Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach in achieving the Pancasila Student Profile dimensions of critical thinking and collaboration in the Pancasila Education subject for fifth-grade elementary school students. The research employs a mixed methods design, combining Descriptive Qualitative and Quasi-Experimental Research methodologies. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and pre-test and post-test worksheets. The research subjects comprise 48 elementary school students, divided into Class 5A as the experimental group and Class 5C as the control group. This study's results show that using the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach enables students to achieve the Pancasila Student Profile dimensions of collaboration and critical thinking. Based on classroom observations and interviews, students demonstrated increased activity in helping their peers, sharing ideas, and working together to complete group tasks. Furthermore, the independent sample t-test results indicate a significant value of 0.00 in the post-test, which is lower than 0.05. This finding demonstrates that the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach effectively helps fifth-grade students of SDN Karanganyar Gunung 02 achieve the Pancasila Student Profile dimensions of critical thinking and collaboration in the Pancasila Education subject

Abstract

The contemporary digital landscape relies heavily on the MD5 hash algorithm for ensuring data integrity, yet its susceptibility to collision attacks raises concerns about its security in modern cybersecurity practices. This study delves into the weaknesses of MD5 collisions, particularly focusing on the Unicoll technique. By embedding malicious code into files while preserving their original MD5 hash values, the research aims to demonstrate the potential security risks associated with MD5 collisions. The experiment successfully generates collisions between modified files containing malware and their unaltered counterparts, showcasing MD5's vulnerability to collision attacks. Moving forward, future research could explore methods for embedding malware that evades detection by anti-malware solutions, expand embedding techniques to encompass various file formats, and investigate alternative collision generation methods for improved efficiency and effectiveness. These endeavors offer promising directions for advancing cybersecurity measures and mitigating malware threats in the digital landscape.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relevance level of the curriculum of the Building Engineering Education Program at Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED) to the Learning Outcomes of the Construction and Property Engineering Program in the Merdeka Curriculum at Vocational High Schools (SMK). The objects of this research are the curriculum documents of the Building Engineering Education Program and the Learning Outcomes documents of the Construction and Property Engineering Program. This research uses a quantitative descriptive research method with the following stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and conclusion drawing. The data collection techniques used are literature review, documentation, and interviews. The obtained data is analyzed by assessing the percentage of each competency or learning element of the Vocational High School (SMK) Construction and Property Engineering Program, and then the results are categorized according to the relevance level categories. The results show that the curriculum of the Building Engineering Education Program at Unimed is relevant to the competencies of the Vocational High School (SMK) Construction and Property Engineering Program, with a relevance level of 92,30%.

Abstract

Educational transformation in line with the demands of the times is continuously implemented, one of which is through the adoption of the Merdeka Curriculum. The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum still requires innovation in the development of a 21st-century learning design-based curriculum to facilitate lifelong learning. This literature review research aims to uncover and explore the potential innovations that can be applied in the development of a technology-based curriculum with the 21CLD approach, in order to contribute to a better and more relevant educational transformation that meets the needs of students in the digital era, particularly in the implementation of IPAS (Science and Social Studies) learning. The findings of this study reveal that educators need to develop learning designs that facilitate creative thinking, critical thinking and problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills that lead to long-term memory for lifelong skills. Innovations that can be implemented by educators in IPAS learning include the development of innovative learning designs, using problem-based and project-based learning models, which refer to active and enjoyable learning, such as gamification. In addition, the integration of technology and continuous assessment should be conducted to optimize the implementation of learning by educators.

Abstract

This research aims to determine scientific literacy skills in the material of changing forms of energy in class IV elementary school. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests and documentation. The results of the research show that the fourth grade science literacy abilities of SD N Keseneng are at the advanced, proficient and basic competency levels. Students with scientific literacy skills at an advanced competency level are able to understand indicators in the aspects of content, process, context, and show a positive attitude. Students with scientific literacy skills at a proficient competency level are able to understand indicators in the content aspect and show a positive attitude. It's just that the responses from students on the process aspect or on the context aspect have not met the indicators. Students with scientific literacy skills at the basic competency level are not yet able to understand the indicators in the content and context aspects of the material on changing forms of energy.

Abstract

Student independence is a very important skill in education, especially at the elementary school level, to prepare them to face future challenges. This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on the development of student independence at SDIT Al-Anshoriyah. PjBL was chosen because it was considered able to teach students to be more independent in managing time, completing assignments, collaborating with friends, and taking initiative. The research method used is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires to students and teachers. The data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine the increase in student independence before and after implementing PJBL. The research results show that implementing PjBL can increase students' independence in managing time, completing assignments, collaborating with friends, and taking initiative. This increase looks significant, where the percentage of students who are able to manage their time well increases from 55% to 78%, and the ability to collaborate with friends increases from 65% to 85%. The implications of this research are the importance of more intensive training for teachers in designing and implementing projects, as well as the need for better managerial support for implementing PjBL

Abstract

Research on the development of video media based on a scientific approach assisted by Canva was motivated by learning that focused on Student Worksheets (LKS) and there was no media on the digestive system material. This research aims to develop and describe the validation of learning media results in the form of videos. This research uses the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) development model. This research instrument uses a questionnaire. The validity of the video is seen from the validation results by each of the two validators (media, material, language experts), users (student responses), practitioners (teacher responses). The validation results of video learning media on the digestive system material from media experts received an average score of 90% in the "very valid" category. The material expert assessment received a score of 90%. The linguist's assessment received an average score of 90% in the "very valid" category. The product validation results from teachers got 90% and tests on 22 class V users (students) got 88% in the "very valid" category. So it can be concluded that videos based on scientific approaches assisted by Canva are "very valid" and can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of E-Money and QRIS on the ease of transactions among economic education students class of 2021, Medan State University. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with the analytical model used is multiple regression analysis, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 41 respondents. The analysis results show that the calculated T value for E-Money is 2.503, exceeding the T Table of 1.683, and the T Calculated for QRIS reaches 5.941, also higher than the same T Table. In addition, the F Calculated value is 197.9004, much greater than the F Table of 2.86, indicating the overall significance of the model. The adjusted R-Squared reached 87.25%, indicating that E-Money and QRIS contributed significantly in explaining variations in ease of transactions. These findings underscore the importance of using both payment methods in increasing transaction efficiency among students. These results confirm that the use of E-Money and QRIS not only has a positive impact, but also has a significant relationship in increasing the ease of transactions. This means that both play an important role in facilitating the transaction process, which can improve the overall user experience.

Abstract

Dalam dunia yang kompleks dan serba cepat seperti saat ini, kebutuhan akan kepemimpinan yang tangguh dan tanggap semakin mendesak. Mengembangkan kepemimpinan siswa dalam lingkungan pendidikan merupakan upaya multipihak yang memerlukan usaha bersama dari berbagai pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan penekanan pada pengamatan dan pemahaman yang komprehensif untuk menghasilkan pemahaman yang lebih baik dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka dan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara di SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Surabaya. Strategi guru PAI dalam membentuk kepemimpinan siswa melibatkan berbagai pendekatan dan metode yang berfokus pada pengembangan karakter siswa dan kemampuan kepemimpinan. Selain itu, integrasi nilai-nilai agama dan prinsip-prinsip etika ke dalam pendidikan agama Islam juga ditekankan sebagai upaya untuk membentuk generasi muda yang memiliki integritas dan kemampuan kepemimpinan yang kuat. Kolaborasi antara guru PAI dengan pendidik lainnya, serta dukungan dari kepala sekolah, sangat penting dalam mengembangkan kepemimpinan siswa melalui pendidikan agama Islam. Sinergi antara pendidikan nilai-nilai agama dan pengembangan kepemimpinan merupakan kunci untuk membentuk individu yang siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan dengan integritas dan tanggung jawab sosial yang tinggi.

Abstract

Supervision plays a significant role in guiding, developing, and supporting teachers to achieve high learning standards. In education, supervision is not merely a monitoring mechanism but an integral strategy for professional development and the holistic improvement of learning quality. This study aims to analyze the role of supervision in enhancing the quality of continuous learning at Harapan Bangsa Elementary School in West Kalimantan. The research method used is qualitative with a case study design. The subjects of the research include supervisors or principals, teachers, and students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed using triangulation techniques. The analysis focuses on identifying the role of supervision, its impact on teachers, its influence on the quality of learning, and its contribution to the professional development of teachers. The results of the study show that supervision plays a crucial role in enhancing teacher professionalism through regular supervision sessions that allow in-depth discussions about teaching methods and learning strategies. Supervision helps teachers adapt to curriculum developments and educational policies. Identifying individual teacher potentials and needs through observation and coaching enables the creation of targeted professional development programs. Furthermore, supervision contributes to the holistic development of learning, including character building, social skills, and students' critical thinking abilities. The implementation of innovative teaching methods is encouraged through supervisory support, which provides resources and related training.
