Abstract

This study evaluates one of the educational programs at UPT SD Negeri Tamalanrea, namely the PIPOCITA (Our Little Police Picket) program. This program was evaluated using CIPP Evaluation Model which analysed Context, Input, Process and Product of the program. Data were collected using interviews, observation and documentation. The study involved teachers, students and parents. The results showed that the evaluation of the context of this program met the evaluation criteria for the context of a program, namely the existence of goals to be achieved. The input evaluation contained various resources in carrying out the program, namely the presence of picket schedules, resources for carrying out pickets, and the presence of students and teachers who will do pickets. In the evaluation process, it was found that this program was carried out in groups based on the picket schedule and the person in charge to do the picket are still carrying out supervision and evaluation in each program implementation. The evaluation of the Product found that the results of this program made students more independent and had emotional relationships with teachers, students and parents. Therefore, the PIPOCITA program still needs to be adjusted and improved from various aspects according to the characteristics of students and parents and the community in the school area.

Abstract

Dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika tidak hanya dibutuhkan jawaban yang benar, tetapi siswa mampu memahami proses dalam memperoleh jawaban soal cerita. Agar guru dapat menilai kemampuan setiap siswa, siswa diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan soal cerita menggunakan tahapan polya secara berurutan. Tahapan tersebut meliputi memahami masalah, menyusun rencana untuk menyelesaikan masalah, melaksanakan rencana yang telah disusun, dan memeriksa ulang jawaban yang diperoleh. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis kemampuan siswa Kelas IV di SDN 152 Gresik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika pada materi FPB dan KPK. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu siswa Kelas IV SDN 152 Gresik sebanyak 18 Orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti yaitu tes tulis dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui 3 tahap meliputi tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa kemampuan siswa Kelas IV dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika di SDN 152 Gresik berbeda-beda. Terdapat 1 siswa dengan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita tinggi, 9 siswa dengan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita sedang, dan 8 siswa dengan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita rendah. Siswa dengan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita tinggi mampu menyelesaikan semua soal cerita sesuai tahapan polya dengan benar, siswa dengan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita sedang hanya mampu menyelesaikan 3-4 soal sesuai tahapan polya dengan benar, dan siswa dengan kemampuan penyelesaian soal cerita rendah hampir mampu menyelesaikan 3 soal cerita sesuai tahapan polya.

Abstract

Learning media is often used in the implementation of effective learning so that students can be more involved in the classroom. However, many teachers continue to use traditional teaching methods, causing students to be less engaged in learning. Teachers can use song media as one of the learning media. The purpose of this study was to (1) analyze the research planning stages of using song media in social studies learning in class V SDN Kertajaya IV/210 Surabaya. (2) Describe the results of the use of music media in social studies learning on the learning motivation of fifth grade students at SDN Kertajaya IV/210 Surabaya. This study used qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were 20 fifth grade students. This study uses primary data sources. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using technical triangulation. Data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions are the data analysis techniques used. The results of the study revealed that social studies learning with the media of European arrival historical songs included three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Learning planning consists of 2 stages: observation and study of literature. The stages of learning implementation are divided into three parts, namely preparatory activities, core activities, and closing activities. Learning is carried out at the assessment stage by examining achievements and deficiencies that occur during the learning process. The use of music media in social studies learning shows that the learning process runs smoothly and has the potential to increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there are still very few teachers who are not guided by learning tools and only refer to teacher and student books. This study aims to (1) describe the validity of learning tools using the problem-based learning model in learning mathematics on the topic of fractions in Class III SD (2) describe the feasibility of learning devices using the problem-based learning model in learning mathematics on the topic of fractions in Class III SD (3) analyze the effectiveness of learning tools with problem-based learning models in learning mathematics on the topic of fractions in Grade III SD. This research uses the type of development research with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study were 28 Class III students. This study uses evaluation sheet data sources and tests. Data collection techniques include validation questionnaires and tests. Analysis of the data used analysis of validity, feasibility, and validity. The validation results show the validity of lesson plans 4.74, Teaching Materials 4.6, LKPD 4.4, and Assessment Instruments 4.6 which meet the criteria of "very valid" and are very feasible to try out. The test results after the implementation of the development tools were 26 students who completed and 2 students did not complete, so that a classical learning completeness percentage of 92% was obtained and was declared "effective". Thus, it can be concluded that this learning tool is valid, appropriate, and effectively applied to Class III students at UPT SDN 228 Gresik.

Abstract

The low scientific literacy ability of elementary school students is the basis of this research. This study aims to find out and analyze: 1) increasing the scientific literacy abilities of students who use the PBL model with students who use conventional learning; 2) the effect of applying the model PBL on students' scientific literacy abilities. The type of research used is quasi-experimental research with design non-equivalent control group and techniques purposive sampling. The sample for this study was fourth grade students at one of the public elementary schools in Purwakarta, totaling 50 students with 25 students in grade IV A and 25 students in grade IV B. Based on the results of the research, the conclusions were obtained: 1) The scientific literacy skills of students using the PBL model were increased. better compared to students who use conventional learning; 2) there is an influence from the application of the model PBL on students' scientific literacy abilities.

Abstract

Religious moderation is the foundation for schools to respect differences so that tolerance is instilled in the souls of students to respect one another. This study aims to explore the values contained in religious moderation contained in Islamic religious education learning materials. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach that describes and analyzes the inculcation of religious moderation values in students, as well as data collection techniques using purposive sampling. Data was collected through interviews with four informants, observation and documentation, and analyzed using interactive analysis using the Milles & Huberman model. From the results of this study, there are five values of religious moderation, namely: (1) Al-I'tidal (Perpendicularity and being proportional), (2) At-Tasamuh (Tolerant), (3) Asy-Syura (Deliberation), ( 4) Al-Muwathanah (Love of the motherland), and (5) I'tiraf al-'Urf (Cultural Friendly. Related to this, it can be used as a guideline to be developed in education with a broad scope.

Abstract

Science process skills are skillssthattmust be mastereddby students in the scienceelearning process. Theelow skills offstudents' science processes are the main basissfor this research. This study aims to determine the effect and increase the application3of STEM approaches to the science2process skills of elementary school students. The type of research used in this study was quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes of fifth grade elementary school students, which were then divided into experimental classes that received treatment with the application of learning using a STEM approach and control classes that received learning using a scientific approach. The results of data analysis showed that learning with the STEM approach resulted in an increase of 0.81 and was in the high category, while the scientific approach resulted in an increase of 0.38 and was in the medium category. These results show that students' science process skills improved better in classes that applied a STEM approach compared to classes that applied a scientific approach. In addition, there was an influence from the STEM approach on improving the science process skills of elementary school students by 16.9%. In this study, it was concluded that: 1) The improvement of science process skills of students whoareceived learning1using a STEM approach1was better than3students who received learning1with a scientificiapproach. 2) STEM approaches to science learning affect students'iscience1processiskills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning process which demands active participation from the learner, but in reality the learning process still tends to reduce the role and participation of students. This study intends to see how much influence the digital comic-assisted discovery learning model flip book has in efforts to improve social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students in the 2022/2023 academic year to find out whether the digital comic-assisted discovery learning model is more effective than the digital flip book learning model. conventional. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group pre-test and post-test design. This research was conducted at SDN 1 Cibening with 25 students in class VA and 24 students in class VB as research samples. The instrument used in this study is a test. Based on the research findings, it shows that the discovery learning model assisted by digital flip book comics has an effect on student learning outcomes with an effect of 79.4%. The discovery learning model assisted by digital flip book comics is more effective than the conventional learning model with the difference in the pretest and posttest average scores, in the experimental class being greater than the control class. Overall, the increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class belongs to the quite effective category, while the control class belongs to the less effective category. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the comic digital flip book-assisted discovery learning model has an effect on efforts to improve social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students in elementary schools and the digital flip book-assisted discovery learning model is more effective.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of learning with the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPaCK) approach in class VI of Elementary School 09 Pontianak Tenggara. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research using observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation. Qualitative data were obtained through observation sheets which included 4 aspects and 20 indicators, teacher interview guidelines consisting of 20 questions, and student interview guidelines consisting of 15 questions. The results of this study concluded that the implementation of learning with the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPaCK) approach was carried out by analyzing the interaction of learning models using the TPaCK approach. This approach involves aspects such as TK (Technological Knowledge), PK (Pedagogical Knowledge), CK (Content Knowledge), PCK (Pedagogical Content Knowledge), TPK (Technological Pedagogical Knowledge), TCK (Technological Content Knowledge), and TPaCK (Technological Knowledge). Pedagogical and Content Knowledge). Obstacles in implementing this approach involve human resources, facilities, and facilities. Each learning information technology approach has components such as vision, goals, development, planning, necessary facilities, learning methods, and learning evaluation. Efforts to overcome this obstacle include internal coaching in schools, improving the quality of education, and involving teachers in various training activities and seminars. This aims to align the vision and understanding of teachers towards education and improve their abilities as professional educators.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how effective the classical guidance of the snowball throwing approach was to improve students' reasoning abilities more or less. This type of quantitative research, with an experimental research design. To obtain data from the problems studied, the data collection technique that the authors use is through distributing questionnaires. Data processing was carried out in a quantitative descriptive manner, then described and classified aspects of certain problems and explained through effective sentences according to the concept of guidance and counseling. The results showed that the implementation of the classical snowball throw approach in improving students' critical reasoning abilities after carrying out the N-gain Asymp test. Sig. (2-tailed) for the two-tailed test the significance value of 0.510 is greater than the significance value of 0.169 (0.169 > 0.05). Then H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, meaning that there is no significant difference in the ability to reason between students in the experimental group who are given classical guidance services using the snowball throwing approach and group students who are given classical guidance services without the snowball throwing approach.
