Abstract

The problem experienced by teachers is the low level of students' reading skills. This study aims to (1) find out the relationship between the level of reading skills on learning outcomes, (2) find out the obstacles experienced by students in improving reading skills, (3) find out the factors that cause barriers to improving reading skills, (4) find efforts to overcome barriers in improving reading skills. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Collecting data in this research is using the methods (1) Observation, (2) Test, (3) Documents, and (3) Interview. The data that has been collected will be reprocessed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and concluding. The subjects of this study were students from each class at SD IT Darul Adzkia, Tebing Tinggi City. While the object of this research is the level of students' ability in reading and student learning outcomes. The results of the study found factors that affect the level of children's reading skills. This study also found a relationship between the level of reading skills with children's learning outcomes. This research has had a positive impact on improving children's reading skills and children's learning outcomes.

Abstract

TPQ Hidayatul Mubtadien applies the Qiro'ati Method in teaching the Qur'an. TPQ Hidayatul Mubtadien, in managing its institution, implements Total Quality Management to produce quality graduates. This study aimed to determine the implementation of TQM in TPQ Hidayatul Mubtadien Jlamprang Wonosobo. This study uses qualitative methods and field research that focuses on the problem of implementing TQM in TPQ Hidayatul Mubtadien and the nature of analytical descriptive research. The research location is at TPQ Hidayatul Mubtadien which is on Jalan Karya Tralis 3 No. 1, Jlamprang Village, Wonosobo District, Wonosobo Regency. The research time is from November 2021 to February 2022. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using data documentation, data reduction, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that TPQ Hidayatul Mubtadien applies the concept of Total Quality Management in managing the institution. TPQ Hidayatul Mubtadien implements the values ​​of TQM in managing institutions in the following ways: Focus on Customers, Obsession with Quality, Scientific Approach, Long-term commitment, Teamwork for continuous improvement, Education and Training, Controlled Freedom, and Unity of Purpose.

Abstract

This study aims to discover what and how to develop positive mental resilience at Madrasah Diniyyah Puteri Padang Panjang, West Sumatra. Even though all the santri are female, they are still equipped with endurance, mentality, self-strength, and struggle tips. Madrasah Diniyyah Puteri Padang Panjang continues to provide mental-based programs. Hence, the santri can later stand on their feet and become messengers of goodness and virtue for the wider community. This research is naturalistic qualitative research and uses an ethnomethodological approach. The research subjects were selected and randomized using a purposive sampling technique with a snowball model. The results showed that female students’ resilience at Madrasah Diniyyah Padang Panjang, West Sumatra, has essentially been based on a solid foundation by Rahmah El Yunusiyyah. A reliable mental education forerunner is then sown to the next generation yearly. The mental character remains strong and thrives. Several factors leading to this resilience were presented, grounded, and propagated in Madrasah Diniyyah Padang Panjang, West Sumatra; first, preserving the ancestral heritage; second, the factors of mental regeneration of women; third, the characteristics for degrading women by irresponsible persons. The programs for female students were: A Good Leader Program, Super Santri Camp Program, Dream Realization Program, Santri Pledge Program, and Character Survey Program, Room Shifting Program.

Abstract

There are often problems in the preparation of school development plans, starting with a lack of assistance, supervision, competence and unsystematic plans made. Thus, the purpose of this study was to describe the school development plan at the Kesuma Elkaemde Education Foundation. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this research are principals, teachers, and all other devices that take part in the preparation of school plans. The data collection technique of this research is by interview, observation and documentation. After that, the data were analyzed by examining the data that had been collected, namely data reduction, verification, and data presentation. The results show that the school development plan at the Kesuma Elkaemde Education Foundation implements a school development plan by carrying out a Short-Term Annual Program Strategy which includes the First Year Program (2018–2019), Second Year Program (2019–2020), Third Year Program (2020–2021 ), Fourth Year Program (2021–2022). In addition, there is also a 12-year Long-Term Program Strategy in the form of vision, mission and goals. And every development plan that is prepared is oriented to character and cultural education oriented to systems of thinking, values, morals and beliefs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the educational process and efforts to instill the values ​​of Islamic education in early childhood, as well as to find the relevance of the importance ​​of Islamic education in early childhood with contemporary Islamic teaching through the study and analysis of the Qur'an sura li 'Imra n verses 33-37. The method used in this research is a qualitative method that was explored through library research. Data collection techniques were carried out by tracing the meaning and content of verses through books of interpretation and various references related to early childhood education content that had relevance to Surah Ali-'Imran verses 33-37, then explained the process of education in early childhood which contained in it, and describes the values ​​of Islamic education that can be learned from the contents of these verses. Furthermore, the data obtained in this study were analyzed using content analysis techniques through the tahlili interpretation approach to reveal the meaning, and main content of the verses studied. The results of the research in this thesis found that the educational process for early childhood contained in the Q.S. li 'Imran verses 33-37 include: (1) being a pious parent figure for the child, (2) naming the child with a good name, (3) praying for the child to avoid the devil's disturbance, (4) choosing a character a pious teacher, (5) creating a good family environment, (6) providing a halal living for children. Meanwhile, efforts to instill the values ​​of Islamic education in children from an early age based on these verses include the values ​​of faith, sharia values, and moral values. The relevance of the value of early childhood education in verse to contemporary Islamic educational institutions is to offer a vision and mission of early childhood education, select good educator figures, and foster spirituality in students in early childhood Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Kajian ini membahas tentang pengaruh manajemen sarana prasarana pendidikan dan efektifitas belajar terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruh manajemen sarana prasarana pendidikan dan efektifitas belajar terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMP Nurul Jadid, Karanganyar, Paiton, Probolinggo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian analisis data kuantitatif dengan penelitian regresi linier berganda yang menggunakan rumus parsial somers’d dimana variabel X1 diuji kekorelasiannya terhadap Y (X1-Y) dan X2 terhadap Y (X2-Y) serta menggunakan rumus simultan untuk regresi linier sederhana dengan variabel X1, X2 terhadap variabel Y (X1,X2-Y). Adapun data yang diperoleh dari analisis tersebut menunjukan terjadinya signifikan dengan Approx. Sig. 0.000 < 0.05 artinya, bahwa nilai data lebih kecil daripada 0.05 secara parsial yang menggunakan rumus somers’d, dan Approx. Sig. 0.000 < 0.05, yang artinya bahwa nilai data lebih kecil dari 0.05 secara simultan dengan menggunakan rumus regresi linier berganda.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of education financing in relation to efforts to improve the quality of education. This study focuses on the study of how the influence of financial management of education on quality of educationof the PKBM PELITA, Deli Serdang Regency. This research uses qualitative methods based on descriptive studies. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was performed using the Miles and Huberman model stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data validity test used triangulation and member crosscheck. The results showed that the management of educational finance had been done well 1) the process of budgeting according to the procedure; 2) sources of finance obtained from several sources of funds; 3) the constraining factor in the management of educational finance belongs to the flow of disbursement of funds long enough; 4) supervision and accountability in the educational finance is going well; and 5) Foundations, principals, vice principals, treasurers, school committees, teachers and UPTD Education involved in the education finance management process

Abstract

This study intends to find variable interrelationships: control locus, work readiness and evaluation of cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects in students of vocational school electrical installation engineering expertise program in Mojokerto City.. This research is an ex post facto data collection technique with locus of control variable questionnaire, work readiness variables covering three domains namely job readiness reviewed cognitive learning results using tests, work readiness reviewed affective realm learning results using questionnaires and work readiness reviewed psychomotor learning results using performance tests The results of this study have a positive and significant strong attachment between variable locus control and work readiness (with a value of sig. 0,000 reviewed from the learning outcomes of the cognitive realm, with a value of significant 0,000 reviewed from the results of learning affective realm and with a value of sig. 0.000 reviewed from the learning results of the psychomotor realm.

Abstract

The focus of this research is the Class IIB Tobelo Correctional Institution, because so far many drug users who have been fostered in the Class IIB Tobelo Correctional Institution have not succeeded in mental development. This is evident, when they leave the prison there is no change in mental and spiritual. In fact, they tend to return to normal as drug users. Inmates are members of the community who are temporarily exiled based on a judge's decision, with the aim of protecting the community. In prison, the inmates experience several sufferings that are almost never experienced before becoming prisoners, so that their psychological condition will be disturbed and result in mental disorders. In its implementation, the Head of the Kalapas Penitentiary will appoint and determine the Correctional Officer who serves as the Guardian of the Prisoners. The inmate guardian will carry out when the perpetrator of the crime is a prisoner and also the Correctional Inmates as long as the Correctional Inmates undergo a criminal period and the coaching process in interacting and communicating with fellow Correctional Inmates, officers, families and the community. The Correctional Guardian has the obligation to: Record the identity, background of criminal acts, background of social life and also explore the potential of the Correctional inmates with the aim that it can be developed and harmonized with the coaching program; b. Observing, observing, noting the development of coaching, changes in behavior in a positive direction, the relationship of Prisoners with their families and communities, and compliance and obedience to the rules and regulations in prisons.

Abstract

This study intends to describe the online learning process during the Covid-19 period at Madrasan Aliyah Negeri (MAN) "X" Sleman. This study also intends to compare the effectiveness of learning using the Google Meet platform with the Geschool platform. The research subjects included two moral creed teachers who used Google Meet with the Geschool platform. Data obtained by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that MAN "X" Sleman made several innovations in learning to increase the effectiveness of learning. Implementation of learning innovations by providing effective learning training, which includes training on the use of learning platforms, making videos and conducting several workshops. Learning innovation is a combination of top-bottom and bottom-up models. The curriculum applied in learning is a curriculum in emergency conditions by prioritizing essential materials. The results also show that student learning using the Geschool platform is more effective than using the Google classroom platform, both in terms of student learning activities, task completion, and final results.
