Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of the mixed navigation environment system on the ATC workload after the implementation of RNP-1 at Perum LPPNPI Lampung sub-branch office. The research sample used was a saturated sample because the total population was not greater than 10 people, so it was taken from the entire population in the ADC/APP combined service service unit. The object is directed at ATC at the ADC/APP service unit combined with services at Perum LPPNPI, Lampung Sub-Branch Office. The research method used is a qualitative method. In addition, the data collection method used in this study is the method of observation, questionnaires and interviews as a data collection tool at Radin Inten II Airport Lampung. Based on the results of the study, the average Likert scale questionnaire results obtained a value of 90% and it can be concluded that ATC respondents strongly agree that the mixed navigation environment system can increase the workload of the air traffic controller at Perum LPPNPI, Lampung Sub-Branch.

Abstract

Batam Hang Nadim International Airport is an airport that has the longest runway in Indonesia, which is 4025 m long and 45 m wide. Batam Hang Nadim International Airport has approximately 110 aircraft movements per day. With the large number of aircraft movements, in terms of air traffic services, it is required to be able to provide maximum service so as to create a smooth flow of air traffic. However, this has not been maximized because the transfer of control of arrival aircraft from Tanjung Pinang Approach to Hang Nadim Tower is not in a definite position and can cause ambiguity when coordinating. The theories supporting this research include ICAO Annex 11, ICAO Chapter 6 point 6.5 (Procedures for Arriving Aircraft), CASR 170 PM 65 of 2017 (Air Traffic Rules), ICAO DOC. 4444 (Air Traffic Management), KP 41 of 2020, LOCA Batam and Tanjung Pinang. Data was collected by means of observation, questionnaires, and literature study. The results show that the Transfer of Control of arrival aircraft from Tanjung Pinang Approach to Hang Nadim Tower is less efficient. A review is needed in the TOC of arrival aircraft and the naming of IAF points in the IAC which can facilitate the transfer of arrival aircraft and at a definite point.

Abstract

This final project describes the obstacles faced by the author regarding the provision of Flight Information Service in the ATS Reporting Office (ARO) Ambon unit. The problem with the Ambon ATS Reporting Office (ARO) unit is the delay of the Airlines in sending the Flight Plan that is not in accordance with the LOCA between the ATS Reporting Office (ARO) and the Airlines on the Flight Plan delivery, which is a minimum of 24 hours before departure and a maximum of 120 minutes before departure. time estimate off block time (EOBT). The emergence of these obstacles was due to the lack of knowledge of the Airlines regarding the Letter of Coordination Agreement (LOCA). In addition, the lack of coordination from the Airlines unit regarding the delay in sending the Flight Plan also hampered the process of providing navigation services. The results of the data obtained during the author conducting research at the same time as the author conducting On the Job Training, namely on November 02, 2020 to March 17, 2021 at Perum LPPNPI, Pattimura Ambon Branch, are expected to provide input and suggestions so that existing problems can be resolved and service delivery can be achieved. running optimally. These obstacles can be resolved by reviewing the Letter of Coordination Agreement (LOCA) so as to create an effective and efficient service delivery.

Abstract

This Airnav Indonesia Pontianak as the provider of air traffic service always keeping their works to increase their great air traffic services that refer to International Civil Aviation Organtization (ICAO) Document 4444 Chapter 10 Transfer Of Coordination which explains about the coordination procedure between the air traffic service units or sector control. The hurdle which have been experienced by Aeronautical Communication Officers (ACO) is The Voice Communication Control System (VCCS) that less than optimal. Those Voice Communication Control System (VCCS) has many problems such as the voice which is really low when the coordination between Pontianak Sector and Jakarta FIC takes place. The second problem is on its output that has really bad quality even it can’t be heard at all. Another problem is a parallel network on Pontianak Sector’s VCCS. Whenever Pontianak Sector calls Jakarta FIC, it will be connected into Jakarta Approach’s VCCS. The method which be used in this research is qualitive descriptive method using 2 variables; Long Distance Direct Dial Phone as the X Variable and coordination between Pontianak Sector and Jakarta FIC as the Y Variable. The data collection technics are using; observation, quetioner, and interview. The purpose of this research is to analyze if the Long Distance Direct Dial Phone could be used as the alternative coordination facility in overcoming the problems that occured on Pontianak Sector’s Voice Communication Control System (VCCS). Hopefully the result of this research could give solutions for Airnav Indonesia Pontianak so they could increase their great work in air traffic services especially in coordination with another sector control.

Abstract

The VFR route is made to facilitate the provision of services, both in terms of providing information on security and flight safety. Based on data in the field, VFR flights at Perum LPPNPI Balikpapan Branch do not yet have a definite visual flight route. This makes it a little difficult for ACO personnel to ensure the exact position of the aircraft, even though the provision of a flight path is an important aspect for aircraft to get maximum service. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research design that uses 2 variables; Design of Maps VFR route (Variable X) and Work Improvement of ATS-RO Unit (Variable Y). Data collection techniques using; observation, literature study, and interviews. Interviews were conducted with 6 ACO personnel and 1 PANS-OPS Expert at Perum LPPNPI Balikpapan Branch. The results of this study indicate the need for procurement of maps of the southern VFR route in order to improve the performance of the ATS-RO unit at Perum LPPNPI Balikpapan Branch. So from the results of the study it can be concluded that the procurement of maps for the southern VFR route needs to be realized immediately in order to support the provision of maximum flight navigation services. Especially for visual flights operating in the Ujung Pandang area of ​​the FIC Balikpapan sector.

Abstract

This Final Project describes the obstacles faced by the author regarding the analysis of the impact of delays in Airlanes Operator sending Slot Delay on air traffic services at Perum LPPNPI Ambon Branch. The emergence of these obstacles is due to the frequent delays of Airlines Operators in sending information regarding changes to slot delays so that the slot delay management process carried out by ACO personnel serving in the ARO Unit will be hampered, the ARO Unit must send a delay message 15 minutes before the EOBT time. The purpose of writing this final project is to facilitate ACO personnel in performing ATS Messages services so as not to interfere with flight safety services. The data analysis method is descriptive quantitative. This research uses data processing in the form of a Likert scale which refers to sources that are relevant and have credibility. The results of this study are expected to provide alternative problem solving so that ACO personnel can provide maximum service

Abstract

OTP (On Time Performance) is a condition when the departure time and arrival time of the aircraft are in accordance with what has been determined. On time performance is important because an aircraft has a use value when the aircraft is in the air. This study aims to obtain an overview of whether there is an influence between traffic density and on time performance at Juanda International Airport, Surabaya. The method used is a quantitative correlation research method. The research population is aircraft operating in 2019/2020 which contains flight data from November 2019 to February 2020 (four months). And for the sample, namely the departure plane from the population using a regional sample (cluster sampling). The data collection technique used is a documentation study containing the number of flights in the winter season. For each aircraft movement data needed for research include: EOBT (Estimated Off Block Time) and time pushback. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used is to use statistical data processing in the form of a simple linear regression test and followed by Spearman Rank correlation. The research concludes that there is a strong and inversely proportional effect between traffic density and On Time Performance at Juanda International Airport with a significance value is 0.000 and a Correlation Coefficient value is 0.687. From these results, it is hoped that there will be a review of the traffic departure density operating to reduce delays and increase on time while still complying with the On Time Performance regulations, which are calculated 15 minutes before or after Estimated Off Block Time in accordance with the rules contained in KP 112 years 2018.

Abstract

The commitment of an airport is to provide the best services and facilities for all passengers of air transportation modes, including persons with disabilities. Article 29 paragraph (1) of Law Number 25 of 2009 states that the organizer has the responsibility to provide services and facilities with special treatment to certain community members in accordance with the provisions of the legislation. In this case, certain communities, one of which is passengers with disabilities. This journal describes the design of an internet of things-based application system called caring by me. Caring by me is a public service platform for passengers with disabilities using air transportation, with this platform passengers with disabilities can report the need or difficulties experienced to travel using air transportation. This platform can be integrated with the service division of every airline operating at Indonesian airports and this can be used by passengers with disabilities to get various services and facilities such as special assistants, wheelchairs, canes or special requests such as health service translators and will continue to grow as time goes by. time. This design was carried out with Research and Development (R&D) research, with the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model development procedure.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on several aspects of life, one of the biggest impacts on the world of aviation. Due to Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) policy that has been established by the government, passenger traffic in 2020 has decreased compared to 2019. In addition to a decrease in passengers, the Covid-19 pandemic also has an impact on the demand for air cargo. This study aims to determine the condition of cargo movement in & out during the pandemic so that it can be used as a comparison and evaluation as well as to find out the development of air cargo before the pandemic to the time of the pandemic that occurred until the start of improvement in better conditions. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method using data collection techniques in the form of observation, literature study, and interviews. The results showed several factors that caused the demand for air cargo to decrease by almost 50%, which made the movement of incoming and outgoing cargo unstable. This has an impact on the occurrence of changes in the type of commodity of the cargo goods. In addition, after the Covid-19 pandemic, the mechanism for handling incoming and outgoing cargo must be paid more attention. In addition, health protocols must be implemented for the safety of cargo goods to the cargo handling personnel. However, based on the author's research, there are still frequent negligence of cargo personnel at Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport Lombok in implementing health protocols.

Abstract

Hang Nadim International Airport Batam is one of the airports in Indonesia that serves both domestic and international routes. As an airport that serves international flights, the rapid development of cargo has resulted in an increasingly crowded and congested cargo delivery rate. The writer found problems that related to the lack and effectiveness of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) facilities in the supervision carried out by the Inspector Terminal unit. The Cargo Terminal has a huge area that engerders supervision in the cargo terminal area is carried out by the Airport Inspector Terminal unit which is not only responsible for the terminal area. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of CCTV facilities in the supervision carried out by the Inspector Terminal. there is still a lack of CCTV facilities in the cargo area so that there is a buildup of goods and reduces the monitoring performance of the Terminal Inspector unit. The existence of CCTV facilities in the cargo area and adding CCTV in areas that haven’t been covered can increase the supervision carried out by the Inspector Terminal.
