Abstract

Student activeness in the learning process is very important because it encourages their deeper and more meaningful engagement with the subject matter. The problem of student activeness in learning is a challenge that is often faced in the world of education, where students are less involved or actively participate in the teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study is to explore how blended learning can stimulate students' activeness especially in the English learning process to class A, sixth semester students of English education study program at University of Nias. To conduct this research, the researchers used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews. The results of the data obtained about Blended learning stimulating students activeness in English teaching-learning process is Blended learning in English classes enhances students participation and activeness by utilizing online platforms and face to face group for interactive discussions and activities. With the results of this study, it is hoped that the teaching-learning methods carried out can vary and be tailored to the needs and interests of students such as this blended learning method so that students are more enthusiastic and comfortable when learning, especially when the teaching-learning process is taking place.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the implementation of Al Qur’an’s tahfiz program in Al Wathoniyah 9, Jakarta. The aspects studied include planning aspects, steps, and implementation obstacles and solutions. The purposes of this survey are: a. to analyze the implementation of the Tahfizh Al Qur’an program in Al Wathoniyah 9 Jakarta; b. to know the steps in the application of the Tahfiz Al Quran program in Al Watoniyah 9 Jakart; and c. to find out the obstacles and solutions in implementing the Tahfish Al Quran program in Al Wathoniah 9 Jakarta. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study approach at Al Wathoniyah 9, Jakarta. The data obtained from this research was obtained through observations, interviews, and documentation studies. Based on the data, the researchers used descriptive analysis, i.e., by describing or describing what the findings in the field related to the implementation of Al Qur’an’s tahfiz program at Al Wathoniyah 9 Jakarta. The results of the research indicate that the application of Al Quran’s Tahfiz program in Al Wathoniyah 9 Yakarta includes: 1) Planning, implementation, and Al Qur'an tahfis program done in a structured manner, which includes program setting, selecting pupils, setting time and material, making a reading book, and making an assessment of pupils. The researchers concluded that the planning was done well. Everything's on top of it. Thus, in the first instance, the teaching of the Scriptures and the teachings of the apostles, and in the second instance, the prophecy of the Bible, the Bible and the Bible are the principles of teaching, teaching, and teaching. The obstacles experienced were so minimal that the researchers could conclude that the study went well and worked.

Abstract

This study discusses the importance of applying cooperative learning models to Islamic learning. In the 14th Jakarta State School of Education, several problems were found in the learning of Islamic religious education, such as a lack of understanding of important concepts, low motivation and active involvement, as well as inequality of participation. One of the models of learning that can be implemented, cooperative learning, which is interesting to use in Islamic education, is a model that emphasizes participatory collaboration, positive interaction, and task-sharing to create a conducive learning environment. To address this, a cooperative learning model is proposed as a solution. The research emphasizes the importance of integrating interactive learning methods that are relevant to the needs and conditions of current learners in order to improve educational outcomes. Overall, SMKN 14 Jakarta has successfully implemented the cooperative learning model for the learning of Islamic religious education, which shows that teachers can apply innovative and effective teaching methods with appropriate school support. SMKN 14 Jakarta can be an inspiring example for other schools that want to adopt a similar approach to improving the quality of their education and creating a more dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Abstract

The study was undermined by the findings of symptoms of decreased reading of the Qur'an by pupils due to less attention from older people. The child does not follow tadarus on the grounds that there are religious lessons in his school, as well as the influence of internal and external factors, for which research is intended to reveal the role of the attention of the parents to the Qur'an of the pupils. This research aims to find out the influence of the attention of the parents in SMK N 40 East Jakarta on developing a good Koran Tilawah. The hypothesis that the researchers have proposed is Ha: There is an influence of the attention of the elderly on the revelations of the Qur'an of the students of SMK N 40 East Jakarta. The method used in this study is the method of quantitative correlation. Using a simple random sampling method, 35 students of SMK N 40 Jakarta were equipped with data collection and observation techniques. In analyzing using product moment correlation techniques, The results of the study show that, if seen from the test coefficient, the product moment yields “rxy” or “ro” of 0.409, whereas “rt” in the table is significant at 5% = 0.339 and the degree is significant at 1% = 0.436. Thus, it can be known that "ro > “rt” is either significant at 5% or 1%. Then, based on the result, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted or approved, and the Nihil hypotheses (Ho) are rejected or not approved. Based on this research, it can be concluded that there is an influence of parent attention on students in SMK N 40 East Jakarta.

Abstract

Acquiring vocabulary is fundamental to mastering the four linguistic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Various methods exist for teaching vocabulary, one of which involves the use of gestures. Numerous previous studies underscore the significance of incorporating gestures in vocabulary instruction. Similarly, some studies have explored the use of sign language in classroom settings, as sign language employs gestures to convey the speaker's (signer's) meaning. However, research on this topic is rarely conducted in Indonesia. Consequently, the researcher undertook a similar study in Indonesia, involving 25 hearing EFL Indonesian learners who were randomly assigned to either an experimental or a control group. The vocabulary was delivered using two short stories containing the targeted vocabulary words. Following four treatment sessions, a vocabulary test was administered. The results indicated no significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group. This finding contradicts previous research that has demonstrated a significant difference in vocabulary acquisition between students who use sign language and those who do not. Future research could explore the effects of sign language on different subjects or with alternative methodologies to determine whether similar or different results will be obtained.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa pada muatan IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa menggunakan model Predict, Observe and Explain (POE) di kelas IV. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan selama 2 (dua) siklus, yang masing-masing siklus terdapat 2 (dua) kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Gunung 01 Pagi yang berjumlah 27 siswa. . Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan peserta didik serta dengan soal evaluasi kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Hasil peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa dapat dilihat setiap siklusnya dengan menggunakan soal evaluasi yang dikerjakan oleh siswa. Hasil penelitian tindakan kelas ini menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran POE dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi IPA di kelas IV SDN Gunung 01 Pagi. Siswa mengalami peningkatan dibuktikan dengan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi prasiklus 33,3%, meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 59,3%, dan pada siklus II mencapai 81,5%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of attitudes toward change on participation in change with perceived organizational support as a moderating variable. There are three hypotheses tested in this study. The variables are measured by a five-point Likert scale ranging from strongly disagree (1) to strongly agree (5). The population of the study is teachers working in vocational schools in Pariaman city, west Sumatera, Indonesia. There are sixty-five registered teachers in this school. The primary data is employed, which is gathered through a survey. This study applies the structural equation model using smart-pls. With 54 final samples, this study reveals that (i) the attitudes toward change have a positive effect on participation in change, (ii) perceptions of organizational support have a positive effect on participation in change, (iii) perceptions of organizational support moderate the relationship between attitudes to change and participation in change This study has a practical and theoretical contribution, which are discussed in this paper.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes which are often caused by the lack of variety in learning models and methods, thus reducing student interactivity. The main focus of learning activities is to achieve optimal learning outcomes through active student participation by utilizing advanced technology so that students are more active in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Picture and Picture Type Cooperative learning model assisted by Quizizz on science learning outcomes. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a one group pretest posttest design. The research targets amounted to 15 students. Data collection techniques include observation and tests. The results showed that the implementation of science learning in elementary schools using this learning model was 100% implemented. The increase in the average score from 61.33 (pretest) to 87.33 (posttest) shows the effectiveness of the model used. Science learning through this learning model is very effective, because the student completeness value has reached at least 75%. Based on the overall data analysis, there was a significant increase from pretest to posttest with an average value of 0.6744. The average value of N-Gain is in the moderate category because it is in the range of 0.3 ≤ N-Gain < 0.7. The implication of this study is that teachers can use this learning model to improve student learning outcomes and for other researchers it is recommended that they want to conduct replication research to see the consistency of the results that have been achieved.

Abstract

Problems in Reading skill shows the lack of understanding of eighth-grade students at Government Junior Islamic School 9 in Jakarta learning the Arabic language subject about “profession”. Because of their different educational backgrounds, some of them from primary school and Islamic institute, there are It is difficult to learn the Arabic language because there are still many students who cannot read the Arabic language.This research aims: to reveal the effectiveness of learning technology “SQ3R” And to reveal the extent to which students are proficient in the reading skill of the reading aloud subject among students in the eighth grade at Government Jumior Islamic School 9 in Jakarta.This research is a quantitative research. The research method is semi-experimental. Quasi-experimental method research is research that manipulates or controls natural conditions by creating artificial conditions. The method of selecting data is observation, documents, and pre- and post-test results.Test results are used t to determine whether there were differences between the two samples of this data, an t-table It was set at 1,687 while t-score 25,267. The effectiveness of the text cooperation learning model to improve reading skill on Arabic texts in pre- and post-test data. It is known that the value of (sig) (2 Tailed( It is 0,001 > 0,005 and based on tests with one variable and one sample (Single t-test) (sig) (2 tailed) in the amount of 0,005. Therefore, the largest level is 0,000 (Significance) Smaller than 0,005, then a result from tests with one variable and one sample )Single t-test( It has great results )Significant). This score indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) "Acceptable" The first hypothesis (H0) “Returned”.

Abstract

This final work aims to visualize smartphones as a means of access to life in digital painting works using a contemporary style. The idea for creating this work is a visualization of the use of smartphones whose benefits can be felt in life. The method in the process of creating digital painting works of art goes through several stages, namely: preparation, elaboration, synthesis, concept realization, and completion. Each work has a size of 100cm x 100cm with the title of the work, "financial transactions", "visual creativity", "communication", "visual recording", "virtual market", "comics and novels", "digital games", " music”, “virtual learning”, “audio visual”.
