Abstract

This study discusses the Contribution of Morphosyntax in the Book of al-Qirā'atu al-Rasyīdah to Arabic Language Learning. The main problem is how morphosyntax analysis can contribute to Arabic language learning. This type of research is library research using a descriptive design. The primary data used are the reading themes جزاء الصدق، الأدبُ أساس النجاح and الأمانة كنز in the book of al-Qirā'atu al-Rasyīdah through four stages of data collection, namely collecting materials, reading library materials, making notes and processing notes. The results of this study indicate that Morphosyntax in the book al-Qirā'atu al-Rasyīdah has contributed to the translation of an Arabic text, vocabulary related to morphosyntax, student skills (reading, writing and speaking) and increasing insight into the equivalent of morphosyntax terms. In addition, there is also a contribution in the form of vocabulary in the form of equivalent linguistic terms in morphology, syntax and Arabic language learning.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology encourages the diffusion of innovation in the world of education, including in learning methods. One phenomenon of innovation that is used and continues to increase is the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media as an interactive learning media. The purpose of this study is to measure the effectiveness of AR learning media and student responses after using the learning media. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. AR learning media will be tested on 18 third grade students of SD Tunas Bangsa Kubu Raya, which is divided into four groups. The instruments used are questionnaires to measure students' responses and post-test to evaluate students' knowledge improvement after using AR learning media. In conclusion, by using AR media in learning material about solid, liquid and gas objects, students showed a significant increase in understanding when doing the post-test. Students are able to understand that solid objects do not necessarily have to be hard, but have other characteristics that distinguish them from liquid and gas substances. The results of the student response questionnaire to AR learning media are 82.2% with a very good response category.

Abstract

Penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan hubungan positif antara kecerdasan spiritual dan self-esteem (Pourfarokh, 2014; Boudlaie et al., 2022), namun studi dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Jepang di daerah tertinggal seperti NTT masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kecerdasan spiritual terhadap self-esteem pada pembelajar bahasa Jepang asal NTT menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional dan regresi. Sebanyak 55 responden dipilih melalui purposive sampling, menggunakan Spiritual Intelligence Self-Report Inventory (SISRI-24) untuk mengukur kecerdasan spiritual dan Self-Esteem Scale untuk self-esteem. Hasilnya menunjukkan hubungan sangat lemah antara kecerdasan spiritual dan self-esteem (r = -0,172; p = 0,209), mengindikasikan tidak adanya hubungan signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor eksternal, seperti lingkungan sosial dan kondisi psikologis, mungkin lebih berpengaruh dibanding kecerdasan spiritual dalam membentuk self-esteem pembelajar di konteks ini.

Abstract

In this study, the author presents the findings of a systematic literature review that includes articles published in the last ten years in which the author explains the application of Machine Learning (ML) techniques and methods to sensing technology in support of maritime defense. By searching in the Scopus and Mendeley databases, the authors took, filtered, and analyzed the contents of 30 articles, and encoded these resources following repeated methods in the Grounded Theory approach. According to the literature review, the most widely used ML model is the CNN model with 16 article titles and has the best performance quality level of 99.79%. This is because CNN is highly effective at classification. After all, it can identify intricate patterns and relationships between features. However, from the perspective of maritime defense technology, which focuses on threats from underwater, an article that analyzes ship noise for ten articles and submarine noise for two articles takes as its subject. This is caused by both data confidentiality and data limitations. To solve the problem, previous researchers used the data pre-processing method of Image Data Augmentation. However, despite improving the performance of the ML model, it has the potential for a huge over-fitting phenomenon.

Abstract

Indonesia, as the largest archipelagic country in the world, faces significant challenges in maintaining maritime security and managing its marine resources. In this context, Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) has emerged as an important tool that can support maritime security strategies and management effectively. This study uses a literature study method to explore the role of GEOINT in supporting Indonesia's national security. The analysis was conducted by reviewing various literatures that discuss the application of GEOINT in maritime security, traffic surveillance, natural resource management, and emergency responsse to disasters. The results of the study indicate that GEOINT plays a crucial role in improving maritime surveillance through the use of satellite imagery, space sensors, and predictive analytics. This technology also supports maritime traffic management, marine resource conservation, and recovery after maritime disasters. However, the implementation of GEOINT in Indonesia still faces several challenges, including limited technological infrastructure and inter-agency coordination. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of investing in GEOINT technology and increasing human resource capacity to maximize the potential of GEOINT in supporting Indonesia's maritime security. International collaboration and the development of supportive policies are also needed to overcome existing challenges and ensure the success of GEOINT implementation in Indonesia.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze the types of address terms used in the movie Matilda (1996). This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Researchers observed the film, identified relevant timestamps, and analyzed the function of each address term within its context to gather data. The data was then analyzed using Wardhaugh's (2010) theory. The findings revealed several types of address terms: 7 instances of first names (FN) including Michael, Matilda, Amanda, Jen, Bob, Bill, and Zinnia; 3 instances of title and last names (TLN) in Miss Trunchbull, Mr. Wormwood, and Miss Honey; 1 instance of a title (T) in Sir; 2 instances of last names (LN) in The Wormwoods and The Trunchbull; 7 instances of pet names (PN) such as Dearest pie, Lovekins, My Heartstrings, Snickerdoodle, Honeydew, and Little Brucey; and 5 instances of kinship terms (KT) such as Mom, Mommy, My boy, and Daddy. Based on the results, it can be concluded that first name (FN) were the most commonly used address terms, with intimacy being the primary reason for their usage with the total of 28 address term found.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of leadership, managerial skills, and mastery of technology of the principal on teacher performance in Vocational High Schools (SMK). This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through analysis of literature studies from various previous studies. The results of the study indicate that the leadership of the principal has a significant influence on teacher performance, especially through motivation, professional support, and the creation of a conducive work environment. The managerial skills of the principal, which include planning, organizing, and supervision, also have a positive impact on teacher efficiency and professionalism. Although the principal's mastery of technology does not directly affect teacher performance significantly, technology still contributes to supporting administrative tasks and encouraging learning innovation. The combination of these three aspects of leadership, managerial, and technology can create an educational environment that supports improving teacher performance and the quality of learning in SMK. Thus, this study strengthens the importance of the strategic role of the principal in optimizing teacher performance in order to achieve educational goals that are relevant to the needs of the world of work.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the philosophy of vocational technology education in curriculum design and learning in Vocational High Schools (SMK). The method used is a literature review that analyzes various sources related to the philosophy of education, curriculum, and learning practices in the field of vocational technology. The results of the study indicate that the philosophy of vocational technology education emphasizes the development of practical skills that are relevant to industry needs, as well as the integration of technical knowledge and character. The resulting curriculum must be able to accommodate the needs of the world of work, with an emphasis on project-based learning and problems that involve direct experience. Technology plays an important role in learning, allowing students to access materials flexibly and in depth. The discussion in this study concluded that the main challenges in implementing this philosophy-based curriculum are limited facilities, teacher training, and industry involvement. Therefore, close cooperation is needed between schools, government, and industry to ensure that the curriculum remains relevant and effective in preparing students to face an increasingly technology-based world of work. Optimal implementation of the philosophy of vocational technology education can improve the quality of education in SMK and prepare competent graduates.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of organizational behavior management (OBM) to enhance the competency of educators at SMA Negeri 2 Sepauk, Sintang, Kalimantan Barat. The research highlights the critical role of OBM in improving teacher performance through effective leadership, communication, and the creation of a collaborative school culture. Using a mixed-method approach combining case studies and literature reviews, this study explores the barriers to OBM implementation, the relationship between organizational behavior and teacher competence, and the development of a tailored OBM model. Key findings indicate that effective OBM improves pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies of teachers. However, challenges such as limited resources, resistance to change, and inadequate access to technology hinder its full implementation. A proposed integrative OBM model focuses on leadership, inclusive culture, training, technology management, and performance evaluation. This model aligns with the needs of SMA Negeri 2 Sepauk to develop an adaptive and innovative educational ecosystem. The findings provide practical recommendations for enhancing organizational behavior management in schools, contributing to the broader discourse on improving teacher competencies in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine effective student management strategies in improving the quality of education in Vocational High Schools (SMK). Student management plays an important role in creating a conducive educational environment, which has a direct impact on students' academic success and character development. Through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study collects and analyzes previous studies that discuss the relationship between student management and the quality of education in SMK. The results of the study indicate that student management strategies, such as managing extracurricular activities, character building, and student supervision and motivation, can significantly improve the quality of education in SMK. This study provides insights for SMK managers and policy makers to optimize student management in order to create higher quality education that is relevant to industry needs.
