Abstract

This study aimed to identify the factors that influence the subjective well-being of mothers caring for hyperactive children. The problem faced in this study is the decrease in maternal well-being when caring for hyperactive children. The subjects of the study involved mothers caring for children with hyperactivity disorders from various social and economic backgrounds. Data were collected through interviews and observations, including questions about subjective well-being such as life satisfaction, positive effects, adverse effects, social support, knowledge, time management, physical condition, child behaviour, stress levels, personality, coping strategies, and maternal optimism. The results of this study revealed that lack of social support from family and environment, low knowledge of hyperactivity disorder, time management problems, as well as the mother's physical condition all contribute negatively to maternal subjective well-being. The child's hyperactive behaviour and high levels of difficulty also affect the mother's well-being. Denial of the child's symptoms and the mother's internal problems, such as anxiety and depression, also have a negative impact. However, the study also found that a personality that is resilient to adversity, effective coping strategies, a positive relationship with a hyperactive child, and an optimistic attitude of the mother can improve maternal subjective well-being. These findings emphasize the importance of providing social support, appropriate information, and training in stress management and coping strategies to mothers caring for hyperactive children.

Abstract

Indonesia's geographical location makes it a country prone to natural disasters. The effects of climate change in Indonesia also cause environmental damage that results in disasters. The cause of a series of natural disaster symptoms cannot be separated from human actions that damage nature, so disaster mitigation needs to be done as a form of anticipation. Disaster management in each region has a particular institution, the National Disaster Management Agency, abbreviated as BNPB. One of the BNPB programs that aims to increase the independence and resilience of communities living in vulnerable areas is the Destana program. Wedoro in Waru Subdistrict is a disaster-prone area, especially in floods, and has been running the Destana program since 2022. Researchers are interested in researching the evaluation of the Destana program in Wedoro. The purpose of the research is to evaluate and provide recommendations for the Destana program in Wedoro according to 6 indicators in the form of effectivity, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsivity, and accuracy. The type of research conducted is descriptive qualitative, using the William N. Dunn evaluation method and data collection techniques of observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that of the six fulfillment of evaluation indicators, there was one indicator that had not gone well, namely the efficiency indicator, due to the lack of utilization of human resources, so it could be concluded that the Destana program in Wedoro could be continued by increasing human resources in Wedoro Village.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the management of Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) raw material reserves at PT. Austindo Nusantara Jaya Agri (ANJ) Binanga. This is done to alleviate concerns about the decline in Crude Palm Oil (CPO) production and the rising costs of raw materials caused by less than ideal sales. The system used in this analysis is the Continuous Review System. Continuous Review is a technique employed that applies a quantitative and descriptive approach through observation and interviews. The research findings indicate that inventory costs amount to Rp. 315,092,755, which means that the total inventory costs can be reduced, even though previous inventory costs were recorded at Rp. 290,453,600, which appears to be lower. However, due to the minimal stock shortages and the management of waiting times thanks to the contracts agreed upon with suppliers, the effectiveness of the Continuous Review System in that analysis has been proven. This research highlights the urgency for smooth production, which requires the provision of stock and the quality of the final product, as well as offering practical guidelines to maximize inventory management in the palm oil industry.
