Abstract

Before actually moving on to the reading comprehension level, students must be proficient in their pre-reading skills. Hence, the researcher intended to create a supplementary book based on local wisdom for second graders to help their pre-reading skills proficiency. This research used a Research and Development (R&D) method with the adaption of the ADDIE model. 2 teachers, 31 students, and 6 expert review were chosen as the sample. Then, the data collection was conducted through interviews and questionnaires techniques. The result showed a “very good” response from students with a 90,5% percentage on the experiment and a “very good” response from teachers with a 96,66% percentage. These findings were supported and categorized as “very good” by the validation of linguistic experts with 92,5% percentage, 98,75% percentage for content experts, and 93,75% for design experts. In conclusion, this supplementary book is decent for pre-reading skill proficiency.

Abstract

Based on the characteristics of elementary school students who are in line with Pieget's theory of development, children aged 7-11 years are in the concrete operational phase. Grade II students at SDN 04 Balimbing have visual and kinesthetic learning styles. So it requires learning media that is concrete and aligned with the characteristics of students, especially in PAI subjects and Taharah material. The aims of this study were (1) to develop autoplay-based interactive learning media for PAI subjects and Class II SD Taharah subject matter and (2) to determine the validity of autoplay-based interactive learning media. The research method used is research and development using the ADDIE development model. Stages of research using the ADDIE model. The results showed that autoplay-based interactive learning media for PAI subjects and morals in thaharah material were stated to be very valid with an average of 0.847. Validation was carried out by expert lecturers and Islamic education and ethics subject teachers. Based on these results, interactive learning media based on autoplay can be used in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the higher-order thinking skills questions in thematic learning for grade V of State Elementary School 34 Pontianak Selatan. This research and development used Borg & Gall’s development model consisting of research and information gathering, planning, development of the initial product, initial field trials, main product revisions, field trials, and operational product revisions. Data were obtained from 10 students in Grade V D and 32 students in Grade V C. The data collection instruments were interview guidelines, questionnaires, and tests in the form of HOTS questions. Data were analyzed using the feasibility analysis of HOTS questions in terms of material, construction, and language aspects as well as item analysis. The results showed that the HOTS questions consisted of 20 multiple choice questions, feasibility in terms of the construction aspect obtained a percentage of 96.6% with very good criteria, the material aspect was 85% with very good criteria, the language aspect was 93.3% with very good criteria. so that the HOTS test product is declared feasible for use in the learning process. As for the research results, the validity level of 20 HOTS-based questions is in the valid category, the degree of reliability is 0.855 (high). Based on the discriminating power and level of difficulty of the 20 items, there are 19 items that match HOTS characteristics.

Abstract

The 21st century requires students to have 4C skills, one of which is critical thinking skills. Learning at SMAN 1 Salimpaung is already oriented towards critical thinking skills, but it is still not optimal and the data regarding critical thinking skills is unknown. Therefore, data is needed regarding the analysis of students' critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the level of critical thinking skills of class XII students of SMAN 1 Salimpaung on the subject of inheritance. This research is a descriptive research. The research sample consisted of 30 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The instrument used in this study is in the form of essays on inheritance material which refers to aspects of critical thinking, Ennis (2011). The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the critical thinking skills of class XII students of SMAN 1 Salimpaung are obtained, namely the indicator of formulating questions 40% (very low), analyzing arguments 46.67% (low), considering the credibility of sources 59.17% (low), induction 21.67% (very low), deduction 41.67% (very low), make and consider decisions 20% (very low), make terms and definitions 40.83% (very low) and determine an action 24 .17% (very low) to obtain a general average of 36.53%. The conclusion of this study is that the level of critical thinking skills of class XII students of SMA Negeri 1 Salimpaung is generally still in the very low category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the benefits of reading corners in fostering a programmed interest in reading at SDN Ringinsari. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques using interviews and observation. Data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively by looking at the results of interviews and observations. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of a reading corner for fourth grade students at SD Negeri Ringisari is that there is a reading corner in the classroom to bring knowledge sources closer to students and to foster basic literacy. Increasing the frequency of reading students because at will they can read books in the reading corner, the use of the reading corner in the learning process is done 15 minutes before learning begins and when it is empty, the class reading corner is neatly arranged at the beginning of learning until the end of learning to make it easier for students to find the book you want to read.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive for science subjects related to the Circulatory System Material for Grade V of State Elementary School 30 Pontianak Selatan. This research and development used the 4D model (Four-D) consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate stages. Quantitative data results from the lift filled in by experts and students. Qualitative data were obtained from suggestions and notes by experts and students. The instruments used were interview guidelines, questionnaires, and documentation. The feasibility level of interactive teaching materials was based on the results of assessments by material experts, design experts, and language experts, while the practicality level of teaching materials was based on the results of student assessments. The feasibility of the material in the aspect of material obtained an average value of 80% and was considered "feasible". The feasibility of the materials in the design aspects obtained an average value of 85% and was considered "feasible". The feasibility of the materials in the language aspects obtained an average value of 100% and was considered "very feasible". The practicality of teaching materials obtained an average value of 85% and was considered "Practical".

Abstract

Learning models and media used by teachers in improving students' natural and social science knowledge competencies still use conventional learning models so that students' abilities in natural and social science learning competencies are still lacking. To overcome this, researchers suggest using varied learning models and media to improve students' natural and social science knowledge competencies. The couple card media is a paired card media that contains pictures and writings. The problem was discussed through experimental research. The results obtained from this study are the use of couple card media can improve the competence of natural and social science knowledge of fourth grade elementary school students with a total of 40 students. Data on natural and social science knowledge competencies were then analyzed with the polled variance t-test. The results of data analysis are tcount = 9.167 > ttable = 1.990 at a significance level of 5% with dk = 78, so, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, there is a significant difference in the competence of natural and social science knowledge between groups of students who are taught with a problem-based learning model assisted by media couple cards with students who are taught with conventional learning. When viewed from the average posttest value of natural and social science knowledge competence of the experimental group is 84.35 more than the control group is 70.7. It can be concluded that the problem-based learning model assisted by couple card media has an effect on the competence of natural and social science knowledge of fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to produce worksheet products for students based on Project Based Learning in learning mathematics to improve the attitude of learning responsibility in class V School decent basis. The research method used is research and development (RnD) by adapting the 10-step development model of Borg and Gall. The data sources for this research were the results of the validation of 2 validators, the results of the product test questionnaire of students and the results of the questionnaire on students' learning responsibility attitudes. The data collection technique for this research is a questionnaire validator validation, student product test questionnaire, learning responsibility attitude questionnaire and documentation on LKPD used by teachers. The results showed that during the process of developing Project Based Learning worksheets to increase the attitude of learning responsibility it was carried out in 7 steps, namely preliminary studies and information gathering, planning, initial product development, initial trials, product revisions, field trials and revisions to field trials. The feasibility level of LKPD based on the assessment of design experts is 96% in the very good category and the assessment from material experts is 94.52% in the very good category. The response of students' learning responsibility attitudes increased based on the first questionnaire of 89.77% with very good category and the second questionnaire was 93.57% in the very good category.

Abstract

One.of the efforts that.can.be.done.solve.problems.in the process is to develop learning media using the.right.method. One.of.thelearning.problems.found.is use of media where the teacher only uses media in the form of textbooks and videos. From YouTube, in science learning there is a lot of material that requires media in the form of pictures or videos which are equipped with sound to clarify the delivery of the material, so With the media used by the teacher, students do not understand the material being explained and students are less enthusiastic about participating in learning. Therefore this development research aims to produce valid. This research uses a type of research known as research and development (R&D). The development model used in the 10 steps of Borg and Gall is as follows: (1) Potential and Problems, (2i Data Collection, (3) Product Design, (4) Design Validation, (5) Product Testing, (6) Product Revision, (7)) Product trial, (8) Trial, and (10) Production. Learning media products will be testd for imedia validty by two ivalidators and the material ivalidity test will be carried out by one validator. The practicality test results were carried out on 18 grade IV SD UNP Laboratory Development. Validty test, it show that the imedia is said to be very invalid with an ipercentage of 95%, while the eligibility value by material experts is very ivalid with an ipercentage of 96%. At the end of the test, the media product was as very practical of 96%. It can be that learnng meda for the Science subject in class IV SD is considered practical and appropriate to use. Abstract

This study generally aims to describe the assessment tools in thematic learning designs for class IV SD Negeri 10 Serindang, Sambas Regency. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method. Participants in this study served as data sources consisting of class IV A teachers as informants. Data collection techniques are documentation, interviews, and observation. The results of the study show that the attitude assessment plan is guided by Permendikbud Number 23 of 2016 with the following steps: 1) determining the attitude to be observed refers to KI 1 and KI 2 which have been determined by the school; 2) determine the indicators to be observed; 3) develop an attitude assessment format with observation techniques in the form of observation sheets and journals. Planning for knowledge assessment is guided by Permendikbud Number 23 of 2016 with steps namely planning forms and assessment techniques. The form of assessment consists of assessment of written tests, oral tests and assignments. The aspect of knowledge assessment is carried out by means of a daily assessment designed by making elements of the assessment components into the learning implementation plan. Aspects of skills assessment is carried out each per basic competency. Guided by Permendikbud Number 23 of 2016, namely by designing assessment forms and techniques such as practical techniques, products, written tests equipped with assessment component elements.
