Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of absorption elements in the report text of the observations of class X students of SMAN 5 Depok. In compiling the work steps, the research method used to analyze this text uses a descriptive method that aims to describe objectively the use of absorption elements contained in the text of the observation report. After analyzed the report text of class X students of SMAN 5 Depok, there were absorption elements with the process of adoption absorption, phonological adaptation, orthographic adaptation, phonological and orthographic adaptation, and morphological adaptation.

Abstract

Penggunaan media permainan monopoli keberagaman Indonesia dalam proses pembelajarannya dapat menciptakan kondisi yang menyenangkan bagi anak. Teknik permainan monopoli keberagaman Indonesia dapat dikembangkan untuk membantu penguasaan anak-anak terhadap aspek-aspek perkembangan khususnya pada materi keberagaman Indonesia. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan media monopoli dalam materi keberagaman Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi lapangan dan wawancara dengan sample penelitian sebanyak 18 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data, dan kesimpulan. Tujuan menggunakan metode tersebut adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang pembelajaran PPKn materi keberagaman Indonesia dengan menggunakan media permainan monopoli pada Anak Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penelitan yang diperoleh yaitu adanya peningkatan pencapaian nilai perkembangan anak dalam pembelajaran PPKN materi keberagaman Indonesia antara sebelum dan sesudah melakukan kegiatan dengan menggunakan media permainan monopoli. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat pada kegiatan akhir penelitian, nilai perkembangan mereka meningkat mulai dari belum berkembang sampai akhir nilai perkembangannya mencapai berkembang sangat baik, sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa dengan pembelajaran PPKn materi keberagaman Indonesia dengan menggunakan monopoli anak menjadi lebih berkembang.

Abstract

This study is based on the lack of students’s interest on mathematics subject, the teacher only used text book where its display is not interesting at all for the students. Beside that, the lack of the students’ interest is also due to unavailable IT based - teaching media at school. The purpose of the study is to figure out the validity of teaching video of mathematics subject based on power point, which is developed for the students of grade VIII of SMPN 2 Sintuk Toboh Gadang. Developing model used is ADDIE, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Products were validated by three validators, 2 mathematics lecturers, 1 Indonesian lecturer. The result of validation shows that 87,29% mean of design which is very valid, 75% of pedagogical aspect which is valid, 82,29% of content validity which very valid, and 83,38% of language validity which is very valid. Therefore, generally, the video designed is valid and can be tested.

Abstract

Philosophy is a science that discusses the problems of human life and thought, in the world of philosophy education it must be used as an exercise in critical thinking. Education is a place where teachers and students work for the same goal, namely to make someone intellectually and emotionally capable. Therefore, it must be formed formally or informally. Given that education is normative and perspective, the philosophical basis of education is a very important field to study. We will also understand who we teach, what we teach and how we teach it thanks to our educational philosophy. It is a set of values that guides how we behave professionally in our work and how we respond to adversity. This article was created by conducting a descriptive study of sources that discuss the philosophical foundations of education. The focus of this article is an explanation of the basics of educational philosophy, namely the meaning of philosophy, the importance of educational philosophy, the field of educational philosophy, the main provisions of educational philosophy and its benefits. of educational philosophy. It is hoped that this research will be useful for the UNTIRTA Serang academic community, especially for postgraduate students in basic education who teach courses on the philosophical basis of education.

Abstract

This research looks at how interactive multimedia influences learning outcomes in English, especially considering different learning styles. This research approach is a quantitative approach to the type of quasi-experimental research. The subjects of this study were class XII students at SMKN 7 Jakarta for the 2020/2021 academic year. This study used purposive cluster sampling to select two majors at SMKN 7 Jakarta, Graphic Design as the control group and Computer and Network Engineering as the experimental group, based on the characteristics of the departments. The number of students majoring in Graphic Design is 35 students while the Department of Computer and Network Engineering is 39 students. In the control group learning using sophisticated tools such as PowerPoint and media presentations the experimental group uses interactive multimedia learning tools such as flash. This research uses a quantitative approach because it is considered easier to analyze data using numbers so that it makes it easier to measure achievement. The results of this study indicate that interactive multimedia can be used to improve the English learning outcomes of students with different learning styles.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research. This study aims to analyze the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) model. The research method in this research is descriptive research. The subjects of this study were elementary school students. The collection of data obtained in this study is a literature study. The results of the research in this article show that the application of the STAD learning model is very good to be applied to increase the competitive attitude of elementary school students. The STAD model has 6 steps, namely: Delivering learning objectives and motivating students, presenting information, organizing students in groups, guiding work and study groups, evaluating, and giving awards. The impact of this learning can be seen during the learning process, namely by looking at the teacher and students who have implemented the 6 steps of the learning model correctly, so that the learning process goes well, the interaction between students and teachers or students and students also looks good, and students can interact in groups.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the Effect of Gadget Use on Social Behavior and Learning Achievement in Social Studies Learning in Elementary Schools. The method we use in this research is descriptive qualitative. This descriptive research is based on the results of the relevant data or literature sources that we have collected. Social sciences are subjects that are taught starting from elementary school using social science materials to study human relations as members of society. The results of this study are the use of gadgets in learning can facilitate obtaining information and improve social skills if used wisely. Gadgets have interesting features for students to use in learning so that students have high learning motivation which affects learning achievement. However, on the other hand, gadgets have negative effects such as addiction, and difficulty interacting and communicating well. The efforts made are that gadgets are used for learning purposes, time restrictions, reward, and punishment, as well as teacher and parent cooperation

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce Student’s Worksheet based on project-based learning model with has good validity, practicality, and effectiveness, for Geometry Solids lesson at students of class VIII SMP Negeri 18 Pekanbaru. This is development research by applying the ADDIE model procedure. The research subjects were 32 students in class VIII 8. The techniques data collection used were test and non-test techniques. The research instruments were validation sheets, practicality sheets, and learning achievement questions. The results showed that the Mathematics Student’s Worksheet with the Project Based Learning Model was included in the very valid category with an average score = 4.53, included in the very practical category with an average score = 4.12, and included in the effective category based on the calculation of the value and , which means that the proportion of students who have achieved KKM is more than 74.99%.

Abstract

Listening is a human activity more than just speaking, reading, and writing. Teachers must be creative in making learning media so that students understand the meaning of communication that occurs when learning takes place. based on observations made during class IV SD Negeri Pasir Gadung it can be seen that the teacher only uses reading text. The existence of media as a real object in learning really helps the process of delivering material. one of the media that is suitable for use, especially in listening to stories, is the Profession Puppet media. The advantages of this media mean that the presentation of short story material becomes more innovative, professional wayang media is also easy to use and can be taken anywhere. This type of research means pre-experimental with a single class pretest-posttest. The subjects in this study were all fourths grade students at Pasir Gadung State Elementary School for the 2022/2023 academic year, a total of 25 students. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and documentation. It can be seen from the results obtained in this study that 70 is the origin of the pre-test mean value and 82 is the origin of the post-test mean value using professional wayang media. This is a sign that learning using professional wayang influences the skills of listening to stories of fourth graders of Pasir Gadung State Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the process of Appropriateness, validation, feasibility, and effectiveness of using Simalungun ethnic-based teaching materials with application-assisted applications on negotiating text materials for class X SMK. This study was conducted in SMK PAB 5 Klambir V. The research method is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D model including Definition, Design, Development, and Dissemination with a population as 48 students. This study used a purposive sampling technique with a total of 23 students. The types of data include qualitative and quantitative data. The result of the study is a product of teaching materials in the form of a textbook based on Simalungun Batak ethnic. According to the results of the material expert validation, validator I as 75%, and validator II as 98%. While the results of validation by design experts are validator I as 96%, and validator II as 84%. These data indicated that the teaching materials are valid and feasible to be tested in schools. The materials were tested in SMK PAB 5 Klambir V with a class X TKJ-2 as the sample, the teacher's response was 92%. The data were obtained from questionnaires consisting of the results of a small group trial categorized as "Very Satisfactory", the results of a limited trial categorized as "Very Satisfactory" and the results of a wider trial with the category "Very Satisfactory." These data indicated that the teaching materials are valid and suitable to be used in schools. It can be concluded that the teaching materials based on the Simalungun Batak ethnic are suitable to be used in classroom learning.
