Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of E-Money and QRIS on the ease of transactions among economic education students class of 2021, Medan State University. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with the analytical model used is multiple regression analysis, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 41 respondents. The analysis results show that the calculated T value for E-Money is 2.503, exceeding the T Table of 1.683, and the T Calculated for QRIS reaches 5.941, also higher than the same T Table. In addition, the F Calculated value is 197.9004, much greater than the F Table of 2.86, indicating the overall significance of the model. The adjusted R-Squared reached 87.25%, indicating that E-Money and QRIS contributed significantly in explaining variations in ease of transactions. These findings underscore the importance of using both payment methods in increasing transaction efficiency among students. These results confirm that the use of E-Money and QRIS not only has a positive impact, but also has a significant relationship in increasing the ease of transactions. This means that both play an important role in facilitating the transaction process, which can improve the overall user experience.

Abstract

This research analyzes the use of code-mixing in the song ‘Come Over (I’m in Tresno)’ by Indonesian musician Basboi, emphasizing the innovative application of multilingualism in the lyrics. Code-mixing, the amalgamation of two or more languages inside a single discourse, is a prevalent linguistic occurrence in bilingual populations, and this study investigates its many manifestations in music. The research used a qualitative descriptive technique to identify four kinds of code-mixing in the song's lyrics: insertion (words), insertion (phrases), alternation (clauses), and congruent lexicalization. The results indicate that Basboi adeptly amalgamates English, Indonesian, Javanese, and other languages, illustrating the sociolinguistic complexities of contemporary communication. The recurrent use of code-mixing in his lyrics appeals to multilingual listeners and enhances the cultural and emotional richness of the song. This study underscores the potential of code-mixing as a linguistic and creative instrument, advocating for more research on its prevalence across various musical genres. Furthermore, the results may enhance discourse in sociolinguistics and media studies, especially within bilingual or multilingual frameworks.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve learning achievement and problem solving skills in mathematics learning by implementing a problem based learning model in class VII.5 of SMP Negeri 18 Pekanbaru. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 33 students in class VII.5. Data collection techniques use test and non-test techniques. The test is used to measure students' learning achievement and mathematical problem solving skills using objective questions and essay instruments. Non-tests are used to make observations and documentation. Data analysis techniques use qualitative data analysis and quantitative data analysis. In cycle I there were 19 people who completed it with an average score of 70,03 and in cycle II there were 26 people who completed it with an average score of 80,09. Based on the research results, there was an increase in learning achievement and mathematical problem solving skills of class VII.5 in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan regresi linier sederhana dalam memprediksi nilai matematika siswa (Math_Score) berdasarkan faktor demografi dan akademik, yaitu Gender, Attendance_Rate, dan Extracurriculars. Dataset yang digunakan diproses melalui teknik encoding untuk variabel kategorikal dan penanganan nilai yang hilang. Model diuji dengan data latih dan data uji, serta dievaluasi menggunakan Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), dan R-squared (R²). Hasil menunjukkan nilai MAE sebesar 25.72, RMSE sebesar 29.06, dan R² sebesar 0.0118, mengindikasikan bahwa model memiliki kinerja prediktif yang rendah. Visualisasi residual mengungkap pola distribusi yang tidak normal dan sistematis, melanggar asumsi dasar regresi linier. Koefisien regresi menunjukkan bahwa variabel independen memiliki pengaruh yang lemah terhadap prediksi nilai matematika. Kesimpulannya, regresi linier sederhana kurang cocok untuk data ini karena hubungan antarvariabel cenderung kompleks. Diperlukan penambahan variabel relevan, seperti waktu belajar atau tingkat kesulitan materi, serta model prediktif yang lebih kompleks untuk meningkatkan akurasi. Studi ini memberikan wawasan awal dalam analisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi performa akademik siswa.

Abstract

Civic Education (PKn) plays a crucial role in shaping the character and civic competencies of students, particularly at the elementary school level. One of the main instruments for achieving national education goals is the Graduate Competency Standards (SKL), which set the minimum competencies that students must acquire upon completing their education. This study aims to analyze the challenges and solutions related to the implementation of SKL in the Civic Education subject in elementary schools. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review method, the study identifies several key issues: disparities in educational access, unequal implementation of SKL, and the impact of economic factors on the achievement of graduate competencies. Proposed solutions include improving teacher training and quality, utilizing technology in learning, adapting curricula to local conditions, conducting outreach and fostering collaboration with the community, and enhancing educational infrastructure. The implementation of these solutions is expected to reduce disparities in the application of SKL in Civic Education and strengthen the character formation of students in alignment with the values of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of Indonesia. This, in turn, aims to cultivate citizens who are active, responsible, and contributive in social and national life.

Abstract

This study aims to explore sustainable event management through the use of digital technology, with a focus on how technology can enhance sustainability in the event industry. The methods used in this study include literature analysis and case studies of various events that have implemented sustainable practices. The sample involved includes event organizers, attendees, and other stakeholders in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector. The findings show that digital technologies, such as cloud-based management systems and data analytics, can significantly reduce environmental impacts, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen community engagement. However, challenges such as cybersecurity and the environmental impact of the technology itself also need to be addressed. Recommendations for future studies include further research on the long-term impact of digital technology in event management and the development of better planning guidelines. This study is expected to contribute to a better understanding of how technology can be used to achieve sustainability in event management.

Abstract

The development of social media is currently very massive and growing very rapidly, this will certainly have a significant impact on one's life. This is because everyone seems to be inseparable from the existence of social media, be it for the purposes of existence, or just to fill spare time. Social media certainly has a positive impact as well as a negative impact, especially on the development of students' akhlaq and personality. This is because at school age, especially at the junior high school level, which is an age of unstable mental development and is also in a period of self-discovery, social medical is always a reference in behavior. This is the basis for this research. This research was conducted on junior high school students in the city of Depok, with the method taken, namely a survey by taking data from respondents to find answers to existing problems. With correlation and percentage analysis techniques. From the results obtained, the effect of using social media on akhlaq learning is 45% negative, which means that excessive use of social media will certainly reduce students' understanding of akhlaq. In addition, the relationship between social media and social personality gets a value of r = 0.30, which means that the use of social media has a positive impact on social personality such as openness to peers even though it is not too dominant. And the relationship between akhlaq learning and social personality gets a value of r = 0.60, which means that tends to have good akhlaq of course the social personality will also be good.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by interactive media in enhancing students' interest and learning outcomes in Mathematics, specifically on the topic of exponents in grade X of SMA Negeri 2 Medan. The applied PBL model is integrated with interactive media such as Wordwall and Canva. The use of these tools is intended to facilitate students in understanding abstract concepts in an engaging and interactive manner. The research results indicate an increase in students' interest and learning outcomes after the implementation of this method.

Abstract

The needs analysis was carried out with the aim of finding out the learning needs and problems experienced by students and as a guide for solving the problems faced, then the needs analysis research was carried out. This needs analysis was carried out using qualitative methods. This analysis was carried out by conducting interviews with students and teachers. The instruments used in this research were student response questionnaires and interviews. The results of the needs analysis carried out show that the learning process carried out has not used learning modules to maximize students' critical thinking abilities. The ongoing learning process is still dominated by teachers (teacher-oriented learning), so that students who are expected to be active and interactive have not been achieved. In the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach, the components used can help students improve their critical thinking skills. In implementing the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model, it will be more optimal if you use learning modules as open materials.

Abstract

This research aims to find out; 1) The philosophical perspective in moral education, 2) The role of philosophy in the formation of student morals, and 3) The implementation of moral education. This type of research is a literature study that uses a content analysis approach. Data collection in this study comes from SINTA journal articles and Google Scholar. The results showed that; 1) In perspective, philosophy is fundamental in moral education because it offers a conceptual foundation for understanding the values, norms, and principles that guide human behavior as in the perspective of the philosophy of progressivism. Utilitarianism and deontology have their respective perspectives. 2) The role of philosophy in the context of education is to improve the morals and behavior of students. Education is held to hone the ability to think and the intelligence of reason. philosophy plays a key role in shaping students' morality by providing them with critical thinking skills, broadening their understanding of universal values, and fostering a sense of social responsibility, and 3) Implementation of moral education is applied in various ways, apart from in the classroom such as conducting programs, activities, or extracurricular activities. the application of moral education in schools is carried out with a child-centered approach. Children are encouraged to gain direct experience in understanding and applying moral values.
