Abstract

Turnover intention among Generation Z has been increasing alongside the growing commodification of labor. Unfavorable working conditions, disproportionate pay compared to workload, contract-based employment, lack of job security, and anxiety over termination have driven this generation to seek new opportunities. This study aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction and employee commitment on turnover intention among Generation Z journalists. A quantitative approach was used with a sample of 110 journalists from the Media Group. The findings reveal that job satisfaction significantly reduces turnover intention. In contrast, employee commitment does not have a direct effect, although a negative relationship between the two was observed. Simultaneously, both variables influence turnover intention. The novelty of this research lies in identifying job satisfaction indicators such as competitive salary, training opportunities, involvement in problem solving, leave entitlements, motivation, SOP evaluation, teamwork, and appropriate job placement. Employee commitment is measured through perceptions of the company as a life asset, trust, and career opportunities. Turnover intention is assessed through new job opportunities, compensation, and personal decisions. The study recommends that companies enhance communication, involve employees in policy-making, and strengthen affective commitment to reduce turnover intention and create a healthier, more productive work environment. Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has transformed workforce training and professional development, necessitating the integration of technology-driven learning models to enhance competency acquisition and professional readiness. This study examines the relationships between Training and Professional Development (TPD), Emergency Preparedness Competency (EPC), Effectiveness of Technology Implementation in Education and Training (ETIET), and Performance and Readiness of Educators/Professionals (PREP). Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 70 employees at PT. Aginda Riau Abadi through a structured survey, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS was employed for analysis. The findings indicate that TPD and EPC have significant direct effects on PREP, but their influence is stronger when mediated through ETIET, confirming the crucial role of technology in bridging training outcomes and professional performance. The results demonstrate that organizations that invest in VR-based simulations, AI-driven learning platforms, and interactive digital tools can significantly enhance workforce preparedness, crisis management skills, and overall performance. This study highlights the necessity of a blended learning approach that integrates competency-based training with technology-enhanced learning experiences, ensuring professionals are equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical, technology-adaptive skills. Future research should explore longitudinal effects of technology-mediated training. Keywords: Training; Professional; Development; Emergency; Preparedness

Abstract

Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) refers to a strategic method for controlling inventory across multiple tiers of the supply chain, encompassing everything from suppliers to end retailers. Research related to MEIO remains fragmented, with diverse modeling techniques and limited empirical validation. This study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) on MEIO published during the period 2015–2025 using the PRISMA protocol. A total of 1,333 initial articles were identified from the Scopus, Crossref, and Google Scholar. The review results categorize MEIO research based on application domains, methodologies, optimization techniques, and performance indicators. Key findings reveal three research gaps: (1) limited integration of digital technologies such as blockchain and IoT, (2) a lack of empirical case studies in developing countries, and (3) the absence of a risk-based decision-making framework. The novelty of this study lies in providing a structured synthesis of MEIO research trends, proposing a conceptual framework for future applications, and delivering practical implications for academics and practitioners. This review contributes to the advancement of supply chain management by offering directions for innovation in multi-echelon inventory planning.
