Abstract

The poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost is one of the world's most famous works of literature. The translation of this poem into Indonesian presents its own challenges for the translator, especially in maintaining the style, atmosphere, and message desired by the poet. This study aims to analyze stylistic changes that occur in the translation of this poem from English to Indonesian. Using a comparative approach, this study compares stylistic elements such as diction, metaphor, rhyme, and rhythm between the original text and the translation. Robert Frost's poems received many prestigious international awards, including the Nobel Prize. The poem is characterized by its depth, its mysterious nature, and its profound meaning. As mentioned earlier, many critics have varying perspectives when analyzing this poem. Regardless of his interpretation, Frost effectively provides readers and literary enthusiasts with various literary components that can be analyzed in the text. The many literary elements contained in this poem make it interesting to listen to.

Abstract

Shopee Paylater's current usage has increased drastically as a result of the post-pandemic transition of its majority millennial user transactions especially among college students whose majority is literacy and promotion as a factor of influence. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of literacy and promotion on the use of Shopeepay paylater on postgraduate students of IAIN Parepare. Result Research is a field research (Field Research) which is quantitative with an associative approach to knowing the influence of literacy and promotion on the use of Shopeepay paylater in postgraduate students of IAIN Parepare. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive with an associative approach. Which aims to find out the relationship between two variables or more.Research results show that: (1) Literacy (X1) has a significant influence on the use of Shopeepay paylater, proven with a significance value of 0,000 > 0.05 and a regression coefficient of 0.724.(2) Promotion (X2) has a significant influence on the use of Shopeepay paylater, demonstrated with a significance value of 0,801 < 0,05 and a regression coefficient of 0,037. (3) Then literacy (X1) and promotion (X2) have simultaneously or jointly influenced the use of Shopeepay paylater, proving a F-count value of 25,736 > F-table is 3.11 with a sig. p= 0,000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Ecological footprint is one of the indicators that can be used to see the condition of environmental carrying capacity and sustainable economic development. The aim of this research is to analyze the long-term influence of GDP per capita, trade openness and energy consumption on the ecological footprint in ASEAN countries. Secondary data used in this research was obtained from official information sources, namely the Global Footprint Network (GFN), the World Bank, and Our World in Data. The analytical method used in this research is Fully Modified Ordinary Least Square (FMOLS) and uses panel data with a total of 160 data in the research period 2000-2019. The research results show that the variables GDP per capita, trade openness and energy consumptionon have a positive and significant influence in the long term on the eological footprint in ASEAN countries.

Abstract

Studi sosiolinguistik ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan bahasa dan representasi identitas dalam berita konflik Israel-Palestina yang disajikan oleh berbagai sumber media sosial. Melalui analisis terhadap lima berita yang dipilih dari sumber-sumber yang berbeda, kami mengevaluasi bagaimana penggunaan bahasa, framing berita, persepsi, dan konteks mempengaruhi representasi konflik tersebut. Temuan kami menunjukkan variasi dalam pendekatan pemberitaan antara sumber-sumber tersebut, yang mencerminkan identitas sosial, budaya, dan politik dari masing-masing entitas pemberita. Misalnya, pemilihan kata yang formal dan diplomatik dalam satu sumber berita dapat menonjolkan stabilitas hubungan diplomatik antara China dan Iran, sementara penggunaan bahasa informal dalam sumber lainnya dapat menggambarkan empati dan dukungan terhadap tindakan kemanusiaan di Gaza. Hasil dari analisis ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga tentang bagaimana bahasa digunakan untuk merepresentasikan identitas dan pandangan dalam konteks konflik yang kompleks, serta implikasinya terhadap pemahaman publik dan persepsi masyarakat tentang konflik tersebut.

Abstract

Workplace placement is the process of assigning tasks and jobs to prospective workers who pass the selection to be carried out according to a predetermined scope, and are able to account for all risks and possibilities that occur regarding their duties and work, authority and responsibility, which is also a series of processes. after recruitment and selection to determine positions according to their abilities in order to complete work effectively and efficiently as determined by the organization. In the placement of workers, knowledge and experience and ability are needed in carrying out their duties and if experts are not doing it then there will be destruction or failure, so to achieve success you need the right placement according to their skills. This research is library research and is included in the qualitative research approach. Data collection was carried out directly from various relevant literature, including research articles. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of data analysis show that workforce placement influences employee performance in education service agencies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh antara metode recovery dengan stretching statis dan metode recovery dengan mendengarkan musik klasik terhadap kelelahan. Indikator kelelahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah denyut nadi istirahat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian menggunkan one-group pretest-postest design. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria sampel adalah menyukai musik klasik dan merupakan mahasiswa angkatan 2023. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 20 sampel. Berdasarkan analisis data dan uji statistik yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil: (1) adanya pengaruh yang signifikan metode recovery stretching statis terhadap penurunan denyut nadi dengan nilai signifikansi 0.001 dimana (P < 0,05); (2) adanya pengaruh yang signifikan metode recovery mendengarkan musik klasik terhadap penurunan denyut nadi dengan nilai signifikansi 0.001 dimana (P < 0,05); (3) tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh antara metode recovery stretching statis dengan metode recovery mendengarkan musik klasik terhadap penurunan denyut nadi dengan nilai signifikansi 0.294 dimana (P>0,05). Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa baik metode recovery stretching statis dan metode recovery mendengarkan musik klasik merupakan metode yang dapat menjadi pilihan dalam percepatan proses pemulihan atau mengatasi kelelahan yang berarti karena sama-sama memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penurunan denyut nadi.

Abstract

Understanding algebra concepts necessary in learning mathematics. However, unfortunately there are still students who have difficulty understanding the mathematical concepts of algebra material. The aim research is to find out how students understand the mathematical concepts of algebra material at Nurul Hidayah Islamic Middle School. This research quantitative descriptive. The instruments essay questions and data collection using written tests. The research results show that students' conceptual understanding high category 38%, medium category 38%, low category 8% and very low category 15%. The research results also showed that students' conceptual understanding first indicator 84.62%, included high criteria, the second indicator 76.92%, included in the high criteria, the third indicator 90.38%, included the high criteria. Included very high criteria, the fourth indicator 50.00% is included low criteria, the fifth indicator 32.69% is included very low criteria, the sixth indicator 36.54% is included very low criteria. and the seventh indicator 40.38% is included low criteria. Students' conceptual understanding of several indicators is still low, namely the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh indicators, so teachers need to pay more attention to these indicators so that students can understand algebraic concepts.

Abstract

This research emphasizes the importance of digital literacy in strengthening national resilience and maintaining the nation's sovereignty in the digital era. Using qualitative analysis of secondary data, this research reveals that digital literacy involves effectively using technology and critically understanding and analyzing information. The method used in this research is a qualitative analysis of secondary data that includes regulations, policies, and initiatives related to digital literacy. The results show that digital literacy is essential in improving people's ability to use information and communication technology effectively and in understanding, analyzing, and using information critically to counter propaganda and fake news. The research also emphasizes the importance of integrating digital literacy education in the curriculum, learning programs, development of educational digital content, and related regulations. The study concludes that developing digital literacy programs that are inclusive and accessible to all levels of society is essential to strengthening national resilience.
