Abstract

This article is a non-research-based article discussing vocational education and training (VET) between Indonesia and Training. The purpose of this article is to give comprehensive knowledge regarding the policy practices to the field of educational sectors particularly in vocational education and training between two countries (Indonesia and Tanzania). To begin, the writers give an overview regarding the VET policy between Indonesia and Tanzania. Both countries have in common when it comes to the objectives of VET programs. Furthermore, the writers discuss about the policy drivers which they view that the VET policy is driven by the demand of industrial sectors. Moreover, comparing and analyzing policy document between Indonesian and Tanzanian VET policy practice which are found that both countries have significant discrepancy in terms of the organizer of VET. Also, both countries face several challenges to implement VET program according to the result of STEEP analysis.

Abstract

Concentration on children's learning at an early age is an important aspect in the learning process. The ASYIK Play Model is an abbreviation of Safe, Happy, Confident, Confident, Innovative and Creative. The ASYIK model is a model that can be used to increase children's learning concentration at an early age. This research aims to increase learning concentration in children by using the ASYIK Play Model as well as rewards and shouts for early childhood at the Taman Fioretty Orphanage, Kampung Sawah, Bekasi, West Java. Apart from that, what the researchers want to achieve is to be able to motivate children to be able to carry out activities independently and enthusiastically. The research method used is qualitative description which is focused on the basis of facts carried out by observation, interviews and studying documents. The research results show that the ASYIK Play Model can help improve children's learning concentration.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of reading literacy skills among elementary school students. This is caused by the lack of adequate reading infrastructure, including libraries and limited variety of books. The purpose of this study is to find out how the use of the Let's Read application affects the reading literacy skills of 5th grade elementary school students. This study uses quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods. The design used in this study was a pre-experimental design where only one class was given a pre-test and a post-test, namely the experimental class without a control or comparison class. The questionnaire became the instrument used in this study. As for the respondents in this study were all 5th grade students, totaling 28 people. The treatment was given for 10 meetings. Data processing shows that the Let's Read application has a significant impact on the reading literacy skills of fifth grade students.

Abstract

The picture and picture learning model is a learning medium that uses pictures and is paired or sequenced into a logical sequence. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the picture and picture learning model in Civics learning on the learning outcomes of class IV students at UPTD SD InpresLabat. This type of research is quantitative. The experimental design used in this research was a non-equivalent control group design. In this study, the population was class IV students at UPTD SD Inpres Labat, totaling 40 students, consisting of class A totaling 20 and class B totaling 20. And the sample from this research was all class IV students totaling 40 students, where class A was control class and class B as the experimental class. The data collection techniques used in this research are tests and documentation and the instruments used in this research are post test and pre test. The data analysis used in this research is the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test or t-test. Based on the results of the research and discussions conducted regarding: the influence of the picture and picture learning model assisted by puzzles on the Civics learning outcomes of class IV UPTD SD InpresLabat students, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the picture and picture learning model and student learning outcomes. This is proven by the results of hypothesis testing using a paired sample test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of the research show a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.00 < 0.05, so it is concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that student learning outcomes are different between the experimental class and the control class, or in other words, there is a significant difference between the picture and picture learning model assisted by puzzles and the Civics learning outcomes of class IV students at UPTD SD Inpres Labat.

Abstract

This research discusses the development of multimedia-based mobile learning in class X informatics subjects of SMKN. The purpose of the research is to develop a mobile learning product based on multimedia in class X informatics subjects at SMKN. This research method is development research (R&D) with a 4D development model. The population in this study was all grade X students at SMKN 1 West Pasaman. The sample of this study amounted to 25 respondents taken from one class X at SMKN. The data collection tool used a questionnaire with a total of 19 question items. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quacitivative, using Likert scale. The results of research on learning media development by media validators 1 and 2 were obtained " 4.95" with the category "Very Valid". For material validators on the feasibility aspects of content, presentation, and evaluation, "4.10" was obtained with the category "Valid". The results of the practicality test to students on multimedia, it was concluded that the assessment carried out by students obtained results of “4.53” with the category "Very Practical"

Abstract

The limited access to education because of many underprivileged communities has an impact to their children in which they could not obtain such a proper education.  The Policy of Pariri Cerdas Assistance Program has been existed as one of the regional government innovations that aimed at achieving equal distribution and expansion of educational access in West Sumbawa Regency. By relatively short period, this policy is considered superficial to discuss. Therefore, the urgency of this research was to focus on the extent of the impact of implementation the Pariri Cerdas Assistance, what factors has been supported and obstructed the implementation of the program, and what were the strategies for optimizing the program of Pariri Cerdas Assistance in West Sumbawa Regency. By applying a qualitative descriptive approach and Field Research, researcher attempted to examine facts in the field that related to the implementation of related policies to research objectivities. The data collection methods applied were observation, interviews and documentation, journal literature, articles and relevant sites to this study. There were 33 samples of informants from 3 zones in the West Sumbawa Regency (North, Central and South Zones). The analysis methods for this research were descriptive and SWOT. According to data analysis, it was concluded that: 1) It is important to identify some supporting and inhibiting factors as part of determining the effective strategy in optimizing Pariri Cerdas Assistance Program, 2) Implementation of Pariri Cerdas assistance is claimed to be quite effective and positive for several aspects, meant that there were still some points to be reinforced involved the factual process and target as evaluation for this program in the future, 3) Grand design strategy for optimizing the program of Pariri Cerdas included; the needs to develop Pariri Cerdas policies, Financing Analysis of Pariri Cerdas program, updating the DTKS as one of references for determining the addressees of Pariri  Cerdas regularly, the need to strengthen Mechanism for the next implementation program of Pariri Cerdas, Monitoring and Evaluation of the Pariri Cerdas program, the need of forming such a Task Force Unit which is involving some private sectors and NGOs and supporting the Pariri Cerdas Program, Advocacy for Pariri Cerdas to some parties involved, Digital-Based Innovation in Education Financing Programs, Increasing partnerships to build Innovative breakthroughs in addressing education financing.

Abstract

Dalam tulisan ini, gagasan tentang sistem informasi manajemen pendidikan dan bagaimana hubungannya dengan transformasi digital akan dibahas. Sangat penting bagi institusi pendidikan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi manajemen (SIM). Penting untuk dilaksanakan sejauh menyangkut kebutuhan administrasi dan permintaan kebutuhan masyarakat, kerangka data administrasi memberikan data yang tepat dan ideal yang diharapkan dapat bekerja dengan arah dan pemikiran kritis yang memberdayakan pelaksanaan pengaturan, kontrol dan kemampuan fungsional untuk benar-benar berjalan . Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penulisan ilmiah. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan dan pengelolaan SIM organisasi dapat secara efektif dan efisien menghasilkan keputusan yang tidak hanya cepat dan akurat tetapi juga sejalan dengan praktik terbaik organisasi. Data telah menjadi aset penting untuk mengawasi asosiasi saat ini. Kajian pustaka digunakan dalam metode penelitian ini. Hasil dalam tulisan ini menemukan bahwa perenungan esensial dan metodologi dinamis dalam otoritas instruktif sangat bagus dan sesuai dengan hipotesis.

Abstract

Mangrove ecotourism in Sekotong, Lombok Barat, holds immense potential for education and local economic development. However, there are still limitations in effectively communicating mangrove education information to tourists and local communities. This study aims to determine the role of "Menu of Mangrove" in raising awareness and knowledge about the mangrove ecosystem among Pokdarwis (tourism awareness groups) and visitors, as well as transforming the traditional perspective on ecotourism visits. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection methods include participant and structured observation, in-depth interviews, FGD (Focus Group Discussion), and document analysis. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive and qualitative analysis. The findings of the study demonstrate that Menu of Mangrove is an effective innovation in enhancing awareness and knowledge about the mangrove ecosystem among Pokdarwis and visitors. Menu of Mangrove also successfully transforms the traditional perspective on mangrove ecotourism visits and motivates Pokdarwis to better understand and conserve the mangrove ecosystem.Keywords: Menu of Mangrove, Mangrove Ecotourism, Mangrove Education

Abstract

Low interest in learning in students is generally caused by two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors arise from within the students themselves, such as health, mental readiness, intelligence level, interest and so on. External factors are factors that come from outside the student, such as the environment, family, community, friends, teachers, media, learning facilities and infrastructure.The purpose of this research is to find out what factors can cause low interest in learning in students. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of approach is descriptive research, the research subjects are homeroom teachers and student guardians with data collection techniques interviews, observations and documents through student learning outcomes report cards. The results of this study reveal that low student interest in learning is due to students' lack of interest or interest in learning in the classroom. The lack of interest in learning in students is due to the learning methods used by teachers are still old methods, lack of innovation from teachers such as not developing teaching materials with teaching aids when teaching. Inadequate facilities and infrastructure can also be a factor in causing low interest in learning such as buildings for learning classes that are lacking, benches and tables that are no longer suitable for use and lack of other learning support tools. In addition, the lack of support from the environment, both parents and teachers, can also cause low interest in learning.
