Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Quipper School learning media on students' interest and learning outcomes in PAI subjects. The method used in this study was a Quasi Experiment with The Static Group Comparison design: Randomized Control Group Only Design by applying Quipper School learning media to an experimental class of 35 people and a control class of 36 people. Research data on student interest and learning outcomes were collected by means of questionnaires and tests, then analyzed using the Manova test with the help of SPSS version 22. The findings of this study are hypothesis testing, 1) There is an influence of Quipper School learning media on student learning interest in subjects PAI at SMAN 1 Kinali. Obtained from a significance value smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05, which means a significant effect. The results showed that the average score of students' interest in learning in the control class was 67, while the average score of interest in learning in the experimental class was 87, which was in the very high category. 2) There is an influence of Quipper School learning media on student learning outcomes in PAI subjects at SMAN 1 Kinali. Obtained from a significance value smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05, which means a significant effect. The results showed that the average score of student learning outcomes in the control class was 67 while the average score of interest in learning in the experimental class was 85. There was a significant difference between the control class and the experimental class. 3) There is an influence of Quipper School learning media on students' interest and learning outcomes in PAI subjects at SMAN 1 Kinali. The results showed that the value of ????ℎi????????????g = 86,904 with ???????????????????????? = 3.29 (????ℎi????????????g > ????????????????????????) Thus ????0 is rejected and accepts 1.0.

Abstract

The TikTok application is a means of entertainment that makes its users have to be able to fortify themselves from negative influences so they don’t lose their identity. Individual identity as an identity or differentiator between himself and others. Imperfect self-identity will make individuals trapped in situations that can harm themselves and those around them, such as having a feeling of being unable to do something, helplessness, decreased self-esteem, lack of confidence, and so on. Reality group counseling is one of the guidance and counseling services that can help individuals improve their self-identity by utilizing group dynamics in the process of their activities. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach which provides a detailed description of reality group counseling to improve self-identity.

Abstract

At first we were very sad and concerned because of technological constraints, because it has become a tradition that meetings must be face-to-face and direct. In a pandemic situation this cannot be done so worship must also be carried out remotely and using technology, the atmosphere of fellowship changes with distance and is united in digitalization or online worship and meetings. Specifically with teenagers, the presence of digital worship has made changes in their worship habits. By only using cellphones and laptops as well as television, they can worship anywhere. With digital worship, youth and congregations can praise God in joy, and they are increasingly familiar with online worship. And the focus of this descriptive research will be to examine the benefits of online worship and how it differs from in-person or online worship, then in a new atmosphere, the digitalization system will not be completely abandoned, but has become a necessity for the development of worship, especially for youth and adolescents. The results of observations, experiences and small research as well as descriptions will help youth and the church to make and review models of worship that are more actual in the digital age, so that youth worship is more actual and makes them more enthusiastic and grow in faith.

Abstract

The method used in this study was a Quasi Experiment with the design of The Static Group Comparison Randomized Control Group Only Design by applying the SAVI type independent learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectualy) in the experimental class of 27 people and 28 people in the control class. Research data on student independence and learning interest were collected by means of a questionnaire, then analyzed by using the Manova test with the help of SPSS version 22. The findings of this study were hypothesis testing (1) There was an influence of the SAVI type independent learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectually) on student learning independence in the subject of Fiqh at MTsS PPMTI Bayur. Obtained from a significance value smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05. (2) There is an influence of the SAVI type independent learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectualy) on students' learning interest in the Fiqh subject at MTsS PPMTI Bayur. Obtained from a significance value smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05. (3) There is an influence of the SAVI type independent learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectualy) on student independence and interest in learning Fiqh at MTsS PPMTI Bayur. Obtained from a significance value smaller than 0.05, namely 0.000 <0.05 with the result F_count = 27.432 with F_table = 3.40 (F_count>F_table).

Abstract

Educators have an important role in helping the success of education in schools. Educators have a great responsibility in producing quality students who also have good and moral character. In education, educators do not only act as teachers but educators must also be good examples and role models for the development of students in schools. According to Lickona there are seven reasons why character education must be delivered. The seven origins referred to are as follows. 1). The best way to ensure children (students) have a good personality in life. 2). Ways to improve academic achievement. 3). Some students cannot form a strong character for themselves elsewhere. 4). Preparing students to respect other parties or people and be able to live in a diverse society. 5). Departing from the root of the problem related to social-moral problems, such as impoliteness, dishonesty, violence, violations of sexual activity, and low work (learning) ethic. 6). Best preparation for behavior in the workplace. And 7). Learning cultural values which are part of civilized work.

Abstract

The effect of the transesterification reaction time of 0.6% mass % NaOH catalyst in the formation of methyl ester (biodiesel) made from used waste cooking oil as raw material 6 times usage and methanol 1: 5 mass has been studied at 60°C. The reaction times used were 30, 40, and 45 minutes. All samples resulting from the transesterification reaction have been studied for their chemical and physical properties. Parameters of chemical properties included in the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for all samples were % FFA, pH, while the water content was above the SNI standard. The physical property parameters for all samples that meet SNI are only flash point, color and 90% distillation. While the density of all test samples was lower than the SNI which was set at 850-890 Kg/m3, the results obtained for reaction times of 30, 40 and 45 minutes were 828, 833 and 836 Kg/m3 respectively. The highest yield was owned by a reaction time of 40 minutes, namely 80%. As for the reaction time of 35 and 45 minutes respectively 79 and 65%.

Abstract

Teacher performance is a very determining factor for the quality of education, which will have an impact on the quality of graduates after finishing school. Competence in the last decade has become an important issue and made every teacher empowerment in improving the quality of education in Indonesia at this time, so researchers are interested in discussing the management of teacher competency development as an effort to take part in providing education, especially teacher competency development management. The purpose of this study is to determine the management of teacher competency development as a determinant of teacher performance. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive research. There is an influence of teacher competency development management on teacher performance. It is based on a value of R2 (R Square) of 0.68. This shows that 68% of Teacher Competency Development Management has a positive effect on teacher performance.

Abstract

One of the factors that can improve learning outcomes is the use of learning media. Today, there are many choices of media to be used in the teaching and learning process. The use of ICT-based media is one option that is currently being widely used. One technology that can be taken into account is the use of Augmented Reality (AR) media. Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that integrates two-dimensional or three-dimensional objects into a real environment. The use of AR in learning can make learning more interactive. The purpose of this study is to describe Augmented Reality (AR) learning media in learning. The method used in this study is the method of literature review or literature study as a source of data. After tracing the data, it was found that Augmented Reality (AR) had a positive effect on spatial abilities and mathematical problem solving abilities. Therefore, the use of this media can be an option for educators in conveying materials related to geometry.

Abstract

The background of this research is the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum (IKM) as a result of curriculum changes, it is rumored that the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum (IKM) is less effective, because there has not been maximum preparation in terms of outreach, implementers in the field, as well as teachers, as well as various supporting infrastructure. The implementation of the Independent Curriculum (IKM) is all wrapped up in four indicators of readiness, including: physical condition, mental condition, emotional condition, needs (motivation) and knowledge. Therefore, researchers have the desire to test the level of readiness for the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum (IKM), because schools are required to be oriented towards changing the existing curriculum in order to achieve the ideals of the nation. The research method used was the survey method, with the instrument used, namely a questionnaire, which was distributed to 60 teachers from 13 schools at the high school level (SMA) randomly in North Nias Regency. Based on the results of research on the level of learning readiness at the senior high school (SMA) level in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum (IKM) in North Nias district, the 4 indicators studied were in the fairly prepared category.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the category of mathematics teacher's ability to build the ability to understand concepts and instill mathematical problem solving abilities on student learning outcomes. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Alasa, and the sample was taken randomly as many as 272 students. The research instrument used a questionnaire, and data analysis used descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the ability of mathematics teachers to build understanding of concepts and instill mathematical problem solving abilities on student learning outcomes in the moderate category.
