Abstract

Pentingnya school well-being diterapkan di sekolah sebagai bentuk menciptakan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi peserta didik. Namun hal tersebut terkadang masih diabaikan. School well-being terdiri dari empat dimensi yaitu having, loving, being dan health. Berdasarkan hasil studi literatur diperoleh bahwa setiap warga sekolah harus bekerjasama dalam menciptakan sekolah yang ideal bagi peserta didiknya. Dimensi having memperhatikan kondisi dan situasi sekolah, seperti fasilitas yang menunjang proses pembelajaran maupun kurikulum yang digunakan. Kemudian loving berhubungan dengan interaksi sosial yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran dan sosial di sekolah. Dimensi being memperhatikan pemenuhan diri seperti pemberian motivasi dan penguatan kepada peserta didik. Selanjutnya health berhubungan dengan kesehatan fisik dan mental peserta didik. Pentingnya school well-being demi kebahagian dan terpenuhinya kebutuhan belajar peserta didik di sekolah.

Abstract

This writing aims to identify innovations that can be made in the learning media of Islamic education subjects and the dissemination process of these innovations so that they can be used publicly through internet media. This research is of a qualitative type with a literature research model used in this writing technique. Literature research is research to seek, process, and analyze data sourced from documents, texts, manuscripts, and other written literacy materials to uncover the content of ideas and meanings that are implicitly or explicitly contained within them. The results of this study suggest that innovations in Islamic education learning media can use several options such as digital platforms, Islamic education learning applications, educational videos, Virtual Reality technology, games, podcasts, and audio recordings. Dissemination is the final process of innovation, which is a structured and planned process for spreading the results of the innovation that can be carried out directly or online. Online dissemination is used to address issues of time and flexibility in the dissemination process as well as to improve the quality of learning by providing innovative new media that can be accessed anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) learning model in improving students' ability to solve mathematical problems. This ability reflects the level of students' expertise in formulating solutions to the mathematical problems they encounter. RME is a learning approach that transforms abstract mathematical concepts into more concrete ones through everyday contexts. The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review, which involves analyzing relevant literature to address the research focus. This study involves analyzing 15 scientific articles published between 2017 and 2024. The findings of this study indicate that the RME approach can enhance students' problem-solving abilities by connecting learning materials to real-world contexts, encouraging active student participation in the learning process, and developing critical and creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using visual media in improving student learning outcomes in social studies. The method used in this study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) by analyzing various relevant and credible literature sources. The results of the study indicate that visual media play an important role in improving students' understanding and interest in learning. The integration of visual elements with the delivery of Social Studies material has proven to help students understand concepts more concretely, capture their attention, and create a more interactive learning experience. Thus, the use of visual media can serve as an effective alternative learning strategy to enhance learning outcomes in Social Studies.

Abstract

Mathematics is a basic subject that plays a crucial role in improving the quality of education and honing logical and systematic reasoning skills. However, some students often find the mathematics learning process monotonous, necessitating a more creative and engaging approach. One relevant approach is the Make-A-Match learning model, a method that combines paired card games to build knowledge through interaction and collaboration between students. This model has proven effective in improving learning outcomes, creating a fun learning environment, and encouraging student engagement at every stage of learning. In this regard, teachers play a crucial role in creating a conducive and enjoyable learning environment, while adapting learning strategies to students' needs and development. Therefore, using the Make-A-Match model can be an appropriate alternative to optimize the achievement of mathematics learning objectives.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the role of the deep learning model in fostering inclusive and multicultural education in Indonesian junior high schools. Using a literature review approach, the discussion focuses on the essence of deep learning as a comprehensive instructional method that emphasizes conceptual understanding, critical reflection, and meaningful connections in real-world contexts. The study finds that this approach holds significant potential in accommodating students’ diverse backgrounds and promoting cross-cultural understanding. By integrating the principles of inclusion and multiculturalism, deep learning can serve as a strategic framework for realizing transformative, contextual, and equitable learning. This article also presents a conceptual model of inclusive-multicultural learning based on deep learning, which can be adapted to the context of junior high schools in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertuajuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya di Pesantren Mohammad Amin Darunnajah 15 Bengkulu. Peneliti mengunakan metode kualitatif dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an sudah dilakukan dengan baik melalui empat tahap: perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Pesantren mengunakan metode Iqro sebagai metode utama, membagi kelas sesuai kamampuan santri. Sistem pengawasan dilakukan secara ketat melalui ujian kenaikan dan monitoring kehadiran santri. Faktor yang mendukung pembelajaran Al-Qur’an adalah adanya guru-guru yang berkompeten, dukungan dari sebagian wali santri, dan tersedianya fasilitas belajar. Namun, pesantren menghadapi kendala berupa keterbatasan ruang kelas, kurangnya tenaga pengajar, fasilitas yang terbatas, dan kurangnya dukungan dari sebagaian wali santri. Kesimpulan penelitian yang peneliti lakukan adalah manajemen pembelajaran Al-Qur’an di pesantren mohammad amin darunnajah 15 bengkulu sudah berjalan dengan baik namun masih perlu perbaikan infrastruktur, penambahan tenaga pengajar, dan meningkatkan dukungan dari wali santri untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

The adoption of English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) is a growing trend in Indonesian education. This study investigates the implementation of EMI and students' perceptions at a private bilingual junior high school in Pontianak. A descriptive survey design was employed, with data collected through a questionnaire from 44 ninth-grade students. The findings reveal a significant discrepancy: students hold overwhelmingly positive perceptions of EMI's value for their future and their English skill development. However, data indicates a clear inconsistency in implementation. Teachers of non-language subjects (Biology, Mathematics, Physics) frequently use Bahasa Indonesia in the classroom, while the English teacher consistently uses English. The study concludes that while students are positively disposed towards and feel capable of learning via EMI, the teachers of content subjects are not fully implementing it. This suggests a gap between policy and practice, highlighting a need for targeted teacher support and training to ensure the effective execution of the school's bilingual program.

Abstract

The background of this study analyzes the implementation of the Tiered Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Program at Ma'had Tafaqquh Al-Islami Junior High School to produce good moral memorizers of the Qur'an. Using SWOT analysis, this study identifies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges in program implementation to provide recommendations for improving its effectiveness. The focus of the research includes aspects of the strengths and weaknesses of the program, the opportunities and challenges faced, and the moral values of the Qur'an that are reflected in the memorizers. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research informants consisted of leaders, principals, teachers, and students. The results show that the strength of the program lies in the support of leaders, an effective tiered system, integrated teaching methods, and conducive technology and environmental support. However, there are drawbacks related to limited time, teaching resources, and facilities. Opportunities for program development are identified through the implementation of an effective quarantine system, the quality of teachers, and the support of parents and the community. The main challenges include limited student time and lack of family support. Moral values such as honesty (ash-shidq), patience (as-sabr), responsibility (al-amanah), and social concern (al-ihsan) are reflected in the memorizers, which form their character in social and academic life. In the tahfizh process, students are taught to be honest in their memorization and social life, be patient in facing challenges, be responsible for their memorization, and care and help others in the learning process.

Abstract

Manajemen Kurikulum Pendidikan Islam dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pendidikan diartikan sebagai proses merencanakan, mengorganisasikan, melaksanaan, evaluasi, faktor pendukung dan penghambat di dalam kurikulum pendidikan Islam di MA Darunnajah Cipining Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dilakukan secara langsung ke lapangan (fieldresearch). dan hasil penelitian ini kemudian dideskripsikan berdasarkan data-data yang telah diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sehingga hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Manajemen Kurikulum Pendidikan Islam di MA Darunnajah Cipining Bogor sudah optimal dimulai dari perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, di dukung oleh SDM berkualitas, sarana prasarana memadai, suasana kerja kondusif serta dukungan kepemimpinan dan yayasan. Meskipun demikian, terdapat faktor penghambat seperti keterbatasan waktu dan beban kerja, latar belakang siswa yang beragam, tantangan integrasi kurikulum dan keterbatasan sumber belajar up-to-date.
