlaksananya program esktrakurikuler meliputi latihan rutin, berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan sosial, mengikuti lomba di luar lembaga maupun di dalam lembaga. (4) Proses pengawasan dan evaluasi mengacu pada daftar hadir pembina, daftar hadir peserta didik, koordinasi antara pembina dan pengurus, laporan kegiatan, prestasi yang diraih, hasil karya peserta didik dan penilaian peserta didik. (5) Faktor pendukung, adanya komunikasi yang baik antara pembina dan peserta didik, adanya dukungan dari orang tua siswa (6) Faktor penghambat, kegiatan PKL siswa, kurang aktifnya pengurus ekstrakurikuler, rendahnya minat peserta didik.

Abstract

The reason for this exploration is to decide the execution of the town head's authority style at the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic All inclusive School. The authority style of the town head in fostering the personality of understudies to work on their discipline in love at the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Live-in School. At the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School, what are the outcomes of the development of male village heads in developing the character of male students to improve their worship discipline? This kind of exploration is subjective. A descriptive method is used in the research method. Information assortment methods use meetings, perception and documentation. Information investigation, including information decrease, information show and information legitimacy really looking at process. Research results show that: 1) The Town Head's Authority Style in Fostering the Personality of Santri to Further develop Love Discipline at the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Life experience School utilizes a Vote based authority style. ( 2) Popularity based initiative completed by the Pondok subdistrict head is a wide range of endeavors to foster understudies, putting forth attempts through management, addresses, guidance, inspiration, as well as discipline/sanctions. ( 3) supporting elements in fostering the personality of santri to work on the discipline of santri love: the capacity of the town head to teach the santri and direct direction from the town head and executives through address strategies, counsel, direction and course to the santri, the accessibility of offices. The hindering elements in fostering the personality of understudies: absence of mindfulness of understudies in the discipline of love and absence of discipline in separating their time.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine if teacher professional competence may be increased via education and training. A random lottery was employed to choose a sample of 100 instructors for this study. Data analysis and data visualization are provided through summaries and formulations in numerical form since descriptive statistical methods were used to process the data collected through surveys and document studies. Validity and reliability testing may be used to assess the requirements for the study, and basic linear regression analysis techniques can be used to evaluate the data and generate hypothesis judgments. A correlation value of 0.6 was found based on data processing with the SPSS, and the contribution of variable H0 is rejected as the sig value is less than 0.03, as determined using probability procedures. Thus, it can be inferred from these two approaches that training and education have an impact on raising the professional competence of teachers

Abstract

This article offers an idea of imagination looking at the reality of accounting science and the practice of accountants in the middle of the background of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) where the world of simulacra and simulation applies. Baudrillard's thinking is used as an eyeglass in looking at the reality of IR 4.0 to obtain a picture of possible movements that occur in the role of accountant(ing) in generating the reality of company performance. The four stages of the simulacra process are used to see the possible shifts that occur in the reality of financial reporting during hyper-reality challenges. Hyper-reality, simulacra, and simulation thinking as critical analysis tools for the presence of IR 4.0 bring to self-awareness that reality can be formed. The accounting process and output should not only be a value of symbol signs and values, but something also that is false and does not show the truth.

Abstract

This research aims to examine (1) the influence of Introduction to the Schooling Field (PLP) on interest in becoming a teacher, (2) the influence of perceptions of the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher, (3) the influence of self-efficacy on interest in becoming a teacher, (4) the influence of the family environment in moderating Introduction to the Schooling Field (PLP) on interest in becoming a teacher, (5) the influence of the family environment in moderating perceptions of the teaching profession on interest in becoming a teacher, and (6) the influence of the family environment in moderating self-efficacy on interest in becoming a teacher among FKIP UNS Economic Education students. The data collection method used was a questionnaire distributed via Google Form with a population of 118 students and a sample of 91 students. The sampling technique used is probability sampling technique and the type of sampling technique is proportionate random sampling. The analysis in this research uses MRA (Moderating Regression Analysis). Based on the test results, it was found that (1) Introduction to the Schooling Field (PLP) had no significant effect on interest in becoming a teacher, (2) Perception of the Teacher Profession had a negative and significant effect on interest in becoming a teacher, (3) Self-Efficacy had a positive and significant effect on interest in becoming teachers, (4) Family environment is not able to moderate Introduction to the Schooling Field towards interest in becoming a teacher, (5) Family environment is not able to moderate Teacher Professional Perceptions towards interest in becoming a teacher, and (6) Family environment is able to moderate Self-Efficacy towards interest in becoming a teacher. Therefore, the results of this research can be a benchmark for students to increase their interest in becoming a teacher.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental research. The objectives of this study are to: (1) determine the influence on the use of the geogebra-assisted Discovery Learning model on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts, (2) know the influence of KAM on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts, (3) know the interaction between geogebra-assisted discovery learning models and KAM on students' mathematical concept understanding ability, (4) find out how much influence on the use of geogebra-assisted Discovery Learning models to the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students. The instrument used is a test of the ability to understand mathematical concepts. The results of this study show that: (1) Geogebra-assisted discovery learning model has a significant effect on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts, (2) Students' initial mathematical ability has a significant effect on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts, (3) there is no interaction between the geogebra-assisted discovery learning learning model and KAM on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts, (4) the geogebra-assisted discovery learning model has an influence of 87.8% on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in experimental classes and the other 12.2% is influenced by other factors that affect students' abilities.

Abstract

Issues in education today involve inequality of access, lack of resources and the challenges of adapting to technology. The goals of education are to create an inclusive environment, improve the quality of learning, and prepare young people for the demands of the global era. This study used samples from various circles of principals, teachers and education staff, students, and parents/guardians who study or work at SMK Negeri 1 Bantul. This research uses descriptive statistical techniques. In researching the role of school leadership at SMK Negeri 1 Bantul, it was concluded that school leadership has a positive impact on the educational environment that supports edupreneurship. Even so, barriers such as lack of support and resources still need to be overcome.

Abstract

The Importance of Artificial Intelligence cannot be ignored in this era. Artificial Abilities intelligence to process data quickly and accurately allows us to make more informative and intelligent decisions. In the education sector, Artificial intelligence has opened up new opportunities in enhancing the learning experience. The aim of this research is to determine publication trends related to Artificial intelligence in education in the last decade. Data is taken from the database Scopus which was then refined through 4 stages. Method used is method analysis bibliometrics. Research results show that amount publication related Artificial intelligence in continuing education increase since 2014 to in 2022. Analysis of research focus reveals three main clusters in Artificial research intelligence in education, each reflecting a focus on the use of Artificial intelligence in general learning, medical education, and higher education. This information helps researchers and policy makers to understand the dominant trends in research and allocate resources wisely. The emergence of new keywords such as chat gpt shows that Artificial intelligence continues to develop in education. This creates new opportunities for research and development in this area, which researchers and practitioners need to engage in to remain relevant.
