Abstract

Geoeducation plays a critical role in promoting public understanding of geological processes, conservation, and disaster mitigation through education. This comprehensive review examines the trends and approaches used in geoheritage education, emphasizing its potential in disaster risk reduction. A bibliometric analysis of 192 documents from Scopus (2020–2024) is followed by an in-depth content analysis of selected studies. The findings highlight a variety of educational methods, including field-based learning, media-based platforms (such as documentaries and virtual reality), and museum-based education. While these approaches show promise, several gaps in the research are identified, such as the limited integration of advanced digital technologies, a lack of long-term impact studies, underutilization of geoheritage in formal education, and insufficient interdisciplinary perspectives, particularly in relation to disaster mitigation. The study emphasizes the need for future research to address these gaps and suggests that more comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and innovative approaches, including the integration of disaster risk reduction, can enhance the effectiveness of geoeducation in promoting conservation, mitigation, and societal engagement with geoheritage

Abstract

This research examines the accountability of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) for accident victims at level crossings without barriers from the perspective of Maqashid Syariah, with a case study on Jalan Padang, Medan Tembung. The purpose of this research is to identify the factors causing accidents, formulate solutions to reduce the accident rate, and analyze the accountability of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI) towards the victims from the perspective of Maqashid Syariah. This research uses qualitative methods, and the type of research is empirical juridical with a case approach, legislative approach, and conceptual approach. The research results show that PT KAI cannot be held directly responsible for accidents at level crossings without gates because the responsibility for installing gates and regulating level crossings lies with the government according to road class. Factors that cause the absence of gates at all level crossings include budget limitations, the large number of crossings, the complexity of installation authority, and the lack of public awareness. Solutions to reduce accidents at level crossings include public outreach, closing unofficial crossings, installing concrete barriers to block vehicles, and regular evaluation and supervision by the government. From the perspective of Maqashid Syariah, particularly the principle of preserving life (Hifzhu An-Nafs), PT. KAI still has a moral responsibility to assist accident victims by helping with insurance claims for accident victims, enhancing security, and educating the public, even though it is not directly responsible for the installation of crossing gates. This research concludes the need for cooperation between PT KAI, the government, and the community to improve safety at level crossings. Keywords: Accountability, Accident, train, Level Crossing, Maqashid Shariah

Abstract

Humans are identical with a difference, because Allah Azza Wajalla created humans in different conditions. In fact, this difference has become a decree of Allah (Sunnatullah). On the other hand, humans are also given the nature of having a feeling of attraction to other types, especially when they hit puberty or adolescence. The feeling of attraction is the beginning of the feeling of belonging or the feeling of love. So for those who have reached a mature or mature age, they will focus their love on the desire to build a family or a household. Conflict in a household is a reality that cannot be avoided. Conflict can have a positive or negative impact. So managing conflict requires maturity to think. However, not all families are able to resolve their conflicts, therefore counseling is needed in resolving a conflict in the family, so that a peaceful family can be created or we are left with a sakinah mawadah warohmah family.

Abstract

Fraud in financial reporting can occur either due to intentional actions or negligence, resulting in financial reporting that does not follow generally accepted accounting principles. When these differences and omissions are significant, they can have a serious impact on the decisions chosen by interested parties. The study is useful in order to understand how various factors in the fraud hexagon, namely pressure, ability, opportunity, rationalization, arrogance, and collusion, can influence the occurrence of fraud in financial reporting. The study was conducted at manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2019-2021. The research method adopted a quantitative approach and collected data through a purposive sampling technique using secondary data in the form of annual financial reports from manufacturing companies. The study involved 180 data observations obtained from 61 different companies. In order to analyze the data, the study used logistic regression analysis with the help of SPSS 24 software. The results of the study showed that the pressure factor had a positive impact on financial reporting fraud. However, other factors such as capability, opportunity, rationalization, arrogance and collusion have no effect on fraud in the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX throughout the period 2019-2021. For subsequent researchers, it is recommended to increase and expand other variables and objects other than manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
