Abstract

Direct Regional Head Election is one of the goals of decentralization within the framework of regional autonomy. With the Direct Regional Head Election is expected to build and realize the accountability of local government. Election of Head of Boyolali District assumed how the candidates of Head of Region able to influence and win the heart of society hence participation of society of Boyolali Regency at election moment because beroroentasi on improving prosperity and empowerment of society of Boyolali Regency. Voting in the District Head Election Boyolali very dependent of the behavior of community voters Boyolali District. In addition to voter behavior from the community, the role of Head of Region in leading Boyolali District is also very important. Teter Village and Wates Village Simo District Boyolali District as one of the areas that vote in the District Head Election Boyolali Year 2015 is relatively small for the first candidate Head of Region is Seno Samodro.This study aims to determine the behavior of voters in the village of Teter and Wates Village in District Head Election Boyolali Year 2015 who feel dissatisfied with Seno Samodro so that voters divert his voice. In addition, this study also aims to determine the acquisition of Seno Samodro votes in the selection of incumbent leaders in the village of Teter and Wates village is relatively small. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with observation, interview and documentation technique.The results of this study indicate that there is disappointment and dissatisfaction of the people of Teter Village and Wates Village against Seno Samodro. This is because the policies promised by Seno Samodro to the people of Teter Village and Wates Village are not kept. Besides that, Seno Samodro is considered to have less responsibility to be the Head of Region well, then the weaknesses of Seno Samodro that happened in Teter Village and Wates Village are used by Agus Purmanto to create a strategy in attracting people sympathy to choose Agus Purmanto. Abstract

The education sector is one of those affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. In order to stop the spread of Covid 19, the government has implemented a distance learning process. The problem of distance learning is that students feel bored at home, signal limitations and piles of assignments. With this, it can lead to some psychological problems that occur in students such as anxiety, stress or depression. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of distance learning on students' psychology during the Covid 19 pandemic in Sumedang. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with a sample size of 220 junior and senior high school students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data collection tool used is the DASS 21 questionnaire consisting of 21 questions about anxiety, stress and depression. The data collection process is carried out using the Google form platform. The data were analyzed using a frequency distribution. The results showed (42.27%) experienced anxiety, (44.56%) experienced stress and (23.18%) experienced depression. The most psychological problem experienced by students during distance learning is stress. Therefore, it is necessary to increase coaching and counseling programs to overcome anxiety, stress and depression in the face of distance learning

Abstract

Hypertension is still the leading cause of death in the elderly. Physiological and degenerative processes in the elderly also cause changes in cholesterol levels. It is known that hypercholesterolemia is a risk factor for hypertension. If hypertension and hypercholesterolemia occur in the elderly, it is hazardous for the health of the elderly. Total cholesterol is an important parameter to assess the risk of hypertension. The study aimed to obtain an overview of the total cholesterol profile and the degree of hypertension in elderly hypertension. The research design was a cross-sectional method. Nonprobability sampling with accidental sampling was chosen as a sample selection technique. The sample size was 103. The quantitative descriptive data analysis was presented in a frequency distribution. The results of the study provide an overview of the distribution of elderly hypertension, referring to ACC/AHA classification at hypertension grade I (39.8%), hypertension grade II (35%), and hypertension grade III (25.2%). Meanwhile, the total cholesterol profile was in the desirable range (44.7%), borderline high (26.2%), and high (29.1%). The conclusion that the highest cholesterol levels are in the normal range with the highest degree of hypertension in category I. Future research should examine the factors that cause hypertension in the elderly with normal cholesterol levels.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya kesehatan jiwa yang ditandai dengan adanya klien gangguan jiwa yang belum melakukan pengobatan, dan ada klien yang tidak melakukan pengobatan secara teratur ke puskesmas sehingga terjadi kekambuhan serta ditemukannya perilaku klien yang mengancam keamanan dan kenyamanan warga masyarakat. Upaya penanganannya dengan memberikan pelayanan keperawatan kesehatan jiwa berbasis masyarakat meliputi upaya promotif, preventif, kuratif dan rehabilitative dengan pembentukan Desa Siaga Sehat Jiwa guna untuk memberdayakan masyarakat menuju kemandirian berupa masyarakat sadar, mau dan mampu mencegah serta mengatasi masalah kesehatan jiwa warganya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk terbentuknya Desa Siaga Sehat Jiwa, terdeteksinya kondisi kesehatan jiwa masyarakat, dilakukannya pelatihan kader kesehatan jiwa untuk memberdayakan warga masyarakat, dan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran warga tentang pentinganya kesehatan jiwa. Metodologi dilakukan dengan menggunakan kaji tindak untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan di masyarakat tentang masalah kesehatan jiwa. Adapun yang dihasilkan adalah terbentuknya Desa Siaga Sehat Jiwa, adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan kader kesehatan jiwa dalam deteksi setelah 5 kali pendampingan, dan hasil deteksi menunjukan peningkatan jumlah ODGJ sebesar 19 dan hampir setengahnya kelompok risiko mengalami hipertensi. Abstract

IMPROVING DISASTER PREPAREDNESS SCHOOL READINESS THROUGH TRAINING OF DISASTER PREPARED SCHOOL CADRE STUDENTS AT SMPN 1 CIMALAKA. Natural disasters are natural phenomena that occur directly or indirectly to disturb human life. Disasters can happen anywhere and anytime. Therefore it is necessary to prepare the community in facing disasters, including the school community. Disaster preparedness education needs to be carried out immediately considering that most Indonesians live in disaster-prone areas. The school community is one of the main stakeholders for preparedness against natural disasters. The purpose of this community service is to provide training for students of SMPN I Cimalaka to be prepared as cadres of disaster prepared schools. After the training, 45 students of disaster preparedness cadres at SMPN I Cimalaka have received training for 3 days of disaster preparedness. And the results of the evaluation showed that the participants' knowledge and skills were all good. Disaster preparedness cadre activities are quite active, namely by disseminating disaster preparedness to fellow students in extracurricular activities such as OSIS, Scouts and PMR. In addition, disaster preparedness cadres are also often involved in disaster recognition training by schools.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak terhadap kesehatan jiwa masyarakat seperti mengalami perubahan reaksi emosional berupa ketakutan akan penularan, perasaan stigmatisasi, kesepian, kebosanan, kemarahan, kegelisahan, kecemasan dan rasa ketidakpastian. Semakin seseorang merasa cemas yang berlebihan maka kekebalan tubuh  menurun dan bila tidak segera diatasi akan berdampak terjadinya masalah kesehatan jiwa yang lebih berat sehingga diperlukan upaya promosi, pencegahan, pengobatan dan rehabilitasi secara menyeluruh untuk mempertahankan kesehatan jiwa melalui pelayanan kesehatan jiwa masyarakat oleh perawat puskesmas sebagai pemberi pelayanan primer. Kualitas pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat dalam menjalankan peran perawat pemegang program kesehatan jiwa dapat menentukan keberhasilan pelayanan kesehatan jiwa di masayrakat sehingga perlu dilakukan pelatihan tentang peran perawat dalam pelayanan keperawatan kesehatan jiwa yang berbasis masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada msyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat puskesmas dalam memberikan pelayanan keperawatan kesehatan jiwa berbasis komunitas yang meliputi: kemampuan manajemen pelayanan keperawatan kesehatan jiwa komunitas dan pemberian asuhan keperawatan kesehatan jiwa komunitas pada masa pandemik Covid 19. Metodelogi yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan pendekatan model Community Mental Health Nursing (CMHN), dilakukan dengan cara daring selama 2 hari dan 1 hari pendampingan praktek lapangan dengan luring kepada 36 perawat pemegang program kesehatan jiwa Se-Kabupaten Sumedang serta dilakukan 3 kali monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil yang ditemukan dalam kegiatan ini terlaksananya kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan CMHN pada perawat puskesmas, adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dengan rata-rata skor 20 dan kemampuan perawat puskesmas dalam melakukan manajemen pelayanan kesehatan jiwa sebesar 25. Perawat dapat menerapkan program CMHN.

Abstract

Teenagers are defined as the transition period from childhood to adulthood. In Indonesia, according to population projection data (2014), the number of teenagers reaches around 65 million or 25 percent over the 255 million population (Ministry of Health, 2015). In the 2014-2019 health development target, teenager reproductive problems are one of the biggest issues that must be a concern, one of which is the understanding of menarche or menstruation experienced. Data shows that a quarter of teens never talks about menstruation before experiencing menarche. Insufficient knowledge about menarche causes anxiety problems in adolescents, unpreparedness in dealing with menarche, and poor personal hygiene during menstruation which can have an impact on reproductive health. Based on this analysis, it is considered important to carry out community service to improve understanding and knowledge of menarche care at elementary school age. Audiovisual teaching media was used as a material and method. The sample size for community services was 50 participants, from 4 to 6-grade students. A self-administered questionnaire was used for pre and post-test data collection. The results showed differences between pre and post-test about knowledge of menarche care. Before applying the community service, there were 18% of girls were aware of menarche and menstrual hygiene. Meanwhile, the post-test result showed an improvement to 64%. Significant differences were observed among girls in terms of knowledge and perception related to menarche care. The promotion of health through education is expected to be able to increase the knowledge of young girls, so they can achieve both physical and psychological care and health.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has a significant impact on mental health conditions, such as experiencing psychosocial problems marked by emotional reaction’s changes, e.g. anxiety, fear of transmission, depression, stigma and social discrimination against people who are confirmed positive for COVID-19. The results of a survey in one village in Sumedang Regency show us that they have mental-emotional disorders with an average Self Reporting Questionnaire score of 14, so efforts are needed to overcome them by CMHN nurses as mental health service providers in the community. Therefore, further efforts are needed to optimize the ability of CMHN nurses in the management of psychosocial nursing care. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and ability of CMHN nurses in providing psychosocial nursing care to overcome psychosocial problems in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The methodology used is training and mentoring with an Intermediate Course Community Mental Health Nursing (IC-CMHN) model approach. Evaluation of this activity was carried by pretest and posttest also using the Behavioral Health Care Competency Survey instrument. The results obtained in the CMHN training and mentoring activities for nurses in primary health service are an increase in nurse’s knowledge which was originally worth 71 to 95 and shows changes in the level of nurse readiness mostly from low to moderate levels.

Abstract

Aims: Since the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak, nurses have been actively involved for 24 hours in providing nursing care to Covid-19 patients both in hospital and public health centers. As part of the front liner, the role of nurses during fighting against Covid-19 requires good knowledge and competence. This review describes the articles regarding nurses’ knowledge and competency toward Covid-19 that have been published. Methods: The research articles were retrieved from the Scopus database and Science direct database. Results: The major findings of the review showed that nurses almost have a good knowledge regarding the Covid-19 outbreak. However, it is widely reported that nurses are insufficiently trained. Most of them only read guidelines that have been established by the government. Furthermore, the nurses do not feel confident responding effectively to the Covid-19 pandemic. The other issues according to the articles were the need for support, motivation, material especially personal protective equipment so that the nurses would perform their role better. The result of the study contributes to the competency of Covid-19 pandemic preparedness among nurse professions. Conclusions : The findings of the study also would be evidence-based for the government, nurse managers to prepare nurses for fighting against outbreak response. According to the review, it is recommended that all nurses must be facilitated to get training or education periodically regarding Covid-19.

Abstract

Dalam pendidikan keperawatan banyak metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mencetak perawat agar mempunyai sikap profesionalisme. Salah satu metode pembelajaran keperawatan yang digunakan pada saat mahasiswa dapat melihat pasien secara langsung di lapangan disebut pembelajaran praktek klinik keperawatan. Seringkali mahasiswa keperawatan yang praktik klinik di rumah sakit akan mengalami kecemasan di awal praktik. Penyebab kecemasan antara lain tidak bisa berkomunikasi dengan pasien, tidak bisa melaksanakan tindakan keperawatan, target kompetensi tidak tercapai dan karena baru pertama kali praktek di Rumah Sakit. Selama praktek di Rumah Sakit mahasiswa harus dapat mencapai target kompetensi yang sesuai dengan kurikulum. Dengan adanya kecemasan yang dialami oleh mahasiswa dapat mempengaruhi terhadap pencapaian target kompetensi yang harus dicapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kecemasan dengan pencapaian target kompetensi dalam praktik klinik keperawatan dasar pada mahasiswa Tingkat II Prodi Keperawatan UPI Kampus Sumedang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan deskriptif korelasional. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan questioner ZSAS untuk kecemasan dan lemar checklist untuk pencapaian target kompetensi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah rata-rata tingkat kecemasan pada mahasiswa berada pada kecemasan ringan, rata-rata mahasiswa saat praktek klinik keperawatan dasar menunjukan pencapaian kompetensi baik dan tidak ada hubungan antar kecemasan dengan pencapaian kompetensi dengan nilai sig 0,687. Oleh karena masih adanya mahasiswa yangmengalami kecemasan, disarankan agar dilakukan terapi modalitas untuk mengatasi masalah kecemasan dalam menghadapi praktek klinik keperawatan..
