Abstract

This study examines the Save Sangihe Island (SSI) movement against PT. Tambang Mas Sangihe (TMS) in 2020-2024 in the case of gold mining in the Sangihe Islands Regency, North Sulawesi. The study uses the theory of contentious politics to explain the resistance of the movement. The research method uses a qualitative method to explore the social phenomenon of the SSI movement against PT. TMS by asking a number of in-depth research questions. The results of the study show that the SSI movement emerged as a response to ecological threats and violations of the right to living space due to mining policies in small island areas that should be legally protected. By using a qualitative approach and a contentious politics framework, this study analyzes how SSI builds resistance through the mobilization of social resources, elite support, litigation, collective action repertoires, and framing of resistance narratives. The findings show that SSI's success lies not only in the strength of the masses, but also in the effectiveness of strategic networks, moral legitimacy, and adaptive abilities in the face of state repression. This study contributes to strengthening the theory of contentious politics by emphasizing the importance of the interaction between political opportunities, resistance tactics, and symbolic power in fighting PT. TMS which has strong resources.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of soccer invasion games on the motor skills of sixth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 066045 Medan in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 20 students selected using total sampling. Data collection was conducted through observation of students' motor skills in dribbling, passing, and shooting. The results showed an increase in the average score from the pre-test (69.05) to the post-test (80.10). Based on the t-test analysis, the significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that there was a significant effect of soccer invasion games on improving students' motor skills. Thus, soccer invasion games can be used as an alternative learning method to enhance the motor skills of elementary school students.

Abstract

The waste problem in Makassar City is increasingly complex, especially due to the increasing volume of waste that accumulates at the Antang Final Disposal Site (TPA). This condition requires a more effective waste management strategy, one of which is through optimizing the role of the Waste Bank. This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) of the Asoka V Unit Waste Bank as one of the best waste banks in Makassar City. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Asoka V Unit Waste Bank has strengths in the form of adequate facilities and continuous collaboration with private parties such as Pegadaian, while the weakness lies in the decline in the support of the village government. The opportunities are obtained from the support of the Environment Agency and increasing public awareness of waste management, while the threat comes from the increasing volume of waste and the lack of active participation of some residents. This research emphasizes that multistakeholder synergy is the key in strengthening the role of Waste Banks as an alternative solution in reducing the burden of waste at the Antang Landfill.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the success strategy of using the Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) portal application on the performance of Account Representatives (AR) at the South Jakarta I Regional Tax Office (KPP) using the Delone and McLean Model approach (1992 & 2003). In the era of digitalization of tax administration, the use of DGT applications is a major factor in increasing the effectiveness of AR services and productivity. The estimation method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to test the relationship between the variables of System Quality (X1) and Information Quality (X2) as independent variables, User Satisfaction (Y1) as a moderating variable, and User Performance (Y2) as a dependent variable. The sampling method used is a saturated sample, with a total of 221 respondents, consisting of Account Representatives at the South Jakarta I Regional Tax Office. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire-based survey, which was then analyzed using SEM to identify the direct and indirect effects of system quality and information quality on AR performance, with user satisfaction as a moderating factor. The results of the study indicate that system quality and information quality contribute significantly to improved AR performance, both directly and through increased user satisfaction. The Delone and McLean model confirms that a more efficient digital tax system and accurate information play a crucial role in improving Account Representative task effectiveness and taxpayer satisfaction. These findings provide strategic implications for the Directorate General of Taxes in designing policies for digitizing tax services and enhancing human resource capacity in the tax administration sector.

Abstract

Design of a Leap Motion-Based Educational Game on the Introduction of Indonesian Traditional Houses for Elementary School Students. This research aims to design a Leap Motion-based educational game as an innovative learning media in introducing Indonesian traditional houses to elementary school students. The background is based on the limited interactive learning media used in cultural education, especially on the material of traditional houses which have been taught with conventional approaches. Using Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE development model, the research focused on the needs analysis stage through interviews and distributing questionnaires to education experts, elementary school teachers, and students. The results of the analysis showed that learning about traditional houses is still static and uninteresting, so it is unable to build a contextualized learning experience. Both teachers and students showed high enthusiasm for the use of gesture-based media that allows visual and kinesthetic interaction. Leap Motion is considered to have high potential in realizing embodied learning that can increase student engagement and understanding. Experts recommended 3D visualization features, gesture-based navigation and cultural narrative in the game. These findings provide a conceptual and empirical foundation for the development of the ArchiLeap: Jelajah Rumah Adat Nusantara that bridges the richness of local culture with an adaptive, fun, and contextualized digital technology approach.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the influence of authoritarian leadership of school/madrasah principals on the discipline and compliance of educators and education personnel in the school environment. This type of research is qualitative research Library research. The research results show that the authoritarian leadership style implemented by the principal significantly influences the level of discipline among educators and education staff. Educators and education staff tend to exhibit high levels of discipline due to strict supervision and clear punishments. However, this compliance is temporary, driven more by fear and pressure than by personal awareness and responsibility. Furthermore, an authoritarian leadership style also lowers work motivation, inhibits creativity, and reduces active participation in school decision-making. Thus, it can be concluded that authoritarian leadership by principals is indeed capable of improving formal discipline, but is less effective in fostering compliance stemming from intrinsic awareness and harmonious working relationships. This study recommends that principals adopt a more participatory and communicative leadership style to create a healthy and productive work climate.
