The COVID-19 pandemic can affect not only the physical but also mental health of the survivors. Particularly, mental health problems may influence their emotional, cognitive, physical, and social aspects. Meanwhile, one of the factors that closely relate to the problems is spirituality. This study aimed to determine the relationship between spirituality and mental health in COVID-19 survivors. The type of the research was descriptive correlation. The research respondents totaled 100 COVID-19 survivors. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. To collect the data, The Daily Spiritual Experience Scale (DSES) was utilized to measure spirituality and The Mental Health Continuum-Short Form (MHC-SF) to measure mental health. The results showed that the majority of respondents had a high level of spirituality (52%) and a good mental health (64%). The chi-square test results obtained a P value of 0.003, which means there was a significant relationship between spirituality and mental health in COVID-19 survivors. This research showed that the higher the spirituality, the better the mental health of COVID-19 survivors.

DPT-HB (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, hepatitis B) immunizations can cause local reactions such as pain, redness, and swelling. Generally, children are a little fussy and feverish after immunization. Aloe vera therapy was chosen because 95% of the content is water which can reduce fever through a mechanism of absorbing body heat. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of aloe vera poultice to lower the body temperature of babies after DPT-HB immunization in the Work Area of Pasar Baru Health Center, Merangin District. The study design was pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study consisted of 20 babies who were selected by accidental sampling method. The primary data collection involved measuring the babies' body temperatures with a thermometer, administering aloe vera therapy wrapped in a sterile gauze, and using an observational sheet to record the results of the temperature measurements. A t-test was used for data analysis. The results of the study showed that the mean of babies’ body temperature decrease after giving aloe vera poultice was 0.64°C and 85% of it became normal. The results of the statistical test showed that aloe vera poultice was effective in lowering the body temperature of babies after DPT-HB vaccination (p 0.000). Community health centers were required to recommend to mothers the therapy of aloe vera as an alternative treatment for fever their babies might have after DPT-HB immunization.

Implementing responsive feeding is essential for modifying the nutritional status and overall well-being of young children. The aim of this narrative review is to provide a thorough synthesis of the current evidence on responsive feeding and its impact on the nutritional status of young children. Searches were conducted in PubMed and Medline with keywords "Responsive feeding," AND “young children”. The inclusion and exclusion criteria were defined to choose the most pertinent studies. The initial search yielded 106 articles, with a total of 22 full-text articles examined, 12 of which were appropriate for inclusion. The review emphasizes the function of responsive feeding in maintaining healthy eating habits, reducing childhood obesity, and promoting optimal growth and development in young children. The study highlights the significance of early nutrition treatments that prioritize responsive feeding to enhance nutritional quality and foster healthy eating habits during early childhood. It also discusses the difficulties that caregivers experience when implementing responsive feeding methods, such as competing societal norms and external influences. Furthermore, the review identifies data gaps and recommends additional studies to investigate the long-term impacts of responsive feeding on children's nutrition, and health outcomes. In conclusion, the narrative review underlines the significance of responsive feeding in supporting optimal nutrition and healthy eating habits in young children.

The rise of elderly number poses a challenge for many nations worldwide, particularly developing countries such as Indonesia. The presence of elderly integrated health post could serve as a supportive facility for elderly healthcare at community level. The optimal health services provided at integrated health post can contribute to the improvement of elderly’s wellbeing. This research aimed to explore the elderly's experiences of the necessity of health services in the Elderly Integrated Health Post of Patebon II Kendal Public Health Center. A qualitative approach with phenomenological approach was used in this study. The data collection was done by using semi-structured in-depth interviews to 10 elders lasting between 45-60 minutes. To ensure trustworthiness, member checking and peer-review were conducted on all interview transcripts before the process of data analysis by qualitative thematic analysis. This study found four major themes, namely: health care experiences, not diverse integrated health post service, efficiency of services, and health provider characteristic. The elders stated that they were unable to meet all their health needs. The integrated health post must offer comprehensive services, including psychological, social, and spiritual needs, not only focusing on their physical needs. Thus, the services can have a positive impact on the improvement of elderly quality of life.

Side effects of tuberculosis (TB) treatment with anti-tuberculosis drugs (ATDs) often include nausea. To address this symptom, an Islamic mindfulness approach is needed. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the effectiveness of Islamic mindfulness in reducing nausea intensity among TB patients undergoing ATD therapy. The research followed a quasi-experimental design with a pre-post test control group design. The study included TB patients experiencing nausea symptoms during ATD therapy. The sample of 38 participants was selected through consecutive sampling, which 19 individuals assigned to the intervention group receiving an Islamic mindfulness program consisting of meditation exercises and Islamic reflection, while the remaining 19 individuals formed the control group receiving standard care. Nausea intensity was measured using the Index Nausea Vomiting and Retching (INVR) scale before and after the intervention. The results demonstrated that the intervention group experienced a significantly greater reduction in nausea intensity compared to the control group (p<0.0001), with a Cohen's-d effect size of 2.04. Over 98.0% of patients in the intervention group showed a reduction in nausea intensity surpassing the control group's average. In conclusion, this study indicated that Islamic mindfulness is effective in alleviating nausea intensity among TB patients undergoing ATD therapy.

Pregnant women at Mijen II Community Health Center, Demak Regency did not regularly attend antenatal care (ANC); although, they knew that ANC visits during pregnancy are important. Coverage of ANC visits by pregnant women to health workers is based on the standards of Health Ministry which have been set at a minimum of 6 times. The aim of the research was to determine the relationship between pregnant women's knowledge and attitudes about ANC and ANC visits. The type of research used was quantitative with cross-sectional design. The samples of this study were 39 respondents selected by using purposive sampling technique. Chi Square test was used to analyze the research data. The results of data analysis showed that there was no relationship between knowledge of pregnant women (p-value 0.176) and attitudes of pregnant women (p-value 0.060) with ANC visits. The results of survey with interviews to pregnant women showed that 80% of pregnant women did not do ANC regularly for reasons of being lazy, working, having no complaints, and having a poor economy. Health workers, especially midwives, were expected to further increase the screening of pregnant women, so they can achieve the target of 100% ANC visits by health workers. The screening should not only be done by waiting for mothers’ visit at community health center or integrated service post but by making home visits.

The prevalence of hypertension in elderly continues to increase annually. Hypertension in elderly is influenced by biological changes that occur in old age and other factors, including poor exercise habits and unhealthy dietary patterns. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between poor exercise habits and unhealthy dietary patterns with the occurrence of hypertension in elderly. This research adopted a cross-sectional approach with 89 respondents selected through purposive sampling method. The analysis results showed that 50 respondents (56.2%) had poor exercise habits, 53 respondents (59.6%) experienced hypertension, and 59 respondents (66.3%) had an unhealthy dietary pattern. The bivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between dietary patterns (p value 0.013) and exercise habits (p value 0.000) with the occurrence of hypertension in elderly. Therefore, to prevent hypertension in elderly, an appropriate education and intervention were needed to enhance awareness and promote healthy behaviors among elderly with the hope of reducing the risk of hypertension.
