Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa di kelas X DPIB 2. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental) merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yang melibatkan dua kelas diantaranya kelas X DPIB 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diberikan perlakuan/treatmen model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning serta kelas X TKL 1 sebagai kelas kontrol yang pembelajarannya konvensional. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Post-test Only Control Group Design. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes numerasi setelah memberikan treatmen (posttest). Data penelitian dianalisis melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji independen sample t-test. Hasil uji independent sample t-test adalah 0,007 < 0,05, hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas X DPIB 2 dengan nilai rata-rata di kelas eksperimen adalah 79,76, dan nilai rata-rata di kelas kontrol adalah 70,85.

Abstract

English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is essential in vocational education, tailoring language learning to meet professional needs. This research employed strategy analysis to explore ESP needs among 50 marketing students at SMKN 1 Bone, Indonesia. The data were collected using a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms during class hours and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The findings revealed strong preferences for interactive and career-oriented learning methods, emphasizing practical language applications. Students prioritized materials on product management and marketing strategy, favored group work, and highlighted reading as the most crucial sub-skill. Motivations for learning English included personal growth, career advancement, and international opportunities, underscoring the need to align curriculum with student preferences. Therefore, integrating student-centered approaches into ESP curriculum development is crucial for enhancing relevance and effectiveness. Future research is expected to explore longitudinal studies tracking language proficiency, comparative analyses across vocational schools for cultural insights, and evaluations of learning activities and motivational factors to enhance ESP education, ensuring students acquire essential language skills for global success

Abstract

Project-based learning in the Kurikulum Merdeka integrates psychological, sociological, and anthropological approaches to develop moral values and character in elementary school students. The psychological approach emphasizes individual development, intrinsic motivation, and socio-emotional skills. The sociological approach focuses on social interactions and structures that shape student behavior, while the anthropological approach enriches understanding of cultural diversity and universal values. Relevant and contextual projects allow students to not only apply academic knowledge but also internalize moral values such as empathy, cooperation, and tolerance. This study employs a literature review method to analyze the application of these three approaches in project-based learning. The results show that this holistic approach is effective in shaping students' character with integrity and high competitiveness in the future.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari keterampilan membaca teks Arab pada siswa kelas VIII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri9 Jakarta Pusat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suatu perlakuan terhadap orang lain dalam kondisi terkendali. Sampel dalam penelitian ini melibatkan 38 siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 9 Jakarta. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, serta pra-tes dan pasca-tes. Hasil tes dianalisis menggunakan uji-T untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara dua sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan membaca teks Arab siswa selama proses pembelajaran dengan model ini. Sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif berbasis teks, siswa belum mahir membaca teks Arab dengan baik. Namun, setelah penerapan model pembelajaran ini, kemampuan membaca teks Arab siswa meningkat. Analisis data menunjukkan hasil signifikansi sebesar 0,003, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05, sehingga hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Rata-rata hasil pre-test siswa adalah 63,8, sementara rata-rata hasil post-test adalah 89,3. Ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran skrip kooperatif . Dengan demikian, penggunaan model pembelajaran skrip kooperatif terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca teks Arab dibandingkan dengan tidak menggunakannya. Selain itu, hasil uji t menunjukkan nilai sebesar 22,949, yang jauh lebih tinggi dari nilai t tabel yang ditetapkan sebesar 1,687. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran skrip kooperatif memberikan pengaruh signifikan sebesar 22,9% dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca teks Arab siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work life balance, work motivation, job satisfaction on employee loyalty at Yasyfin Darussalam Gontor Ponorogo Hospital. This research uses a non-probability sampling method, namely using the entire population of 63 employees. The data collection technique in this research was by distributing questionnaires to employees of Yasyfin Darussalam Gontor Ponorogo Hospital. The data in this research was processed using the SPSS application. The results obtained were that partially work life balance had a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. These results mean that the work life balance variable has an influence on employee loyalty at Yasyfin Darussalam Gontor Ponorogo Hospital. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. These results mean that the work motivation variable has an influence on employee loyalty at Yasyfin Darussalam Gontor Ponorogo Hospital. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. These results can be interpreted that the job satisfaction variable has an influence on employee loyalty at Yasyfin Darussalam Gontor Hospital Ponorogo. Work life balance, work motivation and job satisfaction together have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. This means that the variables Work life balance, work motivation and job satisfaction simultaneously influence employee loyalty at Yasyfin Darussalam Gontor Ponorogo Hospital.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Job Insecurity, Organizational Culture, and Job Satisfaction on Organizational Commitment of Employees of Gondorukem and Turpentine Factory (PGT) Sukun, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency. The research method used is quantitative research. The sample in this study used a nonprobability sampling method, namely by using the entire population of 55 employees. The data collection technique in this study was to distribute questionnaires to PGT Sukun employees. The data in this study were processed using the SPSS version 26 application which obtained the results that partially job insecurity has no effect on organizational commitment, organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Simultaneously job insecurity, organizational culture, and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment of employees of the Gondorukem and Turpentine Factory (PGT),Sukun Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency.

Abstract

Science learning in elementary schools which is less varied is the cause of students' difficulties and lack of learning outcomes. Therefore, there is a need for learning media that can help students be active in learning. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using Android-based Energy Change Application Media on Science Learning Material on Energy Change Class III at SDN 10 Palembang. This type of research is Pre-Experimental and uses a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Research Design consisting of one class, namely class III. The population was 23 students and the sample was 23 students. Data analysis techniques are descriptive statistics and inferential statistical data analysis. Based on the Pretest results, the average score for student learning outcomes is 35 with a very low score of 10, so it can be said that the level of students' ability to understand the test and mastery of science material before using the Android-based Energy Change Application media is relatively low. Meanwhile, the average score after learning using the Android-based Energy Change Application media (posttest) was 81.52 from 23 students, 21 students met the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) or were in the high category. The results of inferential analysis using the t-test showed that tcount = 2.608 and ttable = 2.079, so we obtained tcount>ttable or 2.608>2.079, as well as with the normality test, sig values ​​of more than > 0.05, the data is normal. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the Android-based Energy Change Application Media has an influence on science learning outcomes on energy change material in class III at SDN 10 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to understand and analyze the implementation of Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) or Islamic Education teaching modules in shaping the profile of Pancasila students at SMP Negeri 2 Majene. Using a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of the PAI teaching module at SMP Negeri 2 Majene has been effective in shaping the profile of Pancasila students. This teaching module integrates Pancasila values into the learning material, aiding students in understanding and practicing these values in their daily lives. Key factors supporting the successful implementation of the PAI teaching module include strong school support, high-quality teaching modules, and the commitment of teachers to teach and instill Pancasila values. However, some challenges were identified, such as limited instructional time and insufficient parental involvement in the value education process. The study concludes that the PAI teaching module significantly contributes to shaping the profile of Pancasila students at SMP Negeri 2 Majene. Recommendations include enhancing the quality of training for PAI teachers, strengthening collaboration between schools and parents, and developing more interactive and contextually relevant teaching modules that align with contemporary developments.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of Gyaku tsuki Punches in Karanganyar Regency Karate Dojo Youth Students in 2024. This research method is quantitative descriptive research with the characteristics of the absence of hypotheses and the data obtained will be presented. The method used is a survey, with a research instrument in the form of a skill test of the basic technique of gyaku tsuki punches performed 2x attacking which aims to determine the Analysis of Gyaku Tsuki Punches on Teenage Karate Dojo Students Karanganyar Regency Year 2023. The sample of this study were karate students with the age category 12-17 years totaling 20 people. Based on the results of data analysis, that those who have punch skills in the good category with a score of 12 - 16 are 4 students or 20% of the total sample, then those who have punch skills in the sufficient category with a score of 8 - 4 are 13 students or 65% of the total sample, and those who have punch skills in the deficient category with a score of 4 - 7 are 3 students or 15% of the total sample studied. Based on the results of research and discussion, it is concluded that: students who are classified as "good" are 4 students (20%), "enough" are 13 students (65%), and "less" are 3 students (15%). The results of the study concluded that the gyaku tsuki punch skills of adolescent karate dojo students in Karanganyar Regency in 2024 were in the sufficient category.

Abstract

The principal as the manager of an educational institution has a very important strategy, because the principal builds teacher performance so that teachers are enthusiastic in carrying out their duties. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To test the validity of the data using triangulation. The results of this research show that: the principal's strategy in improving teacher performance at SMPN 6 Sawahlunto is providing motivation, fostering discipline, providing good perceptions, physical, mental and moral development, showing exemplary attitudes and behavior that becomes a role model, and developing teacher performance.
