Abstract

Refrigeration is one way to maintain the temperature of a material or a room at a lower level than the ambient temperature conditions around it by absorbing heat from the material or room. The refrigeration system that is widely used today for industrial purposes is to use a vapor compression cycle, where in this vapor compression cycle one of the components that has an important role is the compressor. Over time, the performance of the compressor will decrease, so it will affect the heat absorption process of the material to be cooled. With the reduced ability of the heat absorption process, it will reduce the efficiency level of the compressor. Based on the results of the efficiency analysis on the performance of the refrigeration system compressor at PT. XYZ, then the efficiency value is 73.98%.

Abstract

Several previous studies with the main problem of teacher performance in terms of infrastructure and work environment factors generally used regression analysis techniques, which only studied the direct effect of infrastructure and work environment on teacher performance. The novelty of this research is the development of instruments using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) measurement model, namely developing constructs from performance variables, infrastructure and work environment, through theoretical validation through experts and empirical validation using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) techniques. Seeing the important role of infrastructure and work environment on teacher performance, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of infrastructure and work environment on teacher performance. This study used a quantitative approach using survey methods with the analytical techniques used, namely instrument development using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) measurement model, and multiple linear regression. The population in this study were high school teachers throughout Tangerang. Respondents were taken based on 20 schools in Tangerang and each school took several samples, and it was obtained as a whole that the sample obtained was 200 respondents. The result of this study is all independent variables has a positive and significant effect toward dependent variable.

Abstract

.Bobak's book review (2005) states that post partum blues is a mild affective disorder syndrome that occurs early after childbirth, with signs of sadness or dysphoria, crying, irritability, anxiety, lability of feelings, tendency to blame oneself, appetite disorders. , sleep disturbances, feelings of envy and guilt. This situation will get better and worse depending on the patient's coping mechanism. By looking at this situation, we need to look at educational factors as well as being part of the factors that encourage post partum blues. Research from Hasifah, H., Nurparisih, U. S., Maliga, I., & Lestari, A. (2024), there is a relationship between the level of maternal knowledge and the incidence of post partum blues in post partum mothers. Conclusions from other research are that age, parity, level of education, family support, sleep disorders, type of delivery, and readiness to become a mother are factors that cause postpartum blues and can be overcome by involving the husband, family and the surrounding environment through support for postpartum mothers. (Olii, N et al, 2023). The method of this community service activity is by conducting outreach to post partum mothers or postpartum mothers in the Cirebon Regency area by visiting the home once. Socialization using leaflet media, with the topic, "Socialization on the Prevention of Post Partum Blues in Postpartum Women". The target selection here is postpartum mothers who have recently given birth, around 3-5 days after giving birth, targeting postpartum mothers and their husbands. After carrying out "Socialization on the Prevention of Post Partum Blues among Postpartum Mothers" through home visits, the response from families and mothers was visible. the good one. There are also several questions such as why it is so important to support postpartum mothers, there are also those who feel that they are not aware of the importance of this support, considering that the forms of support are also complex, they also feel helped by the socialization regarding the prevention of post partum blues.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of parenting patterns on the character development of fishermen's children in Ujungalang Village, Kampung Laut District, Cilacap. The research method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to parents and children of fishermen as well as in-depth interviews with several key respondents. The research results show that parenting styles have a significant impact on children's character development. Democratic parenting, which is characterized by open communication and balanced supervision, has been proven to support the development of positive characters in children, such as independence, responsibility and self-confidence. On the other hand, authoritarian and permissive parenting tends to produce less than optimal characters, such as high dependency, lack of sense of responsibility, and low self-confidence. Apart from parenting styles, this research also found that environmental factors and family socio-economic conditions also influence the way parents care for their children. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of parental awareness of the impact of parenting styles on children's character development, as well as the need for support from the environment and community to create conditions conducive to children's healthy and balanced development. It is hoped that this research can contribute to researchers, educational practitioners and policy makers in designing programs that support effective child care, especially in the context of fishing communities in coastal areas.
