Abstract

Sales activity plays an important role and needs to be controlled because it affects to the revenue. Sales control requires sales analysis that reveal undesirable developments need to be corrected. Internal Auditors who are not directly involved in operational activities can, therefore, assess all activities. Internal Auditors also provides objective information regarding sales data that will be the basis for management decision making. The purpose of this study is to: determine whether the internal audit on sales activities conducted by the company has been done adequately; determine whether the internal control over sales has been implemented effectively; and determine the role of internal audit in supporting the effectiveness of internal control sales. The authors perform hypothesis testing by doing descriptive analysis and statistical analysis. Based on the results, the effectiveness of internal control can be explained by the Internal Audit role of 63.2%.

Abstract

Human resources is a living asset owned by an organization that has an important role for the success of an organization. The success of human resource management as one of the benchmarks is in terms of employee productivity. The needs of employees in carrying out their work in order to achieve optimal work productivity need to be protected with a safe working environment, comfortable and serene, because it will cause the desire to work well. This research was conducted with the aim to know how the implementation of occupational safety and health program, how the productivity of employees work, and how much influence the implementation of occupational safety and health program on employees work productivity at PT Papyrus Sakti Paper Mill. The data collection tool in this research is by distributing questionnaires to 125 employees of production department. Analytical techniques used in the form of descriptive analysis techniques with quantitative approach. The result of descriptive statistical analysis for both variables shows the safety and health variables with employee productivity are in good category. Based on the results of testing on the implementation of occupational safety and health have a positive and significant effect on work productivity of employees. It can be proven from the calculation t count = 6.359> t table = 1.979 with the percentage of influence of 24.7%.

Abstract

Compensation is an important thing that employees should be given to employees appropriately, whether compensated financially or non-financially compensated. Employees need compensation such as bonuses, benefits, a comfortable working environment, and work that can show the ability for employees to provide the best performance to the company. One of the objectives of this study is to determine the effect of financial compensation on employee performance in Cargill Tropical Palm (ISK Lake View Estate) of West Kalimantan. The sample in this research is all of Cargill Tropical Palm (ISK Lake View Estate) field employee as many as 110 people used as material of analysis. The concept of variable compensation consists of three dimensions including direct, indirect, and non-financial financial compensation. Performance variables consist of quality of work, quantity of work, reliability, knowledge, and cooperation. The analysis used is descriptive analysis. Test validity, reliability, classical assumptions, regression, correlation, and determination. The data obtained is processed using SPSS Statistics 20.0 program and yields the equation Y = 24.662 + 0,543, which means that with increasing compensation of 24,662 it will increase the employee performance of 0,543.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of leadership and organizational culture on Organizational Citizenship Behavior employees. The study is a quantitative research. The data used in this study was collected through questionnaires and implemented to 106 of permanent employees in PT. Hatten Bali. The results of this study indicates that: 1) leadership have positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior which indicated by coefficient regression value 0,297 and significant value 0,003, 2) organizational culture have positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior which indicated by coefficient regression value 0,144 and significant value 0,039, and 3) leadership and organizational culture have simultaneously effect on organizational citizenship behavior which indicated by f-count value 6,846 > f-table and significant value 0,002. Regression analyze result adjusted R2 value 0,117. This indicates that organizational citizenship behavior can explained by leadership and organizational culture variable of 11,7 % while the remaining 88,3% explained by the others variable outside of this study.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to determine the effect of financial leverage on financial performance of the 39 selected property and real estate companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange over a period of five years (2011-2015). This work employed two financial leverage for the independent variables such as: debt ratio (DR) and debt to equity ratio (DER) in determining their effect on financial performance such as return on equity (ROE), sales growth and price earning ratio (PER) as a dependent variable. The secondary data were obtained from the financial statement (comprehensive income statement and statement of financial position) of the selected companies quoted from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Descriptive statistical test, simple linear regression test and hypothesis test are used to analyze the data of this research. The results of the analysis show that there is a positive and insignificant influence between financial leverage on the financial performance of 39 companies, proven by hypothesis testing of t-value (1.610) < t-table (1.65481) and P-value of 0.109, while the value of regression coefficient of financial performance of 0.008.

Abstract

In a work environment, employees from the staff level to top management once confront a problem that requires decision-making. Gender is a very influential factor in decision making. Gender defined here is not “gender”. It is the attitudes or attributes of a man or woman that can change over time and working conditions. This study aims to determine the effect of employee gender differences, knowing the ability of employee decision making and to know how much influence gender to decision making in the working environment of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk. Purbaleunyi Branch. The research method used is descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, and hypothesis test. The sample in this study were 114 respondents consisting of employees of data processing, staff, up to senior officer. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires and interviewing employees. Based on the results of data, gender and decision making are in good category. The conclusion of this research is gender influence toward decision making 57,3%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the extent of the influence of labor safety and health variables on performance of employees part of the AMT I in PT Pertamina Patra Niaga (Persero) Ujung Berung. For the method used in this research is to use quantitative methods, while for the collection of data is caaried out by means of disseminating a questionnaire to 128 employees part of the AMT I note that median value of median of the descriptive variables – safety and health work is 4,12 while for variable performance of employees is amounted to 4,09. Then from the results of a simple linear regression analysis showed that the work safety and health variables have an influence positively against variable employee performance, can be seen in results from t count i.e of 11,365 and t table of 1,9790. Then the probability values can be found in this study is 0,000 meaning that this regression model can be used to predict the performance.

Abstract

Along with high competition, the ability to survive in the business world strategic leadership is needed to face the competition. Strategic leadership that has dimensions of vision, business model articulation, information delivery well, clever in handling power, and emotional intelligence is one of the factors needed in the company in choosing the appropriate strategy competitiveness. While the competitive strategy itself has a dimension of leadership that low cost, differentiation, and focus. This study aims to measure great strategic leadership, competitive strategy and how much strategic leadership relationship and competitive strategy in SMEs cafe and restaurant. The population of this study is 557 SMEs cafe and restaurant it Kecamatan Bandung Wetan, with a sample of 50 SMEs. The methodology used is descriptive method associative. In this study using simple regression method obtained regression equation Y = 16043 + 0,306X, it means to have a positive relationship of 0.401. The result of research stated that strategic leadership influence 16,08% toward competitive strategy at SMEs cafe and restaurant.

Abstract

Capital structure is one of the issue that attract many researchers in the field of finance and an important issue for any company because of its capability to directly effect on companies’ financial position. This study aims to determine the effect of debt to equity ratio (DER) and debt to assets ratio (DAR) as the dimension of capital structure to return on equity (ROE) and return on assets (ROA) as dimensions of company profitability ratios, either simultaneously or partially on mining companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2011-2015. This research was conducted by using multiple linear regression analysis and yielded two equations of regression model. The data obtained are secondary data using documentation method. The result of regression analysis shows that the two dimensions of capital structure have significant effect to both dimensions of profitability simultaneously. While partially, only DAR which have a significant effect on the ROE and ROA.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Authentic Leadership (AL) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) also to analyze the relationship of these variables in Hypermart Bandung. This study consists of 4 dimension of AL (self awareness, relational transparency, internalized moral perspective, and balance processing) and 5 dimensions of OCB (altruism, civic virtue, conscientiousness, courtesy and sportsmanship). Research using linear regression and descriptive statistics. Data collection used questionnaire given to 150 employees of Hypermart Bandung. The results of this study indicate that the role of AL of the leader in Hypermart resulted in good category. Similarly, OCB on employees resulted in good category. It is also known that AL has a positive and significant effect on OCB. The level of AL influence on OCB is 23.7%, while 76.3% is influenced by other factors not explained in this research.
