Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how investing decisions are impacted by financial behavior, financial literacy, and emotional intelligence. Quantitative research is what this kind of study is. The data analyzed is primary data gathered from the responses of the millennial generation residing in Medan, who were given questionnaires using non-random sampling techniques. One hundred responders made up the research sample. The PLS (Partial Least Square) 4.0 software was used to analyze the data, which included the following characteristics: the millennial generation, which is composed of people aged 27 to 42 who reside in Medan, are productive, and earn personal income. The findings of this study indicate that while financial literacy and emotional intelligence factors have a favorable and significant impact on investing decisions, financial conduct has no discernible effect. For the millennial generation to be more inclined to invest and have sound financial standing in the future, financial literacy, and emotional intelligence require being further enhanced.

Abstract

Research has increasingly focused on psychological factors that enhance employee engagement and improve outcomes. While prior studies have shown a positive link between psychological meaningfulness and contextual performance, the mediating role of employee engagement in this relationship remains underexplored. This study investigated the connections between psychological meaningfulness, employee engagement, and contextual performance. Specifically, it examined how psychological meaningfulness influences contextual performance, the impact of psychological meaningfulness on employee engagement, and the effect of employee engagement on contextual performance. Data from 380 nurses in Ghana were analyzed using PLS-SEM 3. The results revealed that psychological meaningfulness significantly enhances both employee engagement and contextual performance. Moreover, employee engagement was positively linked to contextual performance and served as a significant mediator in the relationship between psychological meaningfulness and contextual performance. These findings suggest that organizations should prioritize psychological meaningfulness to foster employee dedication and enthusiasm, which, in turn, boosts job performance and participation in activities benefiting both individuals and the organization Keywords: Contextual Performance; Employee Engagement; Employee Engagement Theory; Nurses; Psychological Meaningfulness

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how innovation and entrepreneurial abilities affect the performance of MSME companies in Binjai City. Researchers discovered that MSMEs are less creative based on observations, and it is nevertheless evident that they lack broad, innovative ideas. Additionally, MSMEs lack the broad insights necessary to create new products, making it challenging for them to succeed as a firm. MSMEs frequently deal with a drop in product production, which causes them to receive profits that fall short of their goals and see an annual dip in revenue. Using primary data sources, this study employs a qualitative research methodology. A questionnaire is used to collect the data. The study's findings support the third hypothesis, which holds that both creativity and entrepreneurial skills simultaneously have significant effects on company success.

Regarding the immunization campaign, the City of Jember in East Java Province had a variety of reactions, including uncertainty over the vaccine's efficacy, safety, and halal (permitted to consume according to Islamic law). Refusing the vaccination, which is seen as a medicine, is interpreted as a way of expressing a desire to use halal pharmaceuticals. Through the mindset of the Jember community, this study seeks to examine the substantial impact of religiosity and halal awareness on the desire to use halal pharmaceutical items. Purposive sampling procedures were used to choose 100 respondents from the community of Jember drug users. The Path Analysis using SPSS analysis tool version 23 is the analysis technique employed. Abstract

Indonesia has the largest number of MSMEs in Southeast Asia. Very few of them are legal. The government introduced the Individual Company (Perusahaan Perseorangan) program to address this issue. The highlighted issue is the socialization activities by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia. This study aims to assess whether the socialization strategy conducted is well received by MSMEs, as well as its sustainability strategies, and whether this socialization strategy can move MSMEs toward the objectives set by the organization. This study was conducted in the West Nusa Tenggara Province (Nusa Tenggara Timur/NTB) with phenomenological principles, using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) as data analysis by combining two measurements, namely RMT and EPIC Model, which have never been done before in other studies. Based on Relationship Management Theory and the EPIC Model, this study shows that the Ministry of Law and Human Rights applies an attractive and persuasive strategy so that MSMEs understand the objectives it conveys through the socialization of Individual Companies. An ongoing strategy is also carried out to maintain relationships with MSMEs.  Keywords: MSMEs; Management; Strategic Management; Individual Company; Phenomenology

Abstract

This research aims to identify effective marketing strategies to increase sales. Thus, leads to business existence and sustainability. This research is classified as field research with a descriptive qualitative approach and has selected 14 food vendors at Pantai Padang as a sample group using nonprobability sampling, namely snowball sampling. Previous research explores strategies to increase sales for various businesses, but there is a dearth of research focusing on marketing strategies tailored to traders operating within a specific environment. To address this gap, a SWOT analysis was conducted to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats facing the merchants. This study uses IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary) and EFAS (External Factor Analysis Summary) to assess the internal and external factors that influence the sustainability and performance of their businesses. The results of the IFAS analysis showed strong internal environmental conditions. The EFAS analysis shows that the traders are effectively capitalizing on opportunities while mitigating threats. In the Cartesian diagram, the SWOT analysis is in the first quadrant, known as the aggressive strategy quadrant, which is favorable for the business. The analysis performed will influence the long-term viability of the business, encompassing continuous operations, growth, strategic development to ensure business continuity, and expansion efforts, all of which contribute to the sustainability and ongoing existence of the business. Abstract

This inquiry is to find out, analyze, and integrate existing findings regarding the application and effectiveness of the Fama-French Five Factor Model in various market contexts through a systematic literature review approach. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach through a systematic literature review and bibliometric analysis through VosViewer software, obtained from 27 articles. Based on the literature review results, the Fama-French Five Factor Model has been shown to be superior in explaining asset price anomalies in several markets, such as Australia and South Africa, compared to previous models. However, its effectiveness varies depending on market characteristics, with less consistent results in emerging markets such as Asia, where profitability and investment factors are not always significant. In the context of the Indonesian market, research shows that FF5FM does not always outperform the three-factor model, suggesting that the addition of new factors may not always be relevant in all markets.
